Graphical Design Tool for HTML5 Applications
Sabovčik, František ; Klicnar, Lukáš (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on design and implementation of a tool for graphical design of HTML5 aplications drawn on Canvas. The editor helps to create user interface visually with positioning, transformation and grouping of image sprites and export to target aplication. The work describes process of development of this tool, involving description of solved problem, exploration of theoretical informations, design and implementation of final product. Feedback of potential users is described in the end of the work, evaluating success of solving defined requirements.
Mobile Application for Visualization and Control of Water Management Structures
Švancer, Jan ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a method of the universal displaying of data from automated water management structures on mobile devices. The development is realized along with the company Speco Control s.r.o., which conducts these automations. The final application is tested and used in actual operation. The crucial part is the draft of the universal structure of database, thanks to which it is possible to display the data. Currently a made-to-measure dispatcher's program for PC is being develop for every object.
Tajmlajn.cz - Web Service for Goal Planning
Dovičovič, Michal ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a web application which is intended for planning and leads to achievement of goals. The application allows to search for friends in this service and mutually support each other on the basis of achievements. Users can also communicate with their supervisor or make an appointment for a consultation. This service is based on AngularJS, jQuery frameworks and its server side is implemented in PHP. Thanks to the responsive design it is also possible to browse the pages via mobile devices.
Road Sign Detection from Camera in Car
Dušek, Jan ; Sochor, Jakub (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on detection of traffic signs from image or video. Algorithms common for object detection will be introduced in the beginning. Description of object detection using histogram of oriented gradients and support vector machines will follow. Last part will present accomplished results.
User Interface for Robot Control in Object Grasping Task
Manďák, Roman ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor work is focused on design and implementation of the user interface (UI) for the control of a robot during grasping objects. Common devices as well as the less ordinary ones were used and compared for capturing user gestures of various types. The work includes an in-depth analysis of the devices which are used in robotics, a description of existing solutions which serves as a ground for application design, and rules for creating the UI. Further are described design, implementation, the experiments with the application which were conducted, and in the end the result of the comparison of control devices.
Semi-Automatic Image Segmentation
Horák, Jan ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This work describes design and implementation of a tool for creating photomontages. The tool is based on methods of semi-automatic image segmentation. Work outlines problems of segmentation of image data and benefits of interaction with the user. It analyzes different approaches to interactive image segmentation, explains their principles and shows their positive and negative aspects. It also presents advantages and disadvantages of currently used photo-editing applications. Proposes application for creating photomontages which consists of two steps: Extraction of an object from picture and insertion of it into another picture. The first step uses the method of semi-automatic segmentation GrabCut based on the graph theory. The work also includes comparison between application and other applications in which it is possible to create a photomontage, and application tests done by users.
Recognition of Objects and Gestures in Image
Johanová, Daniela ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is focused on gesture recognition in video. The main purpose of this thesis was to create an algorithm and an application that can recognize selected gestures using a~video obtained through a~standard webcamera. The intention was to control an application program, such as video player. The approach used to achieve this goal was to exploit methods of feature extraction, tracking, and machine learning.
Real-Time Object Tracking in Video
Šimon, Martin ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on real-time visual object tracking with emphasis on problems caused by a long-term tracking task. Among theses problems belong primarily an occlusion problem, both the partial and the full one, and appearance changes of the object during the tracking. The work is also concerned with tracking objects of a very limited size and unsteady camera movements. These two particular problems are relatively common when tracking distant objects. A part of this work is also a summary of related work and a proposal of a system with high qualitative stability and robustness to problems mentioned. The proposed system was implemented and the evaluation demonstrated that it is capable of solving these problems partially.
Graphical Interface for Board Games on Android Platform
Kasper, Valter ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
This work presents a design and implementation of graphic user interfaces for board games. The objects of the investigation were various types of board games and graphic effects for virtual board game scene. We have developed a user interface design for different games. In the following sections the OpenGL ES library and its application to the Android platform are characterized. We explored the possibility of implementation in the native code. We have developed a system for plug-ins that allows implementing game logic in scripting language and defining the virtual scene for board game in XML language.
Tajmlajn.cz - Web Service for Achieving the Objective of Planning and Risk Prevention
Ludwig, Jakub ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This thesis describes the development of Tajm-lajn, application for effective and simple time planning in small business. The work contains detailed description of all development stages and user testing and in the conclusion it tries to summarize achieved results and future development of Tajm-lajn project.
