Study of utility properties thermal-reflective insulations in the buildings
Holeček, Dominik ; Skříček, Darek (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
The diploma thesis is partly dedicated to energetic efficiency of buildings and describes possibilities how to evaluate energetic efficiency of buildings in the Czech Republic. We also get to know with distribution of thermal insulators by material base and use in construction. There are also mentioned methods how to determine thermal insulations characteristics of heat insulations, so called heat conductivity coefficient. The last and the crucial chapter of theoretic part is dedicated to thermal-reflective insulations. There are mentioned some of the basic characteristics of insulations, material composition and heat transfer mechanism in their structure as well. Practical part describes measurement of thermal resistance of chosen samples of thermal-reflective insulations per measuring device on the principal of Hot Box method. In the next step was determined emissivity of aluminium foils which forms the surface of chosen samples of thermal-reflective insulations. In the end of thesis are defined possibilities of use thermal-reflective insulations in building structures especially in passive and low-energy buildings in climatic conditions of the Czech Republic.
Multigenerational family house
Šmejdířová, Zuzana ; Struhala, Karel (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor thesis is the design multigenerational family house, which is situated in the village Nemošice near Pardubice. This is a two-story building with partial basement. The building is designed for housing 4-6 persons. The house is built of brick Porotherm systém, the roof is flat. In first floor in main part of house is the living room, garage for two parking spaces and storage of garden furniture. In the second part of first floor is a separate dewelling unit. In the second floor is a space for sleeping and rating. In the basement are storage rooms, utility room and workshop.
Validation options for increasing the thermal insulating properties of foam plastics
Smutný, Vojtěch ; Kopřivík, František (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
The thesis is devoted to the study of material properties of selected types of polystyrene, especially expression of the coefficient of linear thermal expansion. The work contains two main chapters, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with an overview of the thermal insulation in the Czech Republic, the description of phenomena related to heat transfer mechanisms and an overview of experimental methods for determining thermal insulating properties. The practical part presents results of measurements of samples with foamed polystyrene, which is modified by the addition of selected substances. The thesis describes the machine program, which is used to calculate the temperature in during the construction arrangement under the sunlight load.
Analysis of the thermal resistance of insulation systems from foamed insulants in flat roofs
Rundt, Lukáš ; Žák,, Antonín (referee) ; Žižková, Nikol (advisor)
On many structures there ocurred a problem of expanded polystyrene-based thermal insulation material degradation caused by high temperatures close to glazed areas. In a theoretical part of this Master’s Thesis there are the most common thermal insulation materials described, followed by a brief desciption of flat roof waterproofing materials and a thermal stress of structures. An experimental part describes a design of a methodology for evaluation of thermal resistance properties of foamed insulants in flat roofs and several experiments carried out according to the methodology.
Study efficiency of modern thermal insulations for buildings
Holeček, Dominik ; Skříček, Darek (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is partly dedicated to energetic efficiency of buildings and describes possibilities how to evaluate energetic efficiency of buildings in the Czech republic. There is also detailed description of the heat transfer in buildings. We also get to know with production and characteristics of chosen thermal insulators. There are also mentioned methods how to determine thermal insulations characteristics of heat insulations, so called heat conductivity coefficient. The last and the crucial chapter of theoretic part is dedicated to thermo-reflective insulations. There are mentioned some of the basic characteristics of insulations and its material composition as well as usage and methods of thermo-reflective insulations installation in buildings. Practical part is dedicated to description of chosen samples of thermo-reflective insulations and determination of their heat resistance though Hot Box measuring method.
Study of reflectance of materials for construction surface treatment
Rauchfussová, Karolína ; Šot, František (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
Presented work deals with the study of properties of the progressive heat-reflecting foil thermal insulating materials. The work describes the transport mechanism of thermal energy through the structure of heat-reflecting materials, physical properties are compared with conventional thermal insulating materials. It is also shown here the main applications of these materials are in the field of low-energy and passive houses, especially in terms of the optimal method of incorporating in the building. The practical part is devoted to measuring of reflectance was made and then the measuring device HOT BOX was assembled.
Development of thermal a acoustic insulations based on secondary raw sources from textil industry
Kosturová, Andrea ; Třísko, Pavel (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The objective of the presented diploma thesis is to evaluate the influence of modification on surface layer of products with their base structure from organical fibers and on the ability to resist increased humidity. Emphasis is puted on the description of humidity propagation in fiber materials ant he approximation of secondary waste from the textile industry as a potencional material for thermal insulation. The end of the theoretical part focuses on the types of possible surface treatment to prevent the ingress water into the structure of the material. The practical part verifies the selected type of modification of the surface layer of three materials choosen as test ensemble. After applying surface treatment, the effect of treatment on humidity sensitivity and water absorption was assessed. The determination of the thermal conductivity coefficient, the short-term absorption at partial immersion and the determination of the sorption humidity were made.
Familly House
Pourová, Veronika ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
The theme of bachelor´s thesis is family house in Miletin. The family house is a single unit building intended for the permanent family living. It is a family house with two floors and basement. Family house is set in a slinty sloping terrain. The building was constructed using traditional materials and technologies. The building is designed of system POROTHERM and ceiling construction of system POROTHERM MIAKO. The cladding is insulated by contact insulation. Facades are broken color in combination with a large glass window openings. The windows are plastic with insulating glass. The roofs are flat.
Study utility properties of heat-reflective insulation for the buildings
Rauchfussová, Karolína ; TROJAN,, Karel (referee) ; Šťastník, Stanislav (advisor)
Presented work deals with the study progressive heat-reflecting foil thermal insulating materials and defines their thermal insulation properties. The work describes a transport mechanism of thermal energy in the structure of heat-reflecting materials, their physical properties, especially heat resistance, compared to the conventional thermal insulating materials available on Czech market. The main applications ways and installation methods of these materials (especially in low-energy and passive buildings) are also shown. The practical part is focused on asembling the measuring device HOT BOX in accordance with the valid standards, to determine the heat resistance of heat-reflecting materials. In next step the measurement of reflection of aluminum foils (an integral part of the structural arrangement heat-reflecting foil insulations) was performed.
