Painting with music in Kinderganten

The bachelor's thesis examines the influence of music on the painting activity of children in kindergarten. The aim of the thesis is to investigate how cheerful and sad music affects children and their ability to transfer this music to paper. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of preschool age, experiential learning, listening to music and the meaning of colors. The practical part examines the musical and artistic expression of children with a number of experiential activities. Furthermore, it brings concrete procedures and suggestions for the inclusion of painting with serious music in teaching in kindergarten. Data collection methods were based on observation, interviews, reflection, video recordings and analysis of drawings. The main findings of the work analyzes the different reaction of children to a sad and cheerful composition.
Weekly lesson plan on the theme: Discovering treasures of our nature

The bachelor thesis's intended purpose was to create an environmental lesson plan. In the theoretical part, there was a described theoretical basis from which the lesson plan came out. This section defined environmental education, its goals, methods, and principles. There was devoted space to its application in kindergarten, the importance of the school garden, and the connection between environmental education and the curriculum for preschool education. Last but not least experience learning, game, and flow learning have been described. The practical part includes an assembled lesson plan, daily evaluation, and final evaluation with children. In the plan were environmental activities, which developed environmental sensivity and created a positive attitude toward nature. In the end, it was found that the most successful aktivity was the one carried out directly in the forest, namely the building of a village for gnomes. The least liked activity was walking to the forest, which was too long in their words. Another unliked activity was earthworm touching, but it was voluntary. Most children gave up on the activity and those who tried it found it unpleasant.
Education of preschool children in the topic of honey bee as an important pollinator.

Presented bachelor thesis was focused on creating a range of educational activities within the framework of environmental education, the aim of which was to raise the awareness of preschool children about the importance of the honey bee as our important pollinator. The main emphasis was placed on a playful form of activities that are intended to arouse children's interest in learning in the given area and, using experiential learning methods, to realize the importance of pollinators for our society and humanity as such. Basic pedagogical terms and terminology were defined in the theoretical part. Another part of the bachelor's thesis was devoted to the origin of the honey bee, its biology and morphology. An integral part of this literary part, a description of the principle of pollination, its impact on food production and environmental biodiversity. In the Practical part, activities focused on a playful form of experiential learning was presented. The presented activities were implemented in a kindergarten in South Bohemia and are described in detail. The program was subjected to reflection, which evaluated the impact of educational offers on children in kindergarten.
Expressive and creatrive activities in primary school

Forest School Education

This bachelor thesis deals with education in forest preschools. This is a relatively new trend in preschool education in the Czech Republic and the aim of the thesis is to create a realistic and complete picture of this alternative. The thesis has two parts. The first part puts this pedagogical concept into the context of the current social situation, introduces its pedagogical bases and historical moments of its formation and spreading in the world. Further the theoretical part introduces the possible concepts and definitions of forest preschools, presents the basic principles, criteria, specifics and other related issues. At the end of the theoretical part the thesis deals with the Czech context of forest preschools. The practical part gives an insight into a possible case of the practice of forest preschool and presents research results in this area. The research focuses on the specific way of organizing of particular forest preschool, its pedagogical concept and also introduces the views of people involved.
Deepening of health principles and sanitary habits of pre-school children through musical activities

This Bachelor thesis will emphasize the importance of health principles and sanitary habits through for musical activities of pre-school children. As means of deepening of health principles and sanitary habits will be used both original songs and poems composed from three perspectives: psychological (adequacy in terms of the character of perception and level of psychological characteristics), artistic (adequacy of instrumentation and rhytmic-melodic structure in terms of possibilities of musical expression of pre-school children), and ethical (creating attitudes as relatively permanent values of a forming personality). The research will be carried out using a sample of 5 to 6 year-old children in an ordinary kindergarten participating in a musical performance. It will be evaluated based on empirical validation. The effectivity of the research will be deepened by observing children and interviews with the children's parents. At the end, the author of the thesis will summarize the most important experience and propose ideas for musical-pedagogical practice. Way to Philosophy Using Drama Educational Methods

The focus of the bachelor thesis is to offer a profound insight into the use of drama education as a form of teaching philosophy. Drama education has proven its usefulness in many school subjects. The advantage of drama education is that it connects a topic with a direct experience. Unfortunately, direct experience and its connection to real life is what is philosophy missing. The thesis shows different approaches to use of drama education in teaching of philosophy based on basic division of philosophical disciplines. It concerns drama education as a way to mediate philosophical text to students via preparation of a theatrical performance, but also drama education as a particular method to be used in class. The thesis includes also a report of a practical realization of a project focused on Socrates and Plato’s view on the relation of an individual and society.

Project teaching in art education on primary school - "Meadow"

Linda Arbanová, Ph.D. Abstract: In this bachelor work the author applies herself to the project teaching of Art lessons. She prioritizes two main educational aims. She chooses a topic and prepares "The Meadow" project. She is succesful at its realization. This theme is enough rich in the impulses for visual work in Art lessons and it infuses well the other subjects. The author makes the project on the base of the School Education Programme for the second year. Her choice of graphic technologies goes with it - drawing, painting, collage, frottage, muchlage, making plastics, objects etc. The whole project consists of eight parts. Each one of them contains a different graphic problem. The description of all graphic activities are completed with the visual documentation, the pupil's reflection and the author's own as well. In the ending of her work she compares the development of children's personality in the class with the growing plants on the meadow.
