A development of traditional sports non-government organization: Sokol club Písek and its stakeholders

Sokol, as one of the traditional mass special - interest organizations in the Czech republic relates on the tradition from the point of its foundation in 1862. Despite the fact that this organization proved to overcome several prohibitions its activities and to re-established, the modern period and its life style could be fatal for it. Especially the traditional program - universality is not as popular as so - called special sports among public neither donors. Because of that the thesis describes an attitude of selected groups of Sokol club's Písek stakeholders, and its opinions about the universality, the reference to a community, the strenght of communication, the real and potencial Sokol's benefit for a community, etc. The output of the thesis is proposing of the strategy for the work with particular members of community.
Public policy of sects and new religious movements in the Czech Republic - Stakeholders analysis.

This work addresses the issue of sects and new religious movements from the perspective of public policy of Czech Republic, namely its relevant people involved in the field of policy making. In the first part we learn more about the definitions of the term sect, new religious movements and public policy from the terminological development to the definition within the scope of work. It also includes legal definitions, how does the Czech Republic operate with them. The second part is focused on the characteristics of pulic policy - places, people involved, tools and process - as and indispensable part of creation. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of people involved who are involved in this work and arrange for its subsequent implementation. Each person involved is described in terms of the characteristics of the issue, of its function in public policy, of the evaluation of the existing work and of the interest, influence and position they have in this issue.

In my theses I focus on analysis of three international private market companies. Company GEFCO ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA s.r.o. , Dalkia a.s. a ABB a.s. With this companies I'm interested in the way how they practice corporate social responsibility (CSR). When I was choosing this companies I considered facts as: Company has to have head quarter in Western Europe Company has to have experience with corporate social responsibility and has to practice CSR and has to organize social responsible activities. All chosen companies are leaders in its business sector. In my theses I will focus on overview about CSR activities of companies, mainly on corporate philanthropy. I will focus on cooperation of these companies and non government organization, I'm interested in concrete activities done by NGOs in cooperation with through CSR and how NGOs perceived activities that are done through CSR. I'm interested in the way how companies involve their employees into CSR. I 'm going to aim if subsidiaries and head quarters practice same CSR activities and using same CSR tools. I'm also interested in the role of CSR in marketing strategy of these companies. This thesis is focused on the phenomenon of corporate social responsibility (CSR). Opening parts of the work are devoted to the concept in general and its evolution in the context of other theories investigating the issue of responsibility in business as well. The part the work describes recommendations for the implementation process of the CSR concept into an organizational strategy. Following chapters are based on the stakeholder theory and a related specification of the CSR content within three thematic spheres - economic, social and environmental. A part of the work describes opportunities of CSR in a field of a human resources management. The last chapter describes utilization of CSR in the human resource management in the particular company. The chapter also contains recommendations based on the concept of CSR in order to bring positive effects to the company and employees, who are an important group of stakeholders. Analysis on status of CSR in the Czech Republic

This master´s thesis is focused on analysis of state of CSR in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part covers the basic concept of CSR associated with its development, benefits, methods of its measurement and reporting including current trends in the field. The practical part is based on author´s own research conducted among national and multinational companies operating on the Czech market using quantitative and qualitative research methods. The research´s results reflect the differences between these companies following up the individual aspects of CSR and other variables. Therefore the thesis portrays the evaluation of the current state of CSR in the Czech Republic, including related causes and recommendations for improvement.
Corporate social responsibility of SAP

The thesis deals with corporate social responsibility. The subject of investigation is the CSR strategy of the chosen company. The theoretical part describes the corporate social responsibility from a historical and a current perspective. Above all, the thesis puts emphasis on the social pillar, namely the activities of the company in relation to its stakeholders, particularly employees and volunteering. Volunteering is an important part of corporate social responsibility. The questionnaire and subsequently its statistical evaluation answers the question whether the students currently studying in two economic universities consider SAP as a responsible company and how they relate to volunteerism.

The thesis deals with the issues of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This topic is quite wide and the concept of sustainability is currently considered to be very important and actual.The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate the CSR in the company TNT Express focusing on the perception of the CSR concept, the motives for implementation of CSR and the effectiveness of the communication channels. There are described the current CSR activities of TNT Express in the Chapter 4. The thesis comprises two key parts. The Chapter 3 is dedicated to the theoretical basis. Especially the stakeholders theory, the three pillars of CSR, the arguments of proponents and opponents of the CSR approach, the CSR communication tools and a brief summary of the new conceptions of CSR are described in this part.The literature review is followed by the part of the research. The research is based on the study of secondary data and the other information comes from the interviews with both internal and external stakeholders.The research results are analyzed and summarized, the strengths and the weaknesses are revealed and new company strategy in the sphere of CSR is proposed with respect to the potential opportunities and threats.
Corporate Social Responsibility: cooperation between businesses and non-profit organizations

The objective of the thesis is to define key points of successful cooperation between businesses and non-profit organizations. The thesis is focused on Corporate Social Responsibility in terms of cooperation with a nonprofit sector. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the introduction into CSR topic, the introduction into non-profit organizations, types of cooperation, partnership of both sectors and criticism of CSR. The practical part of the thesis consists of a research, which is made by three research surveys. The first research survey uses the method of the secondary document analysis. Another two surveys are realized through semi-structured interviews. The interviews are taken with both sectors to deliver complex research results. Firstly with specialists from businesses and secondly with non-profit organizations specialists. Four key results come from the research and these significantly increase the success of mutual cooperation. These are accuracy prepared strategy, clear expectations on both sides, equal partnership and mutual respect of the expected standard.
A Proposal of Voluntary Reporting in Selected Company

This diploma thesis deals with reporting of sustainability development and its mode of administration of regular reports. The purpose of the first section is to explain, define and describe theoretical and methodological approaches of corporate social responsibility of companies, how they were developed and what are their elementary principles and characteristics. The second section focuses on the analysis of implementation of corporate social responsibility in a concrete company in three areas – economical, social and environmental. The aim of the thesis is to create report about corporate social responsibility and sustainability development, based on acquired information and evaluated analyses.
