Purification of flue-gas desulfurization
Křesťan, Jan ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is theoretical elaboration of flue-gas desulfurization and emission limits of sulphur dioxide. Thesis is divided into three parts. First part is about content of sulphur in fuel, formation of sulphur oxides and their influence on human health and environment. Second part is dedicated to sources of sulphur dioxide, present emission situation in the Czech Republic and emission limits of sulphur dioxide. The third part describes methods how to reduce emissions of sulphur dioxide, especially methods of flue-gas desulfurization. The thesis is based on technical texts, Czech laws about air pollution and data from the Czech hydrometeorological institute.
Gas - steam cycle
Tóth, Richard ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis „Gas-steam cycle“ explains the cycle from technical point and then its application in economic terms. At the beginning is explaind how gas turbine work and its application in Czech republic and World. In practical part are for real Gas-steam cycle Power Plant in simplified way calculated basic parameters and efficiency in full operation and operating only with gas turbines. The end contains a design of Heat recovery steam generator.
Proposal for heating of family house
Pavlíček, Michal ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (advisor)
Family houses heating, depending on economic factors, is currently highly discussed topic. My work evaluates the possibility of heating such houses. The technical possibilities of model building and design of optimal heating sources are taken into account. The link of investment requirements and their return is also observed.
– Construction of large power plants for use of renewable energy sources in Czech Republic
Krátký, Lukáš ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Špiláček, Michal (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is researching possibilities of implementation of large renewable power sources in the Czech Republic. In concentrates especially on photovoltaic power plants, wind power plants, water power plants, and heating plants and power plants using biomass and assessment of the impact of renewable power sources on the stability of transmission systems. Among others it deals with long-term conception of power industry in the Czech Republic and the European Union. Nevertheless, the main part of the thesis focuses on an actual issue of exploatation of renewable sources under specific conditions of the Czech Republic. The problematic of the influence of renewable power sources on the stability of transmission grids and possibilities of strengthening that stability is reflected too.
Brown Coal Power Plants in Czech Republic
Šperka, Radim ; Šnajdárek, Ladislav (referee) ; Špiláček, Michal (advisor)
The thesis describes brown-coal power plants in the Czech Republic. The first part discusses brown coal as a mineral raw material, its mining in the Czech Republic, the impact of mining on the environment and ecological territorial limits.. The second part deals with the Thermo-dynamic working cycles in the power plant. Also deals with various technological parts of brown-coal power plant, including equipment and procedures for the cleaning of exhaust gases. The last part describes the most important individual brown-coal power plants in the Czech Republic, their brief history, the technical parameters and the planned service life.
Comparative study of PV and heat pump in domestic energy supply
Kiša, Michal ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the utilization of a heat pump and photovoltaic system on specific residential house. It clarifies the basic concepts of the heat pumps, photovoltaics and their application on a house. In the description of the house there are mentioned basic parameters, a description of the existing system. There are heat demands calculations for house heating and water heating, calculated according to the theoretical values and these are compared with the actual values. The practical part deals with the design of heat pump and photovoltaic system. Also there are assesses of the purchase prices, the operational costs and the following investment returnability in comparison with a fireplace insert with accumulation storage and an integrated electrical heating element.
Renewable energy sources for one-family house
