Mediarepresentation of forming local policy

The diploma thesis on the "Media representation of forming of local policy (on the example of the financing of the Prague theatres)" suggests that mass media contribute to the forming of local policy by selective reporting of the politics. This fact is illustrated on the example of forming grant policy of the capital city of Prague. The analysed media are the daily papers MF Dnes, Lidové noviny, Právo and the televisions TV Nova and Česká televize in 2007 and 2008. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis introduces the relation between mass media and reality, the effects of media and the factors influencing forming of the news content. The political communication is discussed; this phenomenon is introduced together with the personalisation of politics and the mediatisation. Furthermore the paper deals with the agenda- setting theory and its relation to framing theory and the theory of news values. Then the development of the dispute is given, the most important moments are emphasized. The research part of the diploma thesis includes results of the quantitative content analysis. The aim of this research was to discover the media image of the dispute and to confirm or to disprove the hypothesis (i.e. the mass media were not impartial). Present level of unemployement in region Teplice in relation to active labour market policy

The aim of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of unemployement developement in the region Teplice. In its theoretical part are determined basic key terms related to market structure -- mainly Labour market, Unemployment and Labour policy. This part also contains several notifications about differences between this market and the market of goods and services. The very next part deals with socioeconomic and demographic analysis of the region -- main focus is given to development of supply of the labour. Following chapter deals with development of the Labour market, mainly with the number of people unemployed and to the number of jobs available. The next part is focused to active employment policy realized by Labour office as a instrument in the struggle against the unemployment. In the very last part, there is summary and recommendations for the future unemployment policy. This recommendation is created in cooperation with the biggest companies in this area.

Unemployment of person with tertiary education within the District of Pelhrimov

The work is concerned with unemployment of persons with higher and university education in the job market within the District of Pelhrimov. It focuses on price rating, social position, educational structure, as well as on total quality of life. Regular monitoring system of employees income level in the Czech Republic is used to evaluate opportunities in the job market. The work is also partly concerned with tertiary education reforms that in a certain way impact and will impact on opportunities for these persons in the job market. It analyzes the local job market investigated with assistance of Employment Office in Pelhrimov and it also partly affects graduate unemployment and evaluates views of eight employers in this market. On the basis of data supplied by Ministery of Labour and Social Affairs and subsequent comparison with results of employers investigation questionnaire, the assumption that in the job market there is not enough interest in persons with bachelor's degree or higher education was confirmed.

Active employment policy in the Blansko district

The bachelor thesis is focused on the active employment policy in the Blansko district, funding, tools and goals. It concentrates on retraining which is one of the most used tools of active employment policy. It is financed from the government budget of the Czech Republic and European Union funds, and describes the educational structure, proportion of women in unemployment, age distribution of job applicants and the vacancy supply. There is paid special attention to the retraining and successful placing of retrainers on labour market in practical part of our thesis. The cost-effective analyze of solvation of this situation through preventive retraining in comparision with paying long-term unemployment and social benefits is the main aim of this part. I have used the analyse of gross effects of retraining on this problem.

Financing of theatres – allowance organizations of the City of Prague

The diploma thesis deals with the financing of theatres -- allowance organizations of the City of Prague. The thesis outlines the development of organisational structures of the Czech theatre as well as offers an overview on how theatres are run and operated in relation to the Czech legislation. Furthermore, the whole issue is examined in depth and placed in a wider context of economic policy. The thesis aims to evaluate the transformation using the example of selected theatres that have been transformed; the analysis also consideres allowance organisations. It is intended to outline mechanisms that enable optimal functioning of theatres in general, i. e. not only for non-profit theatres, as well as combine private and public financing at the same time. Systems of financing arts in United Kingdom and in Austria are presented in order to provide inspiration for the improvement of the Czech system. This diploma thesis endeavours an outline of the question analysed in its whole complexity.

Financování základního výzkumu Grantovou agenturou ČR

Tématem bakalářské práce je financování základního výzkumu Grantovou agenturou. První část práce je věnována uvedení do problematiky výzkumu a vývoje, podává základní definice, vysvětluje způsoby financování výzkumu a vývoje a také popisuje výdaje na výzkum a vývoj v ČR a v mezinárodní komparaci. Druhá část práce se již celá zabývá Grantovou agenturou ČR a všímá si základních problematických bodů stávajícího grantového systému. Snaží se zodpovědět si otázku, zda je navrnovaná reforma výzkumu, vývoje a inovací uspokojivým způsobem řeší, popř. které nedostatky v systému přetrvávájí. Zvolenou metodou je anketární šetření, které bylo provedeno mezi výzkumnými pracovníky Ústavu experimentální botaniky AV ČR v Praze a Olomouci.
