The topic of this thesis is "Planning, production and distribution in selected company." The aim of this thesis was to recommend some suggestions which could lead to improvements in the selected company. This thesis is composed of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes the contents of each chapter. This section was written on the basis of domestic and foreign literary sources. This work is focused on analysis of current situation in chosen company for the calendar year 2015 in section of production, planning, capacity utilization, material and information flow, distribution and new product development. At the end of the practical part are recommended the proposals for improvement.
Business plan for a microbrewery in the city of Tábor

The aim of this master's thesis is to demonstrate a business plan tailored for a microbrewery located in the city of Tábor. The thesis consists of two sections. The first being a theoretical part introducing entrepreneurship in general and its application into the small and medium enterprises sector. Furthermore it describes the business plan as a document which includes recommended sections and basic approach of developing an advanced business plan. The other part is the detached microbrewery business plan itself. The business plan main focus points are brewery industry overview, defining the business intention, proposal of each part of such project and the overall viability prospects of the project under the given conditions. Main user of the business plan ought to be used by the entrepreneur himself.
Competitivness of the Czech manufacturing sector in the context of global value chains

The thesis analyzes competitiveness of the Czech manufacturing industry in the context of global value chains using data from the OECD TiVA database in years 2000, 2005, 2008 and 2009. The main aim of this work is to highlight the importance of global value chains and outline how the Czech Republic can increase its added value within them. In order to fulfill this objective, the theoretical part explains the importance of global value chains in modern manufacturing industry. In the practical part, five selected industries of the Czech manufacturing sector are compared with the respective industries in Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Germany and Sweden using indicators of the added value and productivity of production factors. The last section describes the implications and recommendations for the Czech Republic.

This thesis is called "Management of project activities in the enterprises of light industry" and deals with the analysis of the management of project activities, including procurement assessment made objects in terms of quantity and quality, time and cost. The theoretical part is included research issues relating to the manufacture, production processes and their associated characteristics. The practical part describes the characteristics of a social organization, the analysis of manufacturing processes aimed at product realization, production planning, resource management, preparation and production management and quality policy, including an analysis of the produced object. On the basis of these analyzes were set out proposals for a more effective management of the company and improve the functioning of the company in the long run.
Applying lean produktion in the selected company

Bachelor thesis consists of two parts: a literature review and their own work. Literature review explains the reader with issues concerning situation of the automotive industry and lean manufacturing. Topics concerning the situation of the automotive industry deals with the number of cars in the Czech Republic and the world. There is an explanation of lean manufacturing and selected methods, explaining the difference between gradual improvement and improving jump. The actual work consists of chapters on the characteristics of the company, the structure of production and planning, manufacturing process selected group of products, material flows of goods and estimating losses, adding value and suggests possible zlepšení.Vše is applied to the company ŠKODA AUTO a. s., in that its activity is analyzed for calendar year 2012. Finding the necessary information regarding the operation of the company was studying the annual reports, websites and communication with executives including a tour of the museum and business operations.
Logistics of multinational company

The aim of this master's thesis is to analyze logistics processes of multinational company Miele technika s.r.o., to explain its position within Multinational Corporation and to demonstrate the use of an information system for streamlining of material flow management. The first chapter describes the very concept of logistics and where it is possible to meet it, the development of logistics and current trends in this area. The second chapter is devoted to production logistics and is focused on the description of production planning and controlling. The third chapter describes lean principles. The final chapter, using a case study, compares originally used system with a current system that is based on the lean principles.
Vertical integration and vertical restraints - The Case of the Czech manufacturing industry

Diploma thesis "Vertical integration and vertical restraints - The Case of the Czech manufacturing industry" deals with the empirical examination of the influence of the degree of vertical integration on the productivity of Czech firms in the manufacturing industry and is focused on some aspects of the automotive industry during the period 1998 -- 2007. At the theoretical level the work deals with determinants of vertical integration and vertical restraints, both on an individual level and also in terms of social welfare. The results of the analysis show the existence of the negative relationship between the degree of vertical integration and the productivity of companies in the manufacturing sector. Examination of the automotive industry showed reduction of the output gap between domestic and foreign firms.
Production technology of non-alcoholic beer

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is a literature review talking about the Technology of non-alcoholic beer. The first part of this work is dedicated to the general conditions of beer production. Talking about processes such as malting, brewing and some general information about malting and brewing raw materials are included to this first part. The second part is devoted to non-alcoholic beer. It talks about the history of non-alcoholic beer and its development, nonalcoholic beer as it is, ways of its preparing, non-alcoholic beer market, consumption and non-alcoholic beer competition. Procedures of the production of non-alcoholic beer can be divided into modifications of the procedures, into the procedures with special brewing yeast and other micro - organisms and into production technologies consisting of removing the ethanol from beer.
Procurement process in a manufacturing company in international environment

The diploma thesis deals with procurement process and ensuring of sources in a manufacturing company. The thesis is split into two parts. The first theoretical one deals with importance of procurement in creating economic value in a company, defines procurement, its goals and factors influencing it, describes procurement process, i.e. strategic sourcing, operational purchasing, procurement controlling, supplier relationship management, and procurement process support by IS/ICT. The second practical one analyses procurement process in a selected Czech manufacturing company in the mentioned areas and proposes recommendations for improvement.
