Constitutional development of selected Central European countries in 1945 - 1990 Abstract This diploma thesis deals with the constitutional-law development of selected countries of Central Europe, namely the development in the German Democratic Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany and Poland, from 1945 to 1990. The thesis captures significant changes in the field of constitutional law in these countries and tries to put them into the background of social events and moods of the time. After an initial outline of the social situation after the end of the Second World War, the work deals with the situation in post-war Germany, the division of its occupation zones including the circumstances that preceded the division, and then the emergence of political parties in each zone. The third chapter deals with the development in the Federal Republic of Germany. It analyses the establishment of the Basic Law and the Republic itself and describes in detail the constitutional framework formed by the Basic Law, not forgetting the occupation status and the general treaty. Raiffeisen's type credit cooperatives (so called kampeličky) in Královéhradecko in first half of 20. century

This bachelor thesis deals with Raiffeisen-type credit cooperatives from the selected region of Hradec Králové in the period from the beginning of the 20th century to the end of the Second World War. It describes the monetary and credit system in the Czech lands in general, and focuses on the credit cooperative segment itself since the first cooperatives were established. It also tries to define the economy of the selected area. The core of the thesis are the individual studies of the creation, development and activities of savings and backup associations in the designated area of Hradec Králové. Attention is paid to the organizational structure and personnel composition of the associations, the problems they encountered during their operation. In the conclusion, the work tries to provide an insight into the management and importance of credit cooperatives in the given time on the basis of the obtained data.

Local people's courts in Jablonec area Abstract The thesis Local people's courts in Jablonec area consists of two basic parts. The general part applies generally to the institution of people's courts, their ideological grounds, the local people's courts statute and it's interpretation, the problems of chosen institutes are connected to the people's courts statute and to the activities of these courts. In the special part consisted by the parts 2 - 4 focuses the thesis on the application and comparison of findings from the general part to experiences of concrete local people's courts in Jablonec area, precisely in the district of Jablonec nad Nisou. For the general part were as sources used mainly periodical monographs dedicated to the theme local people's courts and periodical articles in the specialized journals Právník and Socialistická zákonnost. The thesis is also based on contemporary articles, mainly from the L. Soukup's article. In the special part processes the thesis the accessible archival funds about concrete local people's courts kept in the State district archives in Jablonec nad Nisou and Most. Everyday life of the gendarme in Bohemia in the first half of the 20th century

This diploma thesis is focused on forms of everyday life of gendarmers in the first half of the twentieth century in Bohemia. The main goal of the thesis is to show the specifics of the gendarmerie profession in comparison with everyday life of normal population. The applied methods are based on established approaches of everyday life research and also on normative- comparative method. The historical sources come mainly from archive but the memoirs of gendarmers and members of their families were used as well. There are analysed gendarme service, their family life and leisure time and finally social and health care in three main thematic parts. The everyday life of married and unmarried gendarmers is researched separately (always in connection with gendarm service).

Development of game keeping law on Czech territory from the second half of 18th century to the present time

103 Summary This diploma thesis is focused on development of the game keeping law from the second half of the eighteenth century till the twentieth century. In the first part of the thesis, in order to provide a comprehensive view on the given issue, a summary of legal development of game keeping law before the year 1754 is outlined, including the oldest legal sources, beginning with "honební regál" issued by Boleslav I. and others. The period of the Thirty Years' War, during which a large downsizing of game ocurred, consequently servingas a basis for "Hunting order" issued by Ferdinand III. on 14th December 1641, prohibiting hunting for three following years and implementing a lot of protective measures, was not omitted. That part of this thesis demonstrates how the contents of gaming is subject to changes over time. At first, gaming was viewed as a sovereign's privilege, afterwards also aristocracy got to enjoy it. Later on, gaming began to include breeding and protection of game itself as well. The major part of the thesis is dedicated to modern laws. Firstly, game keeping law from the government period of Marie Therese and her son Joseph II. is introduced. NÁZEV DIPLOMOVÉ PRÁCE V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE Development of system and administration of tax duties in the Czech lands ABSTRACT The diploma thesis concerns the analysis of the evolution of the legal regulation of taxes and administrative fees, especially with their administration within the territory of the Czech Republic Selected few most important obligations, which the ruling class imposed on the population, are described. The evolution of taxes is mapped beginning with the 11th century, when the first states in the region of the current Czech Republic were forming (however, even earlier mentions can be found), and concluding with World War One, i.e. the end of the reign of the Hapsburg monarchy. The main focus of the thesis is to provide the analysis of tax obligations and their administration in the 19th century. The object of the research is the taxation system itself as a collection of individual taxes imposed on the population of a certain region, focusing only on certain taxes. Those were chosen using a criteria defined in the next part of the text. Confiscation in 1945 - 1948 - activities of extraordinary people's courts in individual regions Abstract This work discuses confiscation of immovable and movable property after the Second World War according to Decrees by President Edvard Beneš (The Beneš Decrees) and also retributive justice, which was executed chiefly by means of Extraordinary People's Courts, and which is also based on the standards created by the Decrees. The work contains interpretation of the Decrees and their implementary regulations, and also an excursion into the period of their preparation and origin, from which it is possible to infer the context and importance of some of the provisions of legal regulations, which the legislative text itself cannot provide. The work also contains a description of several specific cases heard by Extraordinary People's Courts, and also specific cases of administrative proceedings, the content of which was confiscation of movable and immovable property. Both post-war confiscation of property and retributive justice were a response to the events of the war (illegitimate transfer of property, war crimes committed against the population) and also a means to restore post-war Czechoslovakia. Establishment of the Ukrainian National Council in Presov, the role and representation of the interests of the Carpathian Ruthenians Abstract The establishment of the Ukrainian National Council in Presov has its historical and legal significance in the history of national minorities in Czechoslovakia. In the conditions of the liberated parts of Czechoslovakia, on 1 March 1945 in Presov is constituted a national- political body, which is to represent the interests of the Ruthenian-Ukrainian ethnic group, mostly in the north-eastern parts of Slovakia. The presented rigorous work examines the available factual data on the circumstances of the constitution, operation and subsequent activities of this national-political representative of the Ruthenian-Ukrainian minority in Czechoslovakia up to its definitive extinction. In the context of historical development, part of the work focuses on the historical context, which records the ethnogenesis of the Ruthenian- Ukrainian minority, the integration of the ethnic group into the state bodies, as well as the war conditions, which resulted in the loss of Czechoslovakia and the annexation of the Sub- Carpathian Russia to Soviet Ukraine.
