Společná reflexe jako cesta ke spolupráci výzkumníků a učitelů
Hošpesová, A. ; Macháčková, Jana ; Tichá, Marie
Příspěvek informuje o případové studii ukazující posun několika učitelů od "reflektujícího praktika" k učiteli-výzkumníkovi cestou kvalifikované (společné) pedagogické reflexe. Kvalifikovaná pedagogická reflexe zahrnuje pozorování, popis a analýzu klíčových elementů,hodnocení atd. Vytváří prostor pro přechod od intuitivní k uvědomělé a odůvodňované činnosti učitele ve vyučování matematice.

TEM and SEM study of precipitation hardened Cu-Co alloys after severe plastic deformation
Buršík, Jiří ; Svoboda, Milan ; Král, Petr ; Dvořák, Jiří ; Sklenička, Václav
The paper reports on preliminary results of microstructural study of Cu-2wt.%Co alloy processed by ECAP. The experimental alloy was cast and annealed at 1273 K for 10 hours followed by water cooling, resulting in the solid solution (the initial state). Further heat treatment was then applied to produce two-phase material with fine distribution of precipitates. ECAP was then conducted at room temperature on both the initial and the precipitation hardened states. Resulting microstructures were studied and characterized by microhardness testing, TEM observations and texture analysis by means of electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) technique in SEM.

New algorithm for spectral factorization and its application in signal processing
Ježek, Jan ; Hromčík, Martin ; Šebek, Michael
In this report a new algorithm is presented for the spectral factorization of a two-sided symmetric polynomial. The method is based on the discrete Fourier transform theory (DFT) and its relationship to the Z-transform. Involving DFT computational techniques, namely the famous fast Fourier transform routine (FFT), brings high computational efficiency and reliability. The power of the proposed procedure is employed in a particular practical signal processing application.

Numerical algorithms for polynomial matrices
Hromčík, Martin ; Šebek, Michael
This report is devoted to new numerical methods for computations with polynomials and polynomial matrices that are encountered when solving the problems of control systems design via the algebraic methods. A distinguishing feature of our approach is the extensive employment of the discrete Fourier transform techniques, namely of the famous Fast Fourier Transform routine and its relation topolynomial interpolation and Z-transform.

Influence of H2O2 treatment on morphological and photoluminescence properties of hydrothermally grown ZnO nanorods
Yatskiv, Roman ; Grym, Jan
We report photoluminescence properties of hydrothermally grown ZnO nanorods (NRs) before and after hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) treatment. The H2O2 treatment introduces oxygen related defects and thus enhances chemisorption processes in ZnO NRs. These effects amplify interactions between the gas species and adsorbed oxygen and thus can influence sensing properties of ZnO NRs

Frustrated Lewis pairs-assisted reduction of carbonyl compounds
Marek, Aleš ; Pedersen, M. H. F.
An alternative and robust method for the reduction of carbonyl groups by frustrated Lewis pairs (FLPs) is reported in this paper. With its very mild reaction conditions, good to excellent yields, absolute regioselectivity and the non-metallic character of the reagent, it provides an excellent tool for 1H, 2H as well as 3H chemistry. It is a new strategy for the one-pot synthesis of aromatic alcohols selectively labeled with heavy isotopes of hydrogen.

Preparation of Magnesium Silicide from Recycled Materials for Energy Storage.
Bumba, Jakub ; Dytrych, Pavel ; Šolcová, Olga ; Koštejn, Martin ; Fajgar, Radek ; Maléterová, Ywetta ; Kaštánek, František
Recycling technologies help to save energy, materials and environment. This is the main reason of their popularity. The recovery of semiconductors and metals depends on recycling treatment. A new multi-step technology, which enables to obtain pure silicon and hydrogen from waste materials,is reported in this study. The only by-product is magnesium phosphate, which is a desired fertilizer. Magnesium silicide was successfully prepared from milled silicon photovoltaic (PV) panels and milled Mg obtained from the scrap. The formed magnesium silicide was then hydrolysed by phosphoric acid to form a mixture of silanes. Gaseous products (silanes) were separated by cooling below their boiling temperature by liquid nitrogen and then thermally decomposed by a hot wire, e.g. Pt.This treatment leads to pure silicon and hydrogen release. In this study a deep-in characterization by various methods spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) with Energy Dispersive X- Ray spectroscopy (EDX), etc.) of prepared samples was also done to explain the individual influences, e.g. reaction temperature and atmosphere.

Vlčková, B. ; Moskovits, M. ; Pavel, I. ; Šišková, K. ; Sládková, M. ; Šlouf, Miroslav
Práce prezentuje časově fluktující SERS (povrchově zesílený Ramanův rozptyl) signály vznikající z jediného konkrétního dimeru spojeného 4,4'-diaminobenzenem a jednoho určitého malého agregátu spojeného 4,4''-diaminoterfenylem stříbrných nanočástic.

Fatigue crack growth in 316L under uniaxial and torsional loading
Karol, Michal ; Chlupová, Alice ; Mazánová, Veronika ; Kruml, Tomáš
A study of fatigue crack initiation and growth in 316L austenitic stainless steel is reported. Fatigue experiments were performed at room temperature on full cylindrical specimens cycled axially (tension-compression) and on hollow cylindrical specimens tested in reversed torsion. Microstructure and damage evolution (crack initiation and growth) on the surface of mechanically and electrolytically polished specimens were observed using light and electron microscopy. An analysis of the orientation of microcracks and macrocracks which led to failure was made. Axially loaded specimens exhibited presence of several microcracks which resulted in macrocrack propagating perpendicularly to specimen axis. In the case of torsional loading, orientation of macrocrack propagation was dependent on applied load and presence of notches. High amount of short cracks initiated parallel to specimen axis. Long cracks exhibited a tendency to bifurcate with crack branches oriented at approximately 45° to the specimen axis.

Seasonal Variation in Propagation Directions of Acoustic Gravity Waves in the Thermosphere
Fišer, Jiří ; Chum, Jaroslav
We investigate seasonal behaviour of acoustic gravity waves (AGWs) in\nthe thermosphere. For this purpose, measurements of HF Doppler sounding stations\noperated by or in cooperation with our institute are used. These measurements\nare compared with previously reported studies which employed different techniques\nof ionospheric observations. The propagation of AGWs is found to have strong\nseasonal dependence. AGWs in summer generally tend to propagate poleward in\nsummer and equatorward in winter.
