Access Control System Utilizing NFC and Arduino Microcontroller

The Bachelor thesis focuses on acces systems including administration of locks, groups of users, users and their identities. For simple implementation of the system have been created four significant elements of the project: a web interface Locker, an application server Authentizer, MySQL database and an Android application. The web interface is used for system administration and included communication with the database. The server application is used for a communitation between the Locks and the MySQL database. The pivotal role of the server application is verification identities of users. The sever application and the database are used as publishing API. Android application is used as identity instead of identity card.
Effect of biological treatment and body constitution on in vitro osteoclastogenesis from peripheral precursors in axial spondylarthritisis

Introduction: Biological therapy is becoming a common approach to stop disease progression and suppress symptoms of axial spondyloarthritis, an inflammatory rheumatic disease characterized by bone loss due to dysregulation of bone turnover and increased osteoclast differentiation. Obesity likely affects bone metabolism through multiple mechanisms. It can promote adipocyte differentiation and fat accumulation while inhibiting osteoblast differentiation and bone formation. Additionally, obesity is closely associated with chronic inflammation, which can enhance osteoclast activity and bone resorption. This master's thesis aims to examine the potential influence of excessive adiposity on the osteoclastogenesis process among patients receiving biological therapy for axial spondyloarthritis. Materials and methods: Monocytes isolated from the peripheral blood of patients with axial spondyloarthritis undergoing biological therapy and healthy donors were stimulated in vitro with pooled sera from patients receiving biological treatment, patients with different type of treatment, and healthy controls for a duration of 7-14 days. Depression and other mental disorders are the leading cause of disability worldwide and their burden has increased considerably over past decades. However, advances in psychopharmacology of psychiatric disorders are not in measure with this negativ trend. As a result, a large body of researchinpsychiatryandneurosciencestries to furtherourunderstanding of pathophysiologicalmechanismsunderlyingmooddisorders andothermentalillnesses in order to improve the efficacy of current treatments and to identify new therapeutic agents. According to current evidence, stress-related pathways and inflammation processes are directly involved in thedevelopment of depressive disorder andseveral other psychiatric conditions.Thestudy of the effects and consequences of stress exposure requires an interdisciplinary approach,taking into account specific aspects of the "inputs", such as chronic stress and traumatic experiences, and related psychological processes, with the crucial role of dissociation. Link between inflammation and cancer

Chronic inflammation caused by many initiators can lead to a development of a tumor disease. Among these initiators, we found chronic infections as well as other biological, chemical or physical factors which have endogenous and exogenous origins as for example tobacco smoke, alcohol, radiation, obesity and others. The inflammatory response is orchestrated by immune system cells which contribute to a tumorigenesis by producing reactive oxygen and nitrogen species which harm cell structures, and by releasing cytokines - important mediators of inflammation - which increase cell proliferation and angiogenesis. But apart from higher risk of tumourigenesis due to chronic inflammation, the immune system cells also participate in tumor microenvironment formation. The main contributors are tumor associated macrophages, dendritic cells and T-cells. Besides other things, the complex tumor microenvironment is characterized by the presence of many inflammation mediators which assist in malignant cell proliferation, tumour progression and metastasis and angiogenesis.
