Design and analysis of personal agency database system development
Zásměta, Jakub ; Štanclová, Jana (advisor) ; Bednárek, David (referee)
The objective of this thesis is design and analysis of database system development for personal agency, which provides brigade services for students. The system offers native support of common processes and employees within the agency. Moreover, the system includes integration into the web portal. The system is designed for being used by brigade applicants and companies offering jobs. The design of the system covers also the data interface to different information system and the user authentication based on the directory LDAP server technologies.
Associative recall of damaged data
Lukešová, Jana ; Štanclová, Jana (advisor) ; Mrázová, Iveta (referee)
The focus of this work are asociative memories as one type of neural networks. We compare models of asociative memories with respect to recall of damaged spatial patterns. We deal with three types of asociative memories: Hopeld network know also as standard associative memory, hierarchical associative memory and cascade associative memory. Based on dened comparison criteria, we test the models on test data. Comparison and evaluation of the models based on test results concludes our work.
Digital photography and Czech Internet
Budínková, Barbora ; Štanclová, Jana (advisor) ; Žemlička, Michal (referee)
This bachelor thesis is devoted to the area of the Internet photo labs. Nowadays these applications constitute one of the ways of mediating the transfer of digital photographs from the author to print. As digital photographs gain more and more popularity, the role of the Internet photo labs gains more importance. The aim of this thesis is an analysis of the photo labs that are currently available on the Czech Internet. This analysis will focus on the user's possibilities and on several aspects of the technical execution of the relevant web pages. An application which will try to improve current possibilities will be created according to this analysis.
Voice chat
Novák, Hynek ; Štanclová, Jana (advisor) ; Bednárek, David (referee)
VoiceChat is program intended for voice and chat communication between several computers with the Windows operating system. Command and chat messages are sent over the network using TCP protocol. Voice is captured and played by DirectSound and transferred with UDP protocol. GSM 6.10 codec is used to lower data transfer rate.
3D maze
Ružinský, Jozef ; Štanclová, Jana (advisor) ; Dokulil, Jiří (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to create a 3D action game based on the game Descent. The player will have to find his way through a maze. The maze will be created on each initialization of the game and will contain the right path to the end and even a number of blind ways. Computer controlled enemies will make the player's way more harder. There will be some items in the maze that will replenish the player's life and ammo.
Antenna Noise Temperature Calculation
Galuščáková, Petra ; Štanclová, Jana (advisor) ; Zvánovec, Jan (referee)
This work studies antenna noise temperature computation. The antenna noise temperature is calculated directly from its de nition. Thus, it is necessary to rotate the antenna radiation pattern. Euler matrix is used to rotate the radiation pattern. This work includes software for the antenna noise temperature computation. It calculates antenna noise temperature from the radiation pattern based measured or simulated data and from measured or prede ned environment noise temperature.
Detection of 2D features in MARSIS ionogram pictures
Pecka, Martin ; Štanclová, Jana (advisor) ; Surynek, Pavel (referee)
The work focuses on techniques for finding significant features in ionograms captured by the MARSIS instrument onboard the Mars Express spacecraft. Identification of these features helps in studying the ionosphere, magnetosphere and plasma surrounding Mars. Ionograms are 2D images with values represented in color. The goal of this work is to propose techniques to detect interesting curves (parametrically defined) in such images and to measure some more parameters of the found objects (like the repetition period of lines). During the research we managed to propose two methods very suitable for ionogram studies and we explored several other methods.
Decision Trees for Classification
Čechmánek, Jakub ; Štanclová, Jana (advisor) ; Štefka, David (referee)
There is a lot of approaches for data classification problems resolving. The most significant data classification methods are neural networks, Bayes nets, clustering, linear models, associative rules, etc. This thesis deals with decision trees which deserves attention of experts as well. Step by step are discussed C4.5, CART and SDT trees, a variant of classical decision tree inductive learning using fuzzy sets theory. Substantial part of work is devoted to pruning algorithms as well. Particular methods are examined and compared over freely available data sets of feature vectors with respect to stopping criteria, splitting criteria of a node and size of constructed trees. A summary of our own results is included.
Scrabble
Cipra, Jan ; Štanclová, Jana (advisor) ; Obdržálek, David (referee)
The aim of this work is to examine and implement algotithms and data structures suitable for Scrabble game. The most important data structure is the lexikon of legal words. The program allows human players to play against each oder or computer controlled players. Moreover, the players can play over network.
Handwritten character clustering
Novák, Jiří ; Štanclová, Jana (advisor) ; Mrázová, Iveta (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with comparision of di erent method for handwritten character recognition. A goal is analysis of this problem, comparision of several pattern classi cation methods and methods for feature extraction. In details there are discussed three algorithms for data clustering. These algorithms are following: k-means clustering, k-neighbors algorithm and algorithm of iterative optimalization. Another three algorithms are using neural networks. These are algorithm of competition learning, back propagation algorithm and Kohonen selforganising maps. These method are tested and compared according to percentage of correctly recognized characters. A summary of our own results is included.
