ICT Selection
Matis, Peter ; Porubän, Richard (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
Bachelor’ s thesis analyzes the current situation of information systems used by the company iPARTNER, s.r.o. and suggests recommendations on their improvement using methods and analyses commonly used by the company itself. Recommended changes should help to decrease the time needed to complete IT related daily tasks.
Uninterruptible Power Supply
Brichta, Tomáš ; Chmelař, Milan (referee) ; Fedra, Petr (advisor)
In this work I have been briefed by hardware realization of CLINICOM. After description of this hospital information system I concerned with important attributes of the server. Next the UPS has been described with its kinds and parameters. Consequently I was getting acquainted with methods of measuring of power consumption of computers and description of instrument Energy Logger. At next I concerned with load measuring of the server NIS CLINICOM UBMI with instrument Energy Logger 3500 and in the next section of this part I have calculated theoretic backup time. Sequentially all gauging have been compared with real gauging of backup time. At the end I concerned with methods realization of automated sending of warning message about electric feed problems to administrator and every logged users of the hospital information system.
Mikroprocesorová technika ve výuce biomedicínských oborů
Sekora, Jiří ; Králík, Martin
Mikroprocesorová technika v současné době zasahuje snad do všech oblastí zdravotnické techniky, ať už se jedná o různé podpůrné či autonomní systémy, detektory, dataloggery či součásti diagnostických a terapeutických přístrojů, a právě proto má i své místo ve výuce napříč všemi studijními programy vyučovanými v biomedicínských oborech.
Prostředky a způsoby výuky elektrotechniky v rámci biomedicínského inženýrství
Study of Inserting Hardware Trojans into Processors
Šviková, Johana ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Růžička, Richard (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on a specific aspect of cybersecurity known as hardware trojans, which are insidious attacks integrated directly into electronic components. The work begins with an analysis of the architecture and function of hardware trojans, examining their various types and classifications, and exploring methods for their detection and prevention. Furthermore, the thesis investigates how these attacks can impact compromised devices and how they can pose serious security risks. This thesis contains a design and implementation of a Trojan horse for a simple processor.
Framework for Automated Testing of Hardware Devices
Jeřábek, František ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis describes the analysis, design and implementation of framework for automated testing of hardware devices. It describes the test lifecycle design, testing sequence and interface for communication with measuring devices and the possibility for extensions. It explains the analysis of problems associated with automated hardware testing and creation of sufficiently universal design and subsequent implementation of such system.
Embedded System for Detecting Human Aggression
Hlavienka, Boris ; Malaník, Petr (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on design and implementation of detection system based on aggresion recognition through combinations of physiological changes such as heart rate, voice intensity and skin resistance. The goal is to implement the system on embedded device and test efficency of such system through an experiment. This paper carries out analysis of individual types and expressions of aggresion, on the basis of which they are then chosen methods of its detection. The final product is then tested using an experiment on a group of voulenteers, who were exposed to various stimuli with the aim of inducing aggressive behavior. The findings may be put to use in the field of aggression prevention and safety protection in various environments as well as medicine.
Universal sport timer
Dlabaja, Vladimír ; Streit, Jakub (referee) ; Baštán, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the available timekeepers on the market and the design of a universal sports timekeeper. It also deals with the implementation of the hardware, firmware and software of the timekeeper.
Smart hydroponic system
Seč, Filip ; Juráň, Radovan (referee) ; Benešl, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the implementation of a smart hydroponic system with the capability of remote control and monitoring via a web interface. The main objective of the work is to design and implement hardware and software components for this system. Within the scope of the work, it is important to familiarize oneself with the issues of hydroponics and explore various types of hydroponic systems and their usage. Focus will also be given to the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of individual types of hydroponics. The next step involves getting acquainted with microcontrollers and sensors that will be used within the hydroponic system. Based on this, we will design a schematic connection and a printed circuit board (PCB) for the system. After designing the hardware, the implementation follows, along with bringing the de- signed modules to life. At this stage, it is necessary to program the individual modules so that they are able to communicate and process data. An important step is the design of communication with the web interface, which will enable data reading and system control. In this way, it will be possible to monitor the hydroponic system remotely. At the conclusion of the work, we verify the overall functionality of the system and compare it with existing commercial solutions available on the marke
Post Quantum Cryptography on FPGA
Gyõri, A. ; Smékal, D.
This work describes the post-quantum algorithm FrodoKEM, its hardware implementation in VHDL and software simulation of implementation. The issue of postquantum cryptography and the VHDL programming language used to describe the functionality of the hardware was studied. The acquired knowledge was transformed into a functional simulation of all parts of the algorithm. All these parts have already been implemented separately, so that the functionality of every single part can be separately approached. These parts are key generation, encapsulation and decapsulation. After successful simulation. These parts will be synthetised and implemented to FPGA board NEXYS A7.
