Monitor for Wireless M-Bus
Baštán, Ondřej ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Šťastný, Ladislav (advisor)
The thesis proposes a battery-powered devices to monitor and record communications Wireless M-BUS. Work describes how the communication protocol M-BUS, and the related wireless communication protocol Wireless M-BUS and selection of appropriate hardware for the design of the equipment in question. Work also deals with the design and creation of firmware that matches the selected hardware and purpose solutions.
Control system for cantilever gates
Koždoň, Ondřej ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
In this bachelor's thesis is designed and in detail described a battery powered control system for wireless controlling swing gate. This system is designed as a small electronical system with necessary Inputs/Outputs (I/O) an Input for powering from solar cells and it is equipped with requisite software.
USB HID device notification
Janáček, Daniel ; Franek, Lešek (referee) ; Šťastný, Ladislav (advisor)
The objective of the thesis is familiarization with standard HID that is utilized by external USB devices, such as notificators. Moreover, another objective consists in choosing such a hardware device and in programming plugin collaborating with Miranda NG client. This device will mainly be instrumental in informing the user about incoming messages, emails and other events. Subsequently, it is defined creation of software additional item for the device, its design, description of particular functions and test concerning functionality of plugin.
Sniffer for power lines communication
Zapletal, Radek ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Franek, Lešek (advisor)
This work deals with the design and development of universal software packet analyzer for capturing, analysis and filtering Power-line communication (PLC). The input data are provided by hardware packet analyzer over RS-232 interface. The application will find use in the area of Smart Grids and Smart Metering. This work describes both of these areas including sniffers and suggests several possible solutions with a selection of the best one and description of the development process.
Authentication in Smart Grids
Janáč, Richard ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Franek, Lešek (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with the possibilities of authentication of service engineers for Smart Grid network devices. The aim was to select the most appropriate type of authentication security token. Therefore, we examined the main principals of cryptography and described the algorithms used in the security token. At the end of the paper, the main three types of security tokens are compared. Further, the paper evaluates their use in equipment for the implementation of Smart Grid networks and token selection for subsequent processing demonstration applications.
Implementation of a maintenance system in the manufactoring execution system COMES
Žilka, Filip ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with maintenance systems. In the beginning part of the thesis there is a briefly introduction to automation with a description of systems which are part of automation pyramid. The emphasis is on MES systems from which MES system COMES, developed by COMPAS company is described. The next section is an intruduction to maintenance with a description of information technologies in maintenance and commonly used systems of maintenance, installed in industrial companies. The very last section deals with own system of maintenance which was created as an extension in module COMES Modeller.
2D ultrasonic positioning
Junek, Jiří ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with the implementation and evaluation of measuring directional and omni-directional ultrasonic senzors. Control of ultrasonic senzors and computation of a distance is realized by using a microrontroller Arduino Duemilanove. The first part deals with the measurement of directional sensors, their wiring and subsequent processing of the measurement is performed in Matlab. The second part deals with solving of measuring and visualization 2D position omni-directional ultrasonic senzors, implementation trilateration algorithm for calculating x and y coordinates and comparison the used filters. At the end of this thesis also includes a comparison of directional and omni-directional ultrasound and evaluate their applicability for measuring 2D position.
Microcontroller based system equipped by light sensor
Judiny, Martin ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to develop and describe the concept sensor of lighting, controlled by microcontroller. In first part is theoretical evaluation of our task and in second part are developed schematic and PCB. Based on theoretical analysis has been chosen the most appropriate sensor.
Control of lab models using PLC
Vobejda, Lukáš ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This work deals with the control of lab models using PLC Rockwell Automation. As well as the use of CompactLogix, RSLogix 5000 programming environment, RSlinx Classic communication environment and software for process visualization such as FactoryTalk View Studio. The first part deals with the description of the models and their connection to a PLC environment. The second part describes and compares programming languages (ladder diagram, function block diagram and sequential function charts). The last part deals with the visualization of both models in FactoryTalk View Studio.
Home security system - base board power supply
Peša, Ondřej ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals requirements for alarm system power supplies and includes familiarization with the issue of charging lead-acid batteries and an explanation of the basic principle activity step-down switched – mode power supply. The main goal of this project was to design and implement a functional model of the power supply with lead-acid battery. The power supply includes a battery charger circuit, which when accompanied by a power failure back-up and circuit protects the lead-acid battery against deep discharge UPS is in normal operation continuously charged. The proposal was developed in the program for PCB design Eagle 6.1.0. Functional model was implemented in a single PCB, which together with the battery and transformer were placed in the box.
