Tato studie se věnuje vztahu Československé strany lidové k prvorepublikové demokracii v meziválečném období. Lidová strana v té době reprezentovala český politický katolicismus, kterému bývá někdy vytýkán rozporuplný vztah k demokratickým ideálům. Československá strana lidová však v celém sledovaném období vystupovala jako stabilizační prvek celé společnosti a jako jedna z opor demokratického režimu. This study focuses on the relationship Czechoslovak People's Party for Democracy in the interwar period (Czechoslovakia 1918–1938). The People's Party at the time represented the Czech political Catholicism, which is sometimes criticized ambivalent relationship to democratic ideals. Czechoslovak People's Party, however, throughout the period acted as a stabilizing element of the entire company and as one of the pillars of a democratic regime.
