The title of the thesis: Food supplements and their use by people attending fitness centers The aim of the thesis: The aim of the thesis is to collect information about food supplements and determine which food supplements are the most frequently used in fitness centers. The methods of the thesis: By the controlled interview to determine what types of food supplements are the most frequently used by people attending fitness centers. The results of the thesis: The majority of people visiting fitness centers use some kind of food supplements. Title: Riding like the movement relaxy activity Goals: Verification of the benefits of riding for human health in terms of metabolic effects on the muscular system and psyche. Method: Analysis of literature, motion analysis, observation, interview, deduction. Results: They give a comprehensive overveiw of the importance of riding on human health and confirm the facts cited in the literature. Results are focused on exploring the positive effect of riding on the human body in term of energy coverage, energy consumption, the effects on the muscular system and impact on the human psyche. Changes of selected parameters of potural stability and effect of shooting under model load in modern pentathletes

6 ABSTRACT Title: Changes of selected parameters of postural stability under influence of physical workload and shooting accuracy of modern pentathletes within combined event. Objective: Aim of study was to analyze influence of workload to postural stability and determine dependency between postural stability and shooting result. Methods: Study was carried out on the sample of modern pentathletes (6 male, 4 female), members of junior national team. Experimental design can be described as quasi experiment with time series. Changes of selected postural stability parameters have been observed during shooting from air pistol between running laps (3 x 1 km). As an output from shooting, pistol kinematics and shooting result have been used. We have used ANOVA as a main statistical tool for evaluation of data. As a measure of effect size we have used 2 . Results: Running workload on ANT significantly influences postural stability (p < 0.01, ω2 = 0.41), difference has been observed mainly between shooting without preceding run and after first run lap. Shooting accuracy has not been influenced neither by running workload on ANT nor by postural stability (p > 0.05, ω2 = 0.01). Conditioning preparation like a prevention from overloading body - parts in the modern pentathlon

Title: Conditional preparation as a means of prevention against muscle over- stretching during a Modern pentathlon training Objectives: This thesis comes up with an intervention program anteceding the muscle over- stretching of modern pentathloners. Methods: This thesis uses the quantitative analysis in order to mark out the the problematic body parts of the pentathloners. Six representatives of the Czech Republic figure in this analysis, as coordinated with a physiotherapist. Based on the results, verity of the hypotheses is stated and an intervention is proposed. Results: The most frequently misbalanced areas are: scapulohumeral group, ioins, m. piriformis, scapulae fixators, the deep stabilisation system and Achilles tendon. The conclusion of this thesis introduces an intervention programme that I wish to attest within my diploma thesis. It includes a set of compensational exercises for each discipline, including its quantity and its place within the annual training cycle framework. Title: Compensation possibilities of unilateral load in floorball. Objectives: Search and analyze the available informations from Czech and foreign sources for muscle imbalances and compensatory exercises in relation to floorball. Methods: The theoretic work processed by research of domestic and foreign literature. Results: This work gives an overview of what muscle groups are suffering most due to shortening and weakening of unilateral load while playing floorball, which is necessary to focus on training and offers some observations from practice, what is good in the training process to include and what does not.
