Expressing uncertainty of accurate lenght measurement II
Šrámek, Jan ; Pernikář, Jiří (referee) ; Koška, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is supposed to inform readers interested in the distance measurements uncertainty on practical issues connected with the solving of these troubles when utilising a frequently used calibration method - the Tesa NPL measure instrument. This measuring was implemented by the Czech Metrologic Institute, where the author works; therefore he could take advantage of his rich experience as well as experience of his superiors and colleagues. The author regards the national metrological institute (CMI) as a sufficient guarantee for the hereinafter presented materials, both regarding the professional qualification and from the perspective of formal rightness of this thesis.

Investigative Obsession By An Insignificant Theory, A Damn Fine Cup Of Coffee
Nytrová, Kristýna ; Šrámek, Jan (referee) ; Klodová, Lenka (advisor)
A wealth of information came to us through internet, with the desire to capture as many as possible we jump through pages and scroll so quickly so we can recognize in two milliseconds whether the information is interesting or not, therefore what remains is amount of unfinished ideas, unfinished sentences, unloaded images and unfinished videos. Open forms that are in constant variable motion. Set, we put together as a jigsaw that is missing parts, and yet reveals its image. In my work I am pulling out of the shards of memory in the form of associative reactions and promptly searched links that answers the question by another question. It is however only "response" which we can offer in contemporary world.

Format pilot episode. This is an animation software created three-dimensional environment.

Analysis of the competitive environment of colocation companies in the Czech Republic
Šrámek, Jan ; Molnár, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Bruckner, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis deals with application of Competitive Intelligence methods in market environment of colocation datacenters in the Czech Republic. The main objective is to analyze competitive environment of colocation datacenters in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of this thesis Competitive Intelligence and analytical methods are described. Typical colocation services including cloud computing are described. In the following part the topic of datacenters, their basic types and classification are discussed. Two related topics of outsourcing and Service Level Agreement are also mentioned. The practical part of this thesis is divided into three areas. The first area deals with development of the world datacenter market and discusses trends in the industry. The second area deals with the description of the market structure and analysis of the wider competitive environment of colocation companies in the Czech Republic. This competitive environment was analyzed using Porter five forces analysis. The third thematic area is dedicated to competitive analysis of six colocation companies operating on the territory of Prague. These companies were analyzed with the use of competitive analysis method. In conclusion there are given relevant resources in terms of Competitive Intelligence for the colocation companies that were analyzed in the final part of thesis.
Building and use of small computer networks
Šrámek, Jan ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
This paper deals with small local area networks. It describes types of network topologies. The paper also deals with network models and gives a brief review of basic protocols. Next part discusses Ethernet metallic network types and also wireless networks. Mentioning wireless networks it focuses on standards of signal transmission and instruments providing their security. Last theoretical part is devoted to active parts of local area networks. In the practical part of this paper are described instruments for building a home local area network and also suggestions for their improvement. This paper also deals with a small local area network with ten stations designed for enterprise usage. It also examines about choosing appropriate server for both environments. Last topic is building own home local area network. This network provides Internet connection and ensures network security through network server. Linux distributions are being briefly discussed, concretely distribution Ubuntu, which is installed on the network server. Work goes through basic configuration of the server, which provides basic functionality of local metallic and wireless network. In this part, link aggregation is being described. Server configuration also uses RAID technology. Some services are being provided by the server in the network, such as DHCP, FTP, Samba, basic configuration of these services is also included in this paper.
Creation of vertical surveying with using the program Atlas DMT.
ŠRÁMEK, Jan
The central theme of my dissertation is the introduction to the creation of a digital terrain model in the area of recultivation of Chabarovice former softcoal strip mine near Usti nad Labem, especially it deals with land slide area Rabenov. This area is monitored using geodetic and geotechnical methods since 2003 to declare the area to be stable which would allow its full planned utilization. This thesis is a part of the terrestrial and satellite measurements for staged, performed within the project MSM. As input data were used points located by Topcon total station TCN 2006. The aim of my dissertation is to create a digital terrain model of a large scale using the program DMT Atlas.
Medicinal plants, their fertilization and elicitors treatment with the aim of maximum production some active substance.
ŠRÁMEK, Jan
Echinacea purpurea belongs to adaptogenic plants containig pharmacologically active compounds. The most important parts of the plants for medical use are roots, but also aboveground parts are processed. The plants were grown in triennial precise small-parcel experiment using acetylsalicylic acid as an in vivo elicitor to increase the content of bioactive substances. The contents of cichoric acid, caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid and caftaric acid were assayed in roots, tops and flowers. Repeated application elicitors on leaves were conducted with three different concentrations in fortnightly intervals. Ethanol extracts from the plant samples were analysed by high performance liquid chromatography. The effect of the elicitor on the content of bioactive substances was statistically significant. The optimal concentration of the elicitor considering the content of bioactive substances in roots is the middle one. The effect of elicitor is year-dependent.
