Stefan SCHOLZ Methodical study to the bilateral research project about mutual relationship of sacral architecture of the 13. century in the bohemian and austrian lands Abstract: To begin with the basic conditions for the interdisciplinarity and internationality of the whole research, and the necessity of a parallel survey on the profane level, will be defined. Then the main subject of the project will be linked to a wider context of the Central European integration processes in the early and high middle ages - from there results the necessity of secondary studies on Central European long term basic structures and framework developments from the 10th to the mid 13th century, as well as of historiographic context-studies to the reign of King Otakar Přemysl II. (1252- 1278). In this way the core the project will be defined: the forms of expression of the Central European integration processes in sacral and profane architecture and the settlement, urban, social and legal patterns in the bohemian, moravian, silesian and austrian towns, above all in the 3rd quarter of the 13th century. Balcony access house in the architectural and urban development of the city of Žižkov

v anglickém jazyce Abstract This thesis focuses on the type of balcony access house in the context of urban development of Žižkov. First, the development of mass housing in general is outlined, followed by the developement of the balcony access house itself, in which was considered also historical perspective of material and social environment of the Žižkov area. The core of the thesis is the analysis of the Žižkov balcony access house with aim to determine its specific features and to show how it get along with the increasing requirements for quality of living, how it has been adapted, as well as how the balcony access house had to retreat. The final chapter establish the impact of the balcony house to the genius loci of Žižkov and demonstrate its understanding on the arts of contemporary architecture. Maria Anna of Savoy and chateau Ploskovice

Annotation: The present thesis is dedicated to the former Czech queen and Austrian Empress Maria Anna of Savoy (1803-1884) and the location of her frequent visits, Northern Bohemia's castle of Ploskovice. Anna Marie and her husband Ferdinand V (1793-1875) chose the castle as their summer residence after the Emperor's abdication in 1848. In order to properly represent the dignity of the former ruler of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine, both outside and inside, it was necessary to adjust the palace significantly in quite a short time, which was successfully realised in the spirit of contemporary rococo style by Czech artists and craftsmen. The individual chapters of the thesis deal with the life story of Anne Marie and the changes of castle Ploskovice - its history, reconstructions, facilities and decorations, especially from the perspective of history of art.

Zavis cross from Cistercian abbey Vyšší Brod Abstract Zavis cross from Cistercian abbey Vyšší Brod Zavis cross has been the national cultural monument of the Czech republic since 2010. Not only is Zavis cross a great example of medieval goldsmith's art, but also a reliquary of particle of the Holy Cross. The reliquary cross was restored in the eighties of the last century, so today we can admire it in this form. The aim of this work is to collect existing results of artistic and historical research focused on the origin of this reliquary as well as to characterize artistic and craft processes of Zavis cross and with emphasis on used materials introduces its as a Splendor Mysticus-visibility eternal light of truth.
The functional development of the Dominican Sisters' Monastery with St. Ann church in the Old Town in Prague

The bachelor thesis describes changing of function of the church of Saint Ann, which is part of a monastery of Dominican Sisters on Anenské náměstí in Prague. This object is an example of varied exploitation of sacral spaces after church reforms of Joseph II. in 1880s. In the first part the author describes the process of the reforms and their influence on a set of chosen churches in the Prague's Old Town. Many of those churches underwent gradual change of their sacral function and started to be used for warehousing or accommodation purposes. In connection with the changes, the question of the new use of the churches and criteria for evaluation of these changes is given in the next part of the thesis. The author presents this issue on example of the development of church of St. Ann. Firstly, the history of the church and adjacent monastery until its cancellation in 1782 is presented. The following changes in the use of the church from the end of 18th century are described in the next part. In the recent time, the church is being used for the project The Prague Crossroads by Foundation VIZE 97.
History of restorations of the church of Mary Magdalene in Přední Kopanina

This thesis is concernet with Romanesgue church in the village of Přední Kopanina today in Prague 6. After analyzing interdisciplinary research object, this work presents as a preliminary point prehistoric and early middle ages settlement and history of the area's Přední Kopanina and not only from archaeological findings, but also to construction history and written sources. Will be followed a short overview of historical and of economic development the Church of Marie­Magdalena particulary and we will follow also the associated parish since its establishment at the church to decomposition stage, reconstruction in the 19th and 20th century until today. The main part VI will be devoted to the concruction development of the church in the 19th and 20th centuries. The scientific contribution of this work is to provide information authenticity of the core the value of the romanesgue church, which should be reflected in the docu­ mentation project. The form of the interior in Cluny and its subsidiaries monasteries in Burgundy

In my bachelor thesis, I will devote church architecture, interior Cluny III and his reflections in the daughter monasteries in Burgundy. For individual buildings is analyzed architectural solutions primarily broken down walls and vaulting. An important part is the history of the region, cultural and historical context monastery of Cluny, followed by the development of the monastery. The main part occupies the church interior Cluny III, broken down the walls of a church interior solutions vaulting of the main nave, typological layout plan. The form of the church interior of Cluny will then be compared with selected churches monasteries in Burgundy. Projection of Japanese inspiration in Art Nouveau interiors

Projection of Japanese inspiration in Art Nouveau interiors Bachelor thesis approaches the influence of Japanese motifs and design in residential interior design at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. Initially focused on the opening of borders between Japan and Europe in the 19th century. Designers are mostly inspired by Japanese woodcuts, asymmetries, flatness and new themes that the Western world had only slightly. A pioneer happened Aesthetic movement, which in the 60th and 70th of the 19th century were the first to use the Japanese elements, which are primarily reflected in the interior design and decorative objects. The emphasis in the thesis is on the most important sector of Applied Arts in interior design - furniture, glass, ceramics and textiles in the period 1890 - 1910.
