Synthesis of digital images sequence with moving object
Čermák, Jan ; Druckmüllerová, Hana (referee) ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with methods for synthesis of digital image sequence with moving object. At first, we describe basic concepts from Fourier analysis and statistics that are essential for understanding the issue and afterwards we describe methods for the synthesis that were tested on a series of images of a comet moving on a background of a night sky. Finally, we compare the methods and analyse the outcomes.
Solutions of inverse problems in the area of material and heat exchangers
Kůdelová, Tereza ; Nechvátal, Luděk (referee) ; Čermák, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the dynamic behaviour of the heat exchangers which is described by a system of differential equations. In this connection, it contains general informations about heat transfer, heat exchangers and their arrangements. The main aim of this thesis is to solve the inverse problem of the antiparallel arrangement and discuss the question of the controllability, observability and identifiability of its parameters.
Qualitative and numerical analysis of fractional differential equations
Zemčíková, Michaela ; Tomášek, Petr (referee) ; Čermák, Jan (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with fractional differential equations. One of the aims of this thesis is to mention summary of basic types of fractional differential equations. It is very difficult to find their exact solution, hence we will analyze the main qualitative properties of solution, which are stability and asymptotics. Part of the text will be devoted to fractional difference equations, i.e. discussion of numerical solution. At the end of thesis the Bagley-Torvik model will be described with respect to qualitative properties and numerical solution.
Progressive Device for Micro-Dents Generating
Sedlačík, Jan ; Čermák, Jan (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with an engineering design, a realization and a calibration of a apparatus for surface texturing of test samples. Microdents are produced by a diamond tool pressing. Electromagnetic linear actuator is used for pressing. Translation and rotation of the sample are secured by a couple of stepping motors. Thanks to this the apparatus can produce texture with well defined and easily controlled geometry. The diploma thesis contains a summary of surface texturing methods, designs of constructional variations, a electronic device of the apparatus and the calibration are also included.
The study of transition between fully flooded and starved regimes in EHL Contact
Popelka, Michal ; Čermák, Jan (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with The study of transition between fully flooded and starved regimes in EHL Contact. The work is focused on problems of starved contact and surface texturing of rubbing surfaces. Surface texturing of rubbing surfaces is one of the adjustments that cause in a sense improved lubricity and reduce friction and wear. The aim of this study is to compare numerical models with real experimental results measured on the Experimental apparatus.
Mathematical methods of optimal control theory and their applications
Research and development of bearings for traction motors
Prášilová, Alena ; Čermák, Jan (referee) ; Vrbka, Martin (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with construction design of cylindrical roller bearing for traction motor and design of life test tool for designed bearing. At the thesis beginning there is an overview of new trends in design of cylindrical roller bearing, according to new trends is designed a new construction design of cylindrical roller bearing. Other part of thesis is strain stress analysis, which assesses an optimal inclination of collar faces and optimal raceway modification of hybrid bearing rings. At the end life test will be analyzed.
Influence of topography of rubbing surfaces on rolling contact fatigue
Zahradník, Radek ; Čermák, Jan (referee) ; Vrbka, Martin (advisor)
This master thesis deals with influence of topography of friction surfaces on rolling contact fatigue. This influence is examined by newly reconstructed R-MAT station, whose reconstruction and fully report about it, is part of this master thesis. Influence is examined on area with higher surface's roughness which it wasn't examined before. Further research is made on area of surfaces with topographical modification with higher surface's roughness.
Test bench for analysis of energy recovery in experimental vehicle
Indruch, Jiří ; Čermák, Jan (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with design of an experimental test bench for recovery energy simulation at machines with hydrostatic energy transmission. This work describes choice of connection and selection of hydrostatic and other components. A first part of the thesis deals with calculation and design of the flywheel whose is its rotational kinetic energy corresponds in a certain scale to translational kinetic energy of the experimental vehicle. The thesis outlines the efficiency of transformation of rotational kinetic energy to pressure energy its accumulation and subsequent conversion back to rotational kinetic energy. Precise determination of the effectiveness of hydrostatic recovery is one of the objectives of experiments that will be implemented at the test bench. The task of the measurement and physical-technical analysis to be conducted at the manufactured test bench is primarily to obtain data at for the precise control of the hydrostatic energy recovery system to maximize its efficiency.
Surface texturing of rubbing surfaces
Chlachula, Petr ; Čermák, Jan (referee) ; Křupka, Ivan (advisor)
Surface texturing of rubbing surfaces represents the way how to increase tribological performances by improving the lubrication film formation and diminishing friction and wear. Its application in machine components requires detailed understanding of the mechanism taking place between rubbing surfaces in microscopic scale. This diploma thesis is focused on the processes taking place in tribology systems to consider the possibility of surface texturing applications in highly loaded machine parts operated under transient operational conditions.
