Mentally disabled people life duality improving

The subject matter of my dissertation is dealing with the probleme of life quality of mentally disabled people. Theoretical part of my dissertation defines basic concepts relating to mentally disabled people and deals with the topic of life quality. Following sentences are dedicated to providing social services legislation. The last chapter describes short history and present days of Nursing home for disabled people in Tloskov/DÚSP/. The practical part is devoted to treating my own observations, evaluations and commentaries.

The Pupil with Autism

The main subject for this diploma thesis is questions of integrating children with autism in mainstream basic schools. The aim of diploma thesis is to analyse current situation of integrated education of pupils with autism in mainstream schools in Central Bohemia Region. The analysis goes from the view of region coordinator for autism as a new institution responsible for coordination of counselling and educational services focused on clients with autism in region, and as a significant instrument for realization of the integration process. Partial aim of diploma thesis is focused on detection of factual experience of parents and assistant educators of integrated children, especially on disclosure of fundamental problems they often deal with in integration process. Diploma thesis would like to contribute to pedagogic practice in the field of integrating pupils with autism in mainstream schools by means of definition current problems to be solved in the future. The author regards survey results as initial domains of tasks that should be investigated in the following by means of quantitative research. Diploma thesis is divided into four parts. Sport as a Recreational Activity for Children with Mental Retardation

The diploma work refers to children with mental retardation, particularly is targeted to possible fulfillment of their leisure time with sport. In the first part of the work basic terms concerning the topic are defined. It depicts the specifics in development of children with mental retardation focusing on their motoric progress and development in motion competences. Exercising is introduced as an advantageous leisure time activity for children with mental retardation. In the second part some organized physical activities and sport games suitable for children with mental retardation in their leisure time are suggested. Proposed units target overall motoric progress and development in motion competences essential for mastering given sport games.

Different Points of View on Children Born with Mental Disabilities

My diploma work called "Various aspects on a birth of mental disabled child" ties together with my bachelor work, which I wrote at Evangelic Theological Faculty at Charles Univerzity. In this bachelor work I was interested in the basical rights of mental disabled people. I taught the topic of a right to live. The meaning of this question grows with the developement of new biotechnology as an artificial insemination, an antenatal diagnostics, a miscarriage and a gene therapy. The other important question talks about the mother rights. These questions traditonally pronounce physicians, philosophers, theologians and sociologists of medicine. However special pedagogues should as well think about and participate in discussions about this topic. Special education comes to the new period with currently knowledges of not only human genome. That is why I target the bioethic sphere, different opinions and possibilities of special pedagogue's treating. in my diploma work, because bioethic spere touch the special education. I come out from historical point of view, from attitudes formulated in our history and from society attitudes to disabled individuals. Educational Programmes in Rehabilitation Classes of Special Primary Schools

My thesis wil be focused on the problems with education of children with severe mental retardation in the rebahilition classes of the special primary school. The introduction will pay attention to the characteristics of the children with severe mental retardation, including the case report. Then there will be explicated the specifics of the rehabilitation classes; their organization and therapy. I will focus on the actual legislative regulations. The thesis will be aimed on education of the sensible pedagogy at the rehabilitation classes, expecially on senses tools usage mapping. As an outcome there will be an overview of some tools for senses perception progress, which turned out through tuition at rehabilitation classes, and further possibilities for their exploitation.

Existential Traumas and Possibilities for Solutions

The diploma thesis focuses on one of the most difficult factors of human life: facing a fatal situation, such as a personal loss and/or serious psychic problems. These situations fall into category of existential trauma. Firstly, the thesis deals with the existential trauma from a theoretical point of view. Examples of different types of crises and appropriate therapies are given. Most of them are well-known and documented, therefore more space have been given to two not such widespread approaches. Namely, The In-depth Aberactive Psychotherapy and The Return along the Trace of Time. The second part of the thesis is practical, consisting of five case studies. In the form of dialogue, the trauma of individual persons is introduced, followed by the description of particular solutions. First two clients have not undergone any therapy, the second two have solved their situation with the help of the two methods mentioned above. The last chapter of the thesis contains the comparison, summary and evaluation of all cases.

Raising the Quality of Life for Persons with Mental Disabilities in the Framework of Ergotherapy and Work Activities

My disertation work is oriented on a menthod of occupational therapy and its use in working with adullts with intelectual disabilities. In the theoretical partare delimited off basic concepts (fundamental concepts) pertaining people with intelectual disabilities. Additionally in the theoretical part I would like to take in some rudimentary existing information about an occupational therapy. In Additionally part I will audition test Dr. Giinzburg and my own test ADL in client DUSP Tloskov, to map their life and their working (occupationally) activities and effect (influence) working activities increment in quality their of life.

Integration of a Child with Phenylketon

Fenylketonurie je pro většinu lidí neznámým pojmem. Z výsledků průzkumu u rodičů dětí majících PKU vyplývá, že pouze jeden z dvaceti rodičů znal tento pojem před diagnózou dítěte. Po sdělení diagnózy v sobě rodiče objevují síly, které dosud nebyly využity. Je nutné na sebe vzít břemeno nových požadavků, nový režim rodiny, zvýšené finanční nároky, časové požadavky. Důležité je, aby si rodiče jednotlivě i společně utřídili a ujasnili vše, na co spoléhají, kdo nebo co jim může pomoci.
