The output of the thesis is a technical documentation containing the drawing of selected components and assembly drawing.
Adolescents knowledge about sexually transmitted diseases
Dudová, Dominika ; Thorovská, Alena (advisor) ; Váchová, Alena (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with knowledge of adolescents about the prevention and transmission of sexually transmitted diseases. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with adolescence, the medical field of venerology and veneral diseases. The aim was to examine the knowledge of chosen high school students. Then to compare whether it differs according to the region where the studied school is located or according to the type of school studied. Furthermore, evaluate the assumptions. The quantitative method was chosen as the research method, and a questionnaire was designed for the survey itself, which was sent to the respondents online. It contained 26 questions, open, closed and semi-open, that focused on the prevention and transmission of sexually transmitted diseases and education in high school. After evaluating all the answers from the research, it shows that the majority of students in chosen high school know how sexually transmitted diseases are transmitted and also how to prevent them. It was also discovered that the region in which the selected school is located does not play a role in the difference in knowledge, but the type of school studied does. It was found that most students know about sexually transmitted diseases from the internet. Respondents agree with the teaching of sexually...
Genus Sergentomyia and its role in the transmission of Leishmania
Hlavačková, Kristýna ; Dvořák, Vít (advisor) ; Sádlová, Jovana (referee)
Sand flies, members of the subfamily Phlebotominae do not occur in the CzechRepublic, but as near as in the Mediterraneantheir fauna is quite abundant. Sand flies can be found approximately between 50řN and 40řS. Species of genus Phlebotomus, Sergentomyia and Lutzomyia include medically and veterinary important vectors of viral and bacterial diseases as well as leishmaniasis, one of the most important human protozoal diseases. 321 years have passed since the first sand fly was described, but only 110 years ago intensive taxonomic work began. Over the years many classification systems have been proposed, mainly based on division of morphological characters. The classification is not clearly settled even after several taxonomic revisions and many questions remain, especially about genus Sergentomyia, which is repeatedly mentioned in connection with transmission of mammals' leishmaniasis. This bachelor thesis gives contemporary summary of taxonomic knowledge of sand flies; special attention is given to genus Sergentomyia.
Transmission and detection of the crayfish plague pathogen under experimental conditions
Svoboda, Jiří ; Petrusek, Adam (advisor) ; Fiala, Ivan (referee)
The crayfish plague pathogen, Aphanomyces astaci, is one of the most serious threats to European indigenous crayfish species, e.g., the noble crayfish (Astacus astacus). The only way to protect susceptible crayfish species from the disease is to prevent the dispersion of the pathogen to their populations. One of the most important sources of the crayfish plague pathogen in Central Europe is the spiny-cheek crayfish (Orconectes limosus), a species of North American origin, which can carry the parasite in its cuticle for years. Some literature sources claimed that the pathogen dispersion from the American vectors is restricted to periods of moulting or to the time before and after the crayfish death. However, experimental evidence for such hypotheses was lacking. The main aim of my thesis was to test these predictions, and the alternative scenario that the crayfish plague pathogen can be transmitted from the infected spiny-cheek crayfish also in other periods. For this purpose, experiments were set up to investigate A. astaci transmission from infected spiny-cheek crayfish to non-infected spiny-cheek or noble crayfish. As expected, the pathogen was transmitted to noble crayfish much more easily than to the uninfected American host. Nevertheless, we succeeded in the pathogen transmission also among spiny-cheek...
Sand flies as hosts of monoxenous and dixenous trypanosomatids
Vondráček, Oldřich ; Votýpka, Jan (advisor) ; Zídková, Lenka (referee)
Sandflies (Diptera: Psychodidae: Phlebotominae) are blood-sucking diptera and important vectors of various pathogens including protozoas from the order Kinetoplastida. In my bachelor work I am dealing with distribution and development of monoxenous and heteroxenous trypanosomatids in sandflies, with special attention to non-leishmania trypanosomatids.
Multi-Body Computational Modeling of Transmission Dynamics
Líčeník, Adam ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on compiling a computational model of the transmission of a Zetor Forterra HSX tractor in the Multibody software MSC ADAMS environment. It analyses the issue of creating gears in terms of vibration and noise. The thesis describes the creation of computational model which is used for simulation of the load conditions during tractor operation. The methodology is applied to a single-stage gearbox in which is verified. Then it is used on a model of a real tractor gearbox. The response of the input load conditions is projected during the forces in the engagement of the gears which are transmitted to the bearings.
Vibration and noise of electric vehicles
Winter, Josef ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with problematics with noises and vibrations else known as Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) at electric vehicles type Battery Electric Vehicle. The attention is drawn to the powertrain system because the powertrain system was electrified. The goal of this thesis is to present sources of noise and vibrations and to show examples of experiments that are done on the vehicles to improve driving comfort of driver and passangers. In the end the measurement and analysis of noises and vibrations were done at electric vehicle by Hyundai from Institute of Automotive Engineering.
Tractor Shift Mechanism Analysis
Netopil, Jan ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the shifting mechanisms of manually shifted tractor transmissions. It provides a comprehensive overview of all significant structural nodes of the shift mechanism with an analysis of the influence of the structure on the resulting intensity of a force required for shifting. The main aim of this thesis is the design and validation of experimental equipment for measuring the force effects of the shift mechanism of a mass-produced tractor in actual operation. The design of the experimental equipment is based on a study of the used measuring technique and similar experimental equipment. The final structure is selected based on selection by the method of weighted values, taking into consideration the requirements of the structure. A functional measuring chain is designed and formed for the realization of the measurement. To evaluate the data from the technical experiment, a multibody model of the designed experimental device is created in the MSC Adams View software, through which the real parameters of the shift mechanism are obtained from the measured values. The designed experimental equipment brings the possibility of complete analysis and subsequent optimization of the tractor's shift mechanism
Design of gearbox for electric vehicles
Košík, Matej ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Řehák, Kamil (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with designing electric vehicle gearbox. Gearbox should serve as virtual replacement for actual transmission of VW ID.3 EV. Designed gearbox has two gears. In the first section there is an extensive search processed of drivetrain and transmission of battery electric vehicles. Next section contains choice of transmission concept and analyses solving of individual structural nodes – gear wheels, band breaks (components that engage individual gears), carriers, shaft, bearing. In the conclusion of diploma thesis, the two-gear planetary transmission is evaluated.
Car gearboxes
Charvát, Adam ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on the most common transmission types of passenger cars and their components with a focus on manual transmissions, automatic transmissions, dualclutch transmissions, continuously variable transmissions, and transmissions for electric and hybrid vehicles. The work deals with the construction, principle of operation and comparison of the properties of these devices. Thesis also contains a look at development trends of these transmissions.
