It includes analysis of all risks and suggestions of an insurance portfolio that can help the community minimize the most serious risks to its activities through commercial insurance and reduce to lowest level the threats to those activities.

Daily mobility and socio-economic aspects of regions and their impact on the functional spatial organization of society

Population mobility is a key urban shaping element that shows the functional relationships of the urban environment through the generalization of individual movement. The mutual process whereby the structure of the city determines mobility and is subsequently modelled by it is also important for understanding processes in the suburban or metropolitan zone. The dynamics of this process not only in the Czech environment is mainly due to the developing suburbanization, which in recent decades has been attributed a leading role in the visual and functional transformation of the landscape. In addition to suburbanization, which can be perceived as a process within the urban space, today's society and economy are also influenced by two significant external forces - globalization and technological progress. Technological progress is both materialised in a wide range of physical devices and innovations and manifested in the development of a parallel digital world. Studying settlement systems with mobile positioning data

Settlement systems, the large-scale manifestation of the spatial organization of human society, are the frequent object of human geography studies. Mobile positioning data have been used in recent decades as a unique source on human activities in space, but robust methodologies to generate datasets from them that would be comparable in accuracy to conventional sources such as census data or travel diaries have still been lacking. This thesis aims to bridge the gap by describing in detail how to generate population distribution and commuting datasets from mobile positioning sources with the mentioned accuracy using ma- chine learning and ancillary geospatial data, including proper treatment of data privacy and artifacts inherent to mobile positioning, and to illustrate their ca- pabilities by building hierarchical settlement system models from them. The role of ICT in everyday life and mobility of young people

This diploma thesis is focused on the role of ICT in everyday life and mobility of young people. The main goal of this thesis is to find out how the physical and virtual space mingle in the everyday life and mobility of young people who have been selected for the research, using diaries as a qualitative method. The aim was to point out some specifics of everyday activities in the physical and virtual space of the deliberately selected sample of young people that may be present in the whole population. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part deals with the virtual space, Time geography in relation to ICT and some studies concerning different perspectives of the influence of ICT on everyday life of people. The empirical part focuses on the use of ICT by selected socio- demographical groups of Czech inhabitants and some time aspects of the use of ICT and other activities performed by young people and other age groups. Then, the key part is about the description of the mingling of virtual and physical space in the everyday life of 10 communication partners. Action for protection of personal rights due to bodily harm

The principal topic of this thesis is the issue of personal rights protection, specifically the protection of personal rights in connection with an occupational injury. My interest in the topic stems from the discrepancy between the statutory damages that may be awarded for non-pecuniary loss under the applicable provisions of Act 40/1964 Sb., Civil Code, as amended1 (Civil Code) and the damages customarily awarded by Czech courts, which often substantially overstep the boundaries prescribed by the legislature. The Czech courts frequently ascribe to the view, particularly in cases involving a non-pecuniary loss caused by occupational injuries (even where caused by negligence), that the statutory damages, that is damages stipulated by the Civil Code2 and by the implementing regulation, do not represent an adequate compensation; as a consequence, the courts in this jurisdiction tend to append to the statutory damages for a single injury or loss of health claim an additional compensation that derives its statutory justification from the provisions of law enacted with a completely different original intent. Představení unikátního projektu, ve kterém se spojuje KISK MU s KJM v Brně, tradiční s inovativním, očekávané s překvapivým. Akademické prostředí neustále produkuje nové nápady a představy toho, co by mělo a mohlo být realizováno. Bohužel, často se stává, že v klasickém a léta fungujícím prostředí tyto nápady naráží na nepříznivou realitu. A proto vznikl projekt Křižovatka, projekt, který za svůj hlavní cíl považuje vytvoření takového prostředí, které umožní tyto nápady realizovat a uvést do praxe.
