Czechoslovak People's Party and its and its Relationships to Democracy in Czechoslovakia between two World Wars

This study focuses on the relationship Czechoslovak People's Party for Democracy in the interwar period (Czechoslovakia 1918–1938). The People's Party at the time represented the Czech political Catholicism, which is sometimes criticized ambivalent relationship to democratic ideals. Czechoslovak People's Party, however, throughout the period acted as a stabilizing element of the entire company and as one of the pillars of a democratic regime.

Příspěvek popisuje novou metodu zpřístupnění velkého a cenného knihovního fondu, jehož původní uspořádání se nezachovalo a ke kterému neexistuje žádný katalog. Metoda byla aplikována na sbírce starých tisků (1501-1800) z knihovny Ústavu T. G. Masaryka; nyní ve správě Masarykova ústavu a Archivu AV ČR. Metoda je založena na pořízení tří souborů dat: přepis původního přírůstkového seznamu do digitální podoby, fyzická inventarizace knih v depozitáři a evidenční fotodokumentace. Data lze propojit s použitím přírůstkového čísla jako klíče. Příspěvek představuje i praktické zkušenosti s metodou a výhody jejího použití v celku přibližně 10.000 starých tisků.
