Non-specific Back Pain Syndrome and the Effect of the Exercise of the Deep Stabilising System on it. AIMS: The aim was to verify the effect of the specific exercise programme (therapy of the vertebral column stabilisation system) on the soreness, body control and qualitative activation of the muscles of an individua! with non-specific back pain syndrome. METHOD: The experimental sample consisted of seven female individuals ranging between 26 and 50 years of age. The individuals in the sample were subjected to a kinesiological examination and examination of their deep stabilising system. The body control was evaluated by the methods of Klein, Thomas and Mayer, the pain was measured by visual analog scale. The examinations and the application of the exercise programme took place between 4-5 weeks. The exercise was carried out individually in a home environment. RESULTS: All individuals in the sample experienced a significant reduction in the intensity of pain experienced, and the exercise resulted in the activation of the deep stabilising system. Zjistit jakým nejčastějším zdravotním problémům musí tyto ženy v těhotenství čelit. Na základě všech získaných informací sestavit cvičební jednotku pro ženy s míšní lézí v těhotenství. Metoda Vhledem k charakteru tématu, kterým jsem se zabývala a počtu analyzovaných dotazníků, jsem použila metodu výzkumu kvalitativní. K výzkumu jsem použila dotazníků, rozhovorů a pozorování. Na jejich základě jsem vyhodnotila souhrnné výsledky a dále přidala případové studie jednotlivých žen. Výsledky Výsledkem mého výzkumu bylo zjištění, že většina žen s míšní lézí se během těhotenství setkává s většími zdravotními potížemi než v období, kdy těhotná nebyla. Quality of life and physical activity in patients after acute myocardial infarction at a young age Quality of life and physical activity in young patient's after acute myocardial infarction OBJECTIVES: First Assess HRQOL in patients after acute myocardial infarction at a young age (ie men who had undergone AIM aged 45 years and in women who have undergone AIM aged 55 years) in the Czech Republic with a small pilot file. Second Determine the level of regular physical activity in patients after acute myocardial infarction at a young age in the Czech Republic with a small pilot file. METHOD: 24 patients invited to ambulatory monitoring after acute myocardial infarction at a young age, completed the SF-36 questionnaire and the IPAQ. Additional data were obtained from standard medical documentation. The data were analyzed using a defined evaluation criteria and individual questionnaires using standard statistical methods. RESULTS: Patients suffering from AIM at a young age, we found a reduced quality of life, mainly in the area of physical components. On the contrary, regular physical activity is relatively high. Education of physical activity in patients with DM 2nd type

3 Abstract: Title of the thesis: Education of physical activity in patients with DM 2nd type Object of the thesis: To describe methods of education in patients with DM 2nd type of medical specialization and identify selected success of this education on the number of regularly exercising patients. Methodology: The work was conceived as a questionnaire survey. Sample consisted of 250 doctors chosen specialization (diabetologists, internists, general practitioners). Condition for selecting was practice in diabetes. Due to return 65% of the results are processed on a set of 152 doctors (75 diabetologists, 42 internists, 35 general practitioners). Respondents answered 19 questions prepared. Results: Results showed a prevalence of patients with type 2 diabetes in the upward trend and in the epidemiological character of this lifestyle disease, which is caused by changes in the lifestyle. Although doctors understand the importance of physical activity as the basis for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, questionnaire results showed a poor rate of success in the education towards physical activity. Changes in blood pressure during group remedial exercise in cardiac patients

3 Title of the thesis: Changes in blood pressure during group remedial exercise in cardiac patiens Objektive: The aim of this thesis was to describe the changes in blood pressure during remedial exercises. Method: There were 11 females participating in the study, all of senior age and suffering cardiovascular conditions. The exercise unit was intentionally selected to suit treated cardiac patients. The blood pressure readings were taken during the one-hour exercise units at Motol Faculty Hospital. Mercury tonometers were used for the measurements and readings. Results: During the exercise, average systolic blood pressure readings ranged between 137,73 mm Hg and 183 mm Hg, (± SD 28,99) ,diastolic blood pressure ranged between 85,91 mm Hg and 100,45 mm Hg, (± SD 18,88), and pulse rate was between 69 and 77. In four of the tested subjects the systolic blood pressure exceeded 200 mm Hg during the exercise. The highest blood pressure readings were taken when lying down, after a dynamic warm-up, and during lying on the back while moving one leg vigorously. Nutritional value of breakfast of older school-age children

Subject: Nutritional value ofbreakfast ofolder school-age children Background: The aim ofthis study is to summarize child-age obesity issue, nutrition customs and physical activities ofchildren. Author deYeloped, on the base ofspecialized publications and published works, own questionnaire. This questionnaire was applied to a group ofchildren to observe nutritional value ofbreakfast and social factors ofobesity development in older school-age children. Methods: A group of grade school children ofage 13 to 15 was assessed. In total 300 questionnaires were handed out, 229 were returned and suitable for further processing. Results: Most grade school children do eat breakfast regularly. However, in most cases composition oftheir breakfast is quite inappropriate. A large group of 13-15 year old children dislike their figure and desire to lose weight despite age-appropriate proportions. Social environmental factors did not prove to be significant in overweight and obesity development. Key words: obesity, nutrition, breakfast, physical activity, children.
