Smugalová, Zuzana ; Gremlicová, Dorota (advisor) ; Lössl, Jiří (referee)
This master thesis surveys historical development of non-professional art of dance in the Czechoslovak Socialistic Republic during politically complicated era after the Second World War. It follows trends of scenic dance and dance education, initially influenced by social realism and subsequently by the arrival of jazz and modern dance techniques. It summarizes facts about organisational provision of non-professional activities in the field of art, including the system of displays, festivals and competitions. It brings an outline of the state of dance education in the area of spare-time activity. Thus it allows to look into the era that is stigmatized by today?s prejudice caused by the same black and white vision for which the era itself had been noted.
Movement - One of the Essential Elements of Actor´s Expression
Milková, Svatava ; Lössl, Jiří (advisor) ; Hojtašová, Jaroslava (referee)
This thesis discusses a relation between a dance art and a theatre art, particularly the case when dance is used in a theatre performance. Above all it is focused on reasons of this use and a bilateral effect of a dance and particular theatre components. Extensively I deal with principles of the work with a dance component in an actor?s expression, what is mostly connected with the department I study. The final part proceeding from my practical experience is an analysis of dance scenes from the theatre performance Zazie v metru (Zazie in the Underground), which we presented as students of the Department of alternative and puppet theatre DAMU in the season 2005/2006 in Prague theatre DISK.

Ovlivňuje širší využití hry v roli v taneční průpravě autentičnost projevu dětí a mládeže?
