Křížová, Eliška ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Mahrová, Andrea (referee)
Title: Fitness and compensation exercises in dancesport Objectives: The aim of this thesis is proposing and including fitness and compensation exercises into the dancers' training regime in order to enable them to increase their physical condition, improve their health, and reduce the risk of injury. Methods: Case study monitoring a group of four dancers aged 23 to 26. Using kinesiological analyses and measurements to diagnose health complications, contracted and weakened muscles (according to Janda), and propose the ideal intervention programme to reduce their occurrence. An online survey to which 230 people responded was used as a support method to gather more information on the training habits and health condition of sport dancers in the Czech Republic. The proposed intervention programme was applied to the probands in between the initial and control kinesiology analyses. Results: The insufficient education of sport dancers in the area of sport training, regeneration and compensation exercise was confirmed. The expected weakening of the deep stabilising spine system was confirmed with 100% of the probands. Also found with the probands were contracted muscles, muscle dysbalance and Trigger Points caused by the character of dancesport. After the 3-4 month long intervention programme, the visible...

Functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system on individuals after kindey transplantation
Školová, Lucie ; Mahrová, Andrea (advisor) ; El Ali, Zaher (referee)
Title: Functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system on individuals after kindey transplantation Defining of the problem: Renal transplantation is a method to treat patients with renal failure, which is associated to a prolonged survival of patients compared to a dialysis method (Viklický et al., 2008). After a successful renal transplantation the renal function is restored and complications caused by dialysis treatment disappear . However, complications due to the transplant, not only in terms of surgical intervention, but also from the point of a lifelong immunosuppressive therapy remain at risk. Functional changes on the locomotor system can occur as a concequence of a long-term renal disease or kidney transplant. This could further reduce the quality of life on patients due to self-sufficiency, being the main role of the locomotor system. Objectives: The aim of this study is to valuate functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system on individuals after kindey transplantation up to one year after a transplant. Methods: This thesis is elaborated in the form of an analytical - experimental study in which 2 groups of selected individuals were tested. Testing was conducted by using suitable tests focused on functional disorders of the locomotor system and parameters in each group and time...
Muscle metabolism and its effect on physical condition in patients with chronic renal failure receiving hemodialysis
Brůhová, Zuzana ; Mahrová, Andrea (advisor) ; Táborský, Petr (referee)
Title: Muscle metabolism and its effect on physical condition in patients with chronic renal failure receiving hemodialysis Objective: Assess the status of muscle metabolism in patients starting hemodialysis and patients receiving hemodialysis long time, to determine some changes in muscle metabolism in both groups in the time period and ultimately assess its impact on physical condition and quality of life of hemodialysis patients. Method: Fill anamnestic questionnaire and examination of body composition using bioimpedence device (BCM) in the group of patients with chronic renal failure who are beginning to be treated with hemodialysis and a group of patients treated with hemodialysis for several years. Compare the results of both groups. To obtain additional information from medical records. Results: It was found that hemodialysis therapy affects the status of muscle metabolism in terms of reducing muscle mass (LTM). The dependence of LTM, however, the duration of hemodialysis treatment assays. The study showed that if patients are nutritionally stable and regularly engaged in some physical activity, loss of muscle mass is lower than in individuals who have a passive way of life. Keywords: chronic renal failure, hemodilysis, muscle metabolism, physical condition
