Application of the PRINCE2 Methodology
Cagalová, Eva ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to improve onboarding project management by identifying the differences between PRINCE2® methodology and existing transition process of the company. Found differences will be the baseline for new proposals that should make the project management more efficient by cost and time savings. These proposals are intended to rise the level of client‘s satisafacion, which would lead to the possibility of receiving higher volumes of new projects.
Central control system of the smart house
Novotný, Jan ; Macháň, Ladislav (referee) ; Pavlík, Michal (advisor)
The work deals with building controlling system. It can be divided into three parts. First part describe general theory of smart houses. Second part analysing the task. Last part is realization about.
Absorption heat pumps for small applications
Pejcl, Jiří ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor work is focused on absorption heat pumps for small applications. The aim of this work is to compile the basic differences between compression heat pumps and absorption heat pums. And also to propose the system with absorption heat pump, which is energeticly classified in the end of the work. In the opening part there is the constructional description of these heat pumps, there are explained basic principles of these mechanisms. Then you will find the comparison of absorption heat pumps and compression heat pumps. Next fraction is concerned with design of the system with absorption heat pump. There is the system with absorption unit designed - this unit enables to heat and to cool. And also with solar system, which will support the heating process of supply water. Final part is applied to energetic evaluation of designed system, for purpose of this evaluation are made basic counts of required energy.
Impact of Drivers' Working Regimes in Freight Road Transport on Transport Safety
Máša, Vojtěch ; Novotný, Jiří (referee) ; Libertín, Josef (advisor)
Working arrangements are restrictive limits for drivers important for both motor carriers and drivers. Have a major impact on the logistical arrangements of manufacturing companies that transport their goods by road. Failure to comply with these limits, is recently one of the major problems in road transport and leads to unfair competition between road hauliers. Carrier's failure to obtain such social legislation crucial competitive advantage. Recently the problem devoted much time from the perspective of politicians. States, violations of social legislation by the carrier and the driver severely punished and often the articles we read on the operating modes of drivers and their associated hazards of freight transport, road safety hazard, danger for drivers of cars. For 10 years devoted to the issue and participate in the creation of training materials on the subject of Logistics and. In my work I wanted to examine the issue of working arrangements drivers from professional point of view - how the limits are set and working arrangements whether they comply with road safety. Next, consider the statistics of accidents in the CR in relation to drivers' working arrangements and to propose changes that would contribute to the improvement of social legislation in relation to road safety.
Electrical installations in apartment building
Novotný, Jan ; Formánek, Marian (referee) ; Doležalová, Jana (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with electrical wiring in apartment building. The aim is to describe the types of distribution networks, implementation possibilities of service lines, describe the individual parts of the wiring in the building and the principles of their implementation. Further describe basic electrical materials and to explain the design of artificial lighting. In the practical part the information applied to a particular apartment building, together with the calculation of the estimated annual energy consumption of flats. For the apartment building project is created in the form of engineering report and drawings.
Restoration of ponds in Moravia
Drašar, Zdeněk ; Novotný, Jaroslav (referee) ; Milerski, Rudolf (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on the history of pond building from the begining of first settlement on the territory to the current state. In the first part is the work focused on the history of pond building generally and with available resources on the specific situation in Moravia. The second part addresses the modern pond building and fish farming in 19th and 20th century. The next section is devoted to the current state of building of the ponds and possibilities of renewal of lost ponds. In the last section is solved posibility of recovery specific area in the range of theoretical studies.
Apartments rent in Olomouc and the factors influencing them
Novotný, Jaroslav ; Weigel, Lubomír (referee) ; Uhlová, Eva (advisor)
This diploma thesis examines market rents of flats in the town of Olomouc. It probes the condition of the local real-estate flat rent market and it assesses which factors affect the price the most. That is achieved on the basis of data of realized rents gathered via questionnaire and complemented with the supply real-estate prices. The data are sorted into four categories (1+1 a 1+k, 2+1 a 2+k, 3+1 a 3+k, 4+1 a 4+k) that are mutually compared and analyzed with textual, table and graphic output. In the theoretical part of this work, the research is supported with juridical and economical definitions, which appear on the real-estate flat market. The work then states the specifics of real-estate market and comments on the changes in the new civil code of law. It also gives a brief overview of the basics of the housing policy theory.
Application of overvoltage protection in LV networks
Knebl, Jan ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This paper describes the design of surge protection for objects of civil construction. The aim of this paper is to acquaint the reader with the problems of this region, which is nowadays especially for houses neglected. The introductory part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical analysis of the problem and become familiar with the standards in force, without which a person moving in this field certainly can not do. In the first major section is a repartition surge in general terms. In the second chapter, a repartition of surge protection on the inside and outside and a description of the individual components of these protections. The third chapter is made complete design protection for the school building, the first step is an analysis of the risks to unprotected building, then the protected and ultimately design of internal and external surge protection. In the last chapter, a check is made of the risk analysis using DEHN Support.
An Arrhytmia Classifiication Based on RR Interval
Novotný, Jiří ; Škutková, Helena (referee) ; Kozumplík, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with automatic classification of cardiac rhytm based on the sequence of RR intervals. The theoretical part deals both with characteristics of arrhytmias, which have been classified and the principles of the detectors and classificators used in this thesis. In the practical part, the QRS detector based on the calculation of the envelope of the ECG signal was realized in Matlab. Furthermore, the algoritm classifying arrhytmias based on the analysis of RR intervals was created. The reliability of the detector and the efficiency of the classificator was tested on the standard database CSE. The sensitivity of the detector was 98,28% and its positive predictive value was 98,38%. The diagnoses of the implemented classificator concurred in 73,17% with the cardiologists‘ diagnoses.
Negative-Phase-Sequence Protection of Generator
Babík, Peter ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the effect of unbalanced load on a generator and principles of its protection. At first the characterization of operating failures and generator's abnormalities are described. Further the analysis of unbalance in electric system and its effect on the generator is presented, especially the effect of negative phase sequence on the armature. The end of the theoretical section deals with the principles of unbalanced load protection. In the practical part the punctual characterization of used apparatus is presented, namely the machine terminal REM 543 and a tester Omicron CMC 353. Furthermore the individual settings of each apparatus are discussed along with the testing of chosen negative phase sequence protection.
