Usage of artificial inteligence in legal services
Hudík, Lukáš ; Beran, Karel (advisor) ; Ondřejek, Pavel (referee)
1 The usage of artificial inteligence in the legal practice Abstract This thesis deals with the phenomenon of artificial intelligence and its use in the the legal practice, as well as its impact on the related legal profession. The main objective of the thesis was to evaluate the current regulation of artificial intelligence at both the general and professional level in this country and around the world. Artificial Intelligence, or better said, the artificial intelligence system, is undoubtedly a topical and widely discussed topic that has rapidly come into the public consciousness in the last three years and has the potential to change the current majority of economic sectors as we currently know them. Its media coverage and often deliberately offensive article headlines, however, have often led to questions such as "won't I lose my job because of AI", even in professional circles? "Why should I use AI?" Thus, the main methodology used in this paper is empirical research into the AI systems phenomena, and the subsequent application of the findings to existing AI-based legal tools. I will thus attempt to answer the question of whether AI is a threat or rather an opportunity for the future of advocacy, and how it should be approached. The thesis also deals with related issues, i.e. phenomena such as forum...
Waste to energy in European Union
Klučka, Ivan ; Šomplák, Radovan (referee) ; Ferdan, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused to waste to energy in the European Union. To the legislation applicable in the European Union in this thesis are summarized aspects of the member states in the field of energy recovery in terms of capabilities, technologies, etc. In this thesis is prepared an overview of the largest suppliers of technology and comparing the efficiency of energy production.
Machining on a universal milling machine equipped with a divider
Luňáčková, Nikola ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with milling using a dividing device. The aim is to acquaint with the technology of machine milling, its kinematics, machines, tools and about the use of a dividing device. The theoretical part deals with machine milling on a universal milling machine equipped with a cutting device and milling using CNC machines. The practical part compares these two types of milling using a product made on a CNC milling machine and a machine universal milling machine equipped with a cutting device, using the same tool diameters.
Evaluation of machine efficiency for production task assurance
Harnová, Veronika ; Jelínek, Adam (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The diploma thesis concerns evaluation of machinery efficiency in selected production department. The theoretical part briefly describes production management and theoretical methods of OEE evaluation. The thesis also discusses selected IT systems utilised in engineering. The main body of the thesis analyses data acquired from those IT systems. The conclusion outlines proposals for improvement.
Adding value to waste material - eggshells
Zlámal, Filip ; Pernica, Marek (referee) ; Brummer, Vladimír (advisor)
The submitted thesis deals with the utilization of waste materiál – eggshells and the evaluation of this waste raw material to obtain interesting and valuable products. In the introduction of the thesis are described properties, composition and structure of the eggshell rich in minerals and the composition of its membranes. In the next part of the thesis is evaluated potential utilization of this waste as a fertilizer, adsorbent, possible uses in medicine and pharmacy, utilization in electronics, as a catalyst in the production of biodiesel and its further uses.
Augmented reality and its use
Ibehej, David ; Holoubek, Tomáš (referee) ; Hůlka, Tomáš (advisor)
Augmented reality is one of the most developed technological areas. It corresponds with the fact, that we hear more and more about it and therefore it needs to be considered for the future. This bachelor thesis attempts to provide brief research in topics of its definition, history, current usage, shortcomings and options in the field of game engines and developer tools. In second part it demonstrates possible utilization in industry providing the solution of mechanical component projection and interaction.
Jumping Finite Automata and Transducers
Hrubý, Juraj ; Burgetová, Ivana (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis builds upon the study of jumping finite automata and introduces jumping finite transducers. Jumping finite automata are finite automata modified in such a way that symbols from the input tape are not read continuously from left to right but that the reading head can make moves on the input tape by jumps. Jumping finite transducers are finite transducers modified in a very similar way. In order to implement jumping finite automata and transducers, strictly deterministic versions of them were introduced by restricting the finite state control and by modification of the binary jumping relation. The thesis furthermore focuses on possible usage of jumping finite automata and transducers and on the description of the implementation of strictly deterministic jumping finite automata.
Complexes of aminoclay and selected organic compounds
Dušek, Jakub ; Pekař, Miloslav (referee) ; Mravec, Filip (advisor)
This paper describes the preparation of aminoclay and complexes of aminoclay with selected bioactive substances. The theoretical part deals with the study of aminoclay and substances suitable for complexes and suitable modification of preparation these complexes. Experimental part of this paper consists of preparation of aminoclay complexes and verification of their formation. In order to verify the formation of the complex by binding of bioactive compounds to the free amino groups of aminoclay were used methods FT-IR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) and XRD (X-ray diffraction). For selected substances, binding to the aminoclay would improve their properties, which was the main motivation for the research. The resulting complexes could be more effective by replacing existing substances used in the pharmaceutical industry and biomedical applications.
Use of laser machines in small companies
Gorgol, Daniel ; Trčka, Tomáš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with laser technology. In the introduction thesis characterizes small and medium-sized companies. The next section describes the types of lasers and their possible applications in engineering industry. It also describes the possibilities of using materials for laser manufacturing as well as suitable semi finished products. It points to the use of this technology in established smaller companies. Finally, it proposes the application of laser machine to expand the machinery of smaller company.
Production of magnetic particles by microorganisms
Chvalkovská, Eva ; Mgr. Martina Mikešová, Ph.D. (roz. Pravečková) (referee) ; Trachtová, Štěpánka (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the magnetic nanoparticles produced by bacteria. These are two types of bacteria. First of them we can find in an industrial environment that produce magnetic nanoparticles using magnetosomes. Magnetosomes are units containing nanocrystals and are surrounded by a lipid layer. They are made up of chains and work as a compass. In this thesis I deal with possibilities of cultivation od these bacteria, acquisition of magnetosomes and subsequent processing. The second type is bacteria living in the human body, they start to produce magnetic nanoparticles after the addition of trigger, such as silver nitrate. Bakteria which can produce silver or ferrous nanoparticles are Bacillus sp, Escherichia coli, Lactobacillus casei ssp. casei and Lactobacillus fermentum. Experimental part of bachelor thesis focused on the production of silver nitrate in concetration of 0,1; 1; 2; 4 mM. The bacteria that have been shown to produce silver nanoparticles are Lactobacillus casei ssp. casei CCM 7088T a Lactobacillus casei ssp. casei CCM 7089 a Lactobacillus rhamnosus CCM 1825T.
