Trail-O as the means of integration of persons after spinal cord injury

Title: Trail-O as the means of integration of persons after spinal cord injury. Objective: The goal of the thesis is to describe the current situation of the Trail-O event and to highlight its utilization options for handicapped people. Methodology: The research group consists of 18 respondents, of which 10 handicapped and 8 persons without a handicap, 11 men and 7 women engaged in Trail-O. The research was conducted using a public inquiry, the investigation focused on the personal data and information about this sport. Data collection took place at the European Cup in Trail-O in September 2015 and electronically on the server www.survio.com. The data was evaluted by descriptive statistics, the absolute and relative frequencies. Results: Men are more engaged in Trail-O than women and approximately the same amount of handicapped as respondents without a handicap. 17 respondents has previous experience with other sports, 13 of them to the Trail-O received by previous operation of orienteering. The main motives for doing Trail-O are nature, people, the possibility of competition between the handicapped and the healthy as well as the possibility to contest on top level even with a handicap. Title: Comparison of general and specific training indicators of athletes included in the SCM system in cycling and triathlon (case study) Objectives: The thesis aim is to compare the capacity of training in general and specific training indicators of representative cyclists and triathletes in the junior category and in the category up to 23 years. Methods: We have used qualitative and quantitative methods in our thesis. Both general and specific training indicators have been processed in Excel program using the graph tools. Comparison between cyclists and triathletes through the conversion of triathlon kilometres to cyclistic kilometres has been portrayed using a line diagram. The analysis of training diaries and training indicators has also led us to search for the main differences in the training capacity of cyclists and triathlets. Results: We have found out that specific and general training indicators between cyclists and triathletes vary. Title The Safety of a Cyclist passed by car Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to identify by field research whether drivers abide by the distance of at least 1 m when passing cyclists or not. Furthermore to find out from the results of a survey whether previous experience of the drivers as a cyclist influences their behavior. Methods: As for the methods used in this study, field research and public survey had been conducted. Results: Drivers are respecting the passing distance at least 1 meter. The average passing distance, which was foundet out from the results of the survey, was 153 centimeters by the speed of 50 km/h. In conclusion of this thesis is that cyclists and non-cyclists have the same opinion of the passing distance between the cyclist and the passing car. Keywords: Cyclist, passing, safety, accident.
Achievement motivation in cycling

Title: Achievement motivation in cycling Aims: Main aim of this thesis was find out what motivates cyclists in achieving. I have used questionnaire LMI (Achievement motivation questionnaire) for cyclist on different level. Next step was comparing the results between all cyclists groups and describing main differences in motivation. Methods: For gaining all the data I used a questionnaire method. Questionnaires were spread in written form as well as in electronic form. I cooperated with the directors of amateur competitons in the Czech Republic, Czech Cycling Federation and other cyclistic unions. Respondent's answers were elaborated descriptively and analyticly by standardized statistics methods in software SPSS 17. Results: In the research were compared three cycling groups: Amateurs, Professionals and Hobby cyclists. In four of ten dimensions was confirmed different results in motivational structure. Results interpretation has shown that profesionals tend to trust in their success and dispose by biggest competition and ambition. The only dimension where amateur cyclists achieved significantly higher values opposite to professionals was in internality. Name A Project of Educational Bike Trail in Novohradske mountains Objective The aim of this work is to create project of Educational Bike Trail in Novohradske mountains and the associated creation of an information booklet for distribution of information centers in the region, creating web pages and also information boards via QR code. Methods In the first part of this work are collected and classified information processed form of research. There were used literature and internet resources. In the second part of the processed information is used to create information material to the cycling nature trail. This material was then validated questionnaire. Results The result of this work is to project the bike trail which includes the information brochure, the website, the trail's logo and information boards at each stop. Title: Methodological process of teaching orienteering during course of touristic and outdoor sports on UK FTVS Target: The target of this thesis was inovation of methodical manual for teaching orienteering during course of touristic and outdoor sports on UK FTVS. The pilot project was also verified in practice on several courses. Methods: Expert survey of pilot version, which has been tested on nearly 280 students. Questionary survey for teachers and external co-workers from department of outdoor sports. Interview and literature review in the compilation of methodical manual. Results: Inovated methodical manual for teaching orienteering during course of touristic and outdoor sports. Teaching was changed especially in the begining of teaching orientation, where practical excercises were included to learn basic skills such as map orientation, keeping direction of the approach, selection of approach and distance estimation. A great benefit is a use of an electronic system SPORTident, which not only enriches the practice, but also provides high-quality data for back analysis of a training or a race. Title: Origin and historical evolution of cycling discipline freestyle BMX Objectives: The aim of thesis is to devise comprehensive and structured work, which focused on the origin and historical evolution of cycling disciplines freestyle BMX. On the basis of available resources, particularly printed publications and internet resources involved in freestyle BMX, is created by a sequence of major events in the Czech Republic and in the world, which caused the origin and historical evolution of the discipline itself. Methods: At first will be used an analysis of all available information about cycling discipline freestyle BMX. It will be also used the methods used to process historical works. Results: It was found that first appearance of BMX was in the Netherlands in 1956. The official origin in the 60s of the 20th century is associated with the area of California in the USA. BMX has its roots in motocross, from which is also derived the name of BMX. The cycling sport BMX develops to independent cycling discipline freestyle BMX a few years later. Freestyle BMX belongs to extreme sports. Historical evolution of freestyle BMX is associated mainly with the California area. Freestyle BMX was expanding in the 80s of the 20th century to the Europe. Management of road cycling race

Title: Management of road cycling race Objectives: The aim of this work is to analyze the management of organization of road cycling race in the Czech Republic, with the following evaluation of the data and the recitation of concepts to improve the organization and competitions in our country. To create a project of national Championship in road cycling in the Czech Republic. Methods: There were used qualitative methods of descriptive analysis and interviews in my work. Descriptive analysis were used to evaluate the scientific literature on the matter, further processing materials of Czech Cycling Federation. The key data were provided by informal interviews with the organizers and competitors. Results: Based on an analysis of organizing road cycling race in the Czech Republic, my work provides recommendations for increasing their popularity and for better organization by moving to smaller cities in the closed circuits. Title: Project of Educational cycle trail in the Protected Landscape Area in Bohemian Karst Objective: The objective of this work was to create an Educational cycle trail in the Protected Landscape Area of the Bohemian Karst. The trail, natural and cultural attractions and other information process into guidebook which will be available at tourist information centers and on the Internet. Methods: Collecting and sorting information about the natural and cultural wealth of the region. Summarizing information in guidebook and creating a trail. Subsequent test the applicability of a booklet form of a questionnaire to a group of cyclists who created the route with the completed booklets. Results: The results of this work are two proposal of Educational cycle trail in the Protected Landscape Area of the Bohemian Karst, which are processed into guidebook that contains trail description, information about each trail and map material. The final form of the trail is also based on results of questionnaires and direct responses of testees. The guidebook can be offered to information centers in the area of Bohemian Karst or through them be available in electronic form on the Internet. Program differences of the summer camps of the selected non-profit organizations

Name of Thesis: Program differences of the summer camps of the selected non-profit organizations. Thesis objectives: The comparison of the program differences of four non-profit organizations was the objective of the research. Method: All data were found out through the questionnaire, which was send by email through the home organization. These data were analyzed and the conclusions were deduced from therm. Results: The research proved that the program differences are very insignificant at these organizations. Each detachment has its specifics and it prepares the camp by its way, but the final orientation and also course of games are very similar. It doesn't matter so many about the organizations, to which the detachments are included, but rather about the detachment itself.
