Wireless access system
Sekyra, Jaroslav ; Honzík, Petr (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes practical realization of entrance terminal, which enables transmission of data thanks to radio module ZigBee PAN4551 and Ethernet module Rabbit RCM3200. This entrance system uses Mifare RFID cards, with whose user will identify at the entrance terminal of the guarded object. Data are sent to server station by radio module ZigBee or Ethernet module Rabbit during demand of entrance. The database of all entrance rights of all users is stored on this server. Data system works up received data and sends them back to the terminal. One part of these data is the information about enabling of user entrance. The database system makes a list of passing through users. In the first part of this work whole conception of entrance terminal is suggested. Then basic demands of each block are described in details as well as their placement in guarded object. Next chapters describe basic function of terminal, electrical scheme, and system of power supplies for the access system. Also individual hardware components are chosen and described. In the on of the last chapter there is flow-process diagram of main loops for individual variants of terminal and interrupts functions from timer, serial link and external input from radio network MC13193 drawn. In the last chapter there is a show of server data application “AccessServer” and his basic description.
Dynamic Time Warping for Vehicle Classification
Halachkin, Aliaksei ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the dynamic time warping. During the work was written C/Python library. Using this library, the algorithm was subsequently applied for the vehicle classification based on their shapes. Testing had been performed on real data from a laser scanner. Then the algorithm had been compared to the correlation and Euclidean distance. Finally, laboratory model had been created, which demonstrates vehicle recognition using dynamic time warping.
Unsupervised learning
Končinský, Petr ; Sáblík, Václav (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the (diploma) thesis was to identify problems of unsupervised learning. At first I focus on the most essential parts of unsupervised learning. One of the most fundamental parts, on which the project is focused on, is cluster analysis. I give a detailed description of cluster analysis and the final product is a single program which was programmed in C++ language. At analysis I describe tasks with particular variables which I use to run various mathematical operations. At metrics which belong to the most important part of cluster analysis I am concerned with mutual similarity relations between objects and I compute their inter-cluster distances for other clusters. Furthermore, I do not omit other methods belonging to unsupervised learning, principal components analysis and factor analysis are not less important. In my project I attempted to do a survey of methods which are involved in machine learning, in our case in unsupervised learning.
Plagiarism Detection
Kobath, Martin ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The Bachelor‘s thesis concentrates on plagiarism detection in written text, mainly final theses in author’s Alma mater. The current situation of automatic plagiarism detection of text in czech language is evaluated and a theoretic analysis directed on classic detection by finding matches in a text with use of external sources, mainly the internet, is made. Project ends with custom concept of automatic plagiarism detection system and with an experiment made on 100 randomly chosen theses from The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication.

Feature Selection Based on Combination of Uncorrelated Evaluation Functions
Vaculík, Karel ; Klusáček, Jan (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
In order to process large amount of data, it is necessary to use computers. It is possible to use statistical methods or machine learning in some cases. In either case, data can be represented with large number of features. Selection of suitable subset of features can be crucial for efficient processing. This thesis explores a subgroup of feature selection methods which are called filter methods. Comparison of such methods is carried out and the results are used in the design of a new method. This new method uses a combination of existing methods.
Comparison of accuracy achieved by traditional models and ensemble methods
Zapletal, Ondřej ; Klusáček, Jan (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with empirical comparison of traditional and meta-learning models in classification tasks. Accuracy of 12 RapidMiner models was statistically compared on 20 data sets. Second part of this thesis consists of description of self-programed application in programing language C#, which implements 6 different models. Four of those are compared with equivalent models of program RapidMiner.
Design and implementation of control software libraries for fiber characterization
Specialized Joystick Interpret for RDS
Muzika, Dávid ; Burian, František (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The main subjects of this bachelor thesis is implementation of specialized joystick interpret in environment Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio. The work describes environment of Microsoft Robotics Developer Studio and also described in more detail the simulation part the Visual Simulation Environment. The work propose several specialized interpreter for the passage of the maze. As a result, work is evaluated by experiments with universal and specialized interpreter.
Traffic Simulator
Kučera, Lukáš ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Honzík, Petr (advisor)
The object of the bachelor’s thesis was to study a code of a traffic simulator TRASI, to find causes of a malfunction in giving way at the crossing and to fix these causes. Several methods of solution were suggested and one was selected and implemented into the simulator (the priority mask system). The solution’s functionality has been tested on three simple model situations. On a crossing with a main road, on a crossing with a right road priority and on a crossing with traffic lights. The design of these situations is as well the part of the bachelor’s thesis. Then there is a brief manual for the simulator, both for users and the following programmers, in the thesis.
