Production of cover plate

The thesis is focused on the proposal design of the technology of the production of the cover plate of the lock, which together with other parts forms part of the fifth door of the passenger car. The cover is made of 2 mm metal sheet and includes a number of bends, embosses, cuts and trimmed holes. Based on production requirements and a series size of 1,200,000 pieces over 3 years, the production using a progressive composite tool was chosen. The part will be made in eleven steps composing of cutting, stamping, bending and edging. Micro-alloyed structural steel S355MC was chosen as the most suitable material. The part will be produced on the press KSTU 5000-30-7G RKM from the company ANDRITZ Metals and the price of the product is 14,33 CZK.
Diagnostics methodology of historical brickwork

The aim of my bachelor’s thesis is to carry out historical overview of progress of masonry building elements and structures, including their thorough methodology of diagnostics. The introduction text is considering historical progress of masonry elements in Czech Republic and abroad. As following are described brick manufacturing methods of present and past, which is closely related to the progress of brick dimensions and its visual appearance. On sample specimen can be observed mentioned progress in the visual appearance, mechanical properties and so on. The diagnostics of masonry structures is realised via particular tests described in the thesis. Important tests used for overall evaluation are determining brick dimensions, it is volume density, absorption, compressive strength determined via destructive and non destructive methods. Also flexural tensile strength and compressive strength of the mortar. Output of my thesis is overall evaluation of all parts mentioned above.
Manufacturing of car company logo

Bachelor thesis is submitting a proposal of production technology of logo. The part is made of aluminum sheet 42 4005 and the total production is 100,000 unit/year. Based on the variant solution method of combination of stamping and drawing on the instrument without holder has been designed. Instrument is constructed for fixing to the press LEN 25 C with a nominal tensile force of 250 kN. For this variant calculation part and drawings documents were made.
Analysis of the material and technological parameters on the insertion of a sealing ring and their optimization

This project addresses the issue of pressing sealing shaft ring in the flange. Effect of flange material changes to static leakage between the flange and the sealing ring, the surviving process parameters. An optimal use of process fluids to eliminate leaks.
Manufacturing of ignition cover pad

The thesis solves the design of the technology of production of the ignition cover pad made of steel 11 321 with a thickness of 1 mm with zinc surface treatment. It serves as part of the motorcycle engine sealing system. The part is rotating in shape with a diameter of 35 mm and consists of a central extrusion and a hole. The size of the series is 25,000 pieces per year. Production by a progressive compound tool from a coil with dimensions of 1200 x 500 mm is chosen. 3 forming operations with eating between steps are selected, which are implemented by cutting and embossing technologies. The necessary forming work of 476 kJ and the force of 267 kN are determined, according to which the PRESSIX CNV4 eccentric press is chosen. The machine is introduced into the automated Shungdar SJD and SJK production line, which consists of a straightener, unwinder and feeder.
Control of the pneumatic press

This thesis deals with the creation of the control program according to the standard 88. Document contains a brief description of the security features of the model of the pneumatic press. It also focuses on the description of the standard 88 and its subsequent implementation on the pneumatic model. Next part of this document describes the development environment FactoryTalk Batch, which will be used for batch control. The next is a description of the phases formed in RSLogix 5000, configures and recipe created in the FactoryTalk Batch software. The last point is the creation a product for pressing and stamping.
Proposal technology of production scheet-metal part of car body

The Master’s Thesis is focused on stamping of sheet metal parts. The analyzed part is a structural part of an automobile body. The part is made of DC04 (cold rolled mild steel) material. The annual pruduction volume is 10.000 pieces. Theoretical background research is a knowledge base for design of tooling that can produce parts which meet quality requirements. There are three technological processes proposed in the Thesis. An economic analysis identifies the optimal technological process for the production volume. The thesis contains a complex analysis that confirmes material formability. Computer simulation verifies the part design, material and technological parameters of the forming process.
Production of parts for window fittings

This project submits a proposal for manufacturing technology of casement and frame window hardware base, made of 11343.23 steel 2,5 mm in thickness and with 15000 pieces annual production volume. The components form an integral part of a window hardware arrest mechanism. From potential variants of manufacturing, the technology of stamping and bending, with the use of a combined tool, was chosen. A bibliographic search examining these technologies was made and the machine LE 250 with nominal forming force 2 500kN was selected. The project comprises structural and technological calculations, including the combined tool design. In the economical part of the project, the product prices were quoted and the break-even point was determined. The break-even point is broken as soon as 13 046 pieces are manufactured.
Diagnostics of Historic Masonry Construction

Bachelor’s thesis describes historical overview of progress of masonry elements, including their technology production. Define used methods of diagnostics masonry structures and characterizes their implementations and evaluations. The essence of designing characteristic and designing strength of masonry in compresion is desribed in conclusion. As the result of this bachelor’s thesis is summary up diagnostic problematics and try out diagnostics methods on real object.
Design of oil pan production

The project elaborated with the technological design of the production of a rectangular oil pan with a vertical bottom, a flange and the logo of the current manufacturer. The material is 1.4301 stainless steel, the wall thickness is 1,5 mm and the production series is 20 000 pieces per year. The semi-finished product is a metal sheet with the size of 1 500 mm by 3 000 mm, from which rectangular profiles with dimensions of 674 mm by 474 mm are obtained with board scissors in the required quantity of 1 667 pieces. Based on the requirements of the pan, a tool design was created, which was conceived in a combined design enabling all technological operations to be performed in a single working stroke. The basic shape is obtained by deep drawing technology without wall thinning in one stroke with a holder. The required parameters of the flange are ensured by blanking and the logo is created by stamping. The tool was designed on the basis of calculations, using the maximum number of standardized components, and its functionality is conditioned by cooperation with a hydraulic press from Dieffenbacher PO 250, which enables the combination of all three technological operations in one stroke due to two lower holders.
