Narrative in Computer Games

This Bachelor’s thesis deals with an issue of a narrative in computer games. In the introductory chapters, general games specifications, such as rules and genres of the games, are formulated. The main focus is then on linear and interactive forms of the narrative and on the means they are most frequently represented by. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of two selected games, focusing on the narrative means used and on the way they influence the game’s linearity and interactivity. For each game, a storyline scheme is created on whose basis a narrative structure of the game is determined.

Vstup nešestiletých dětí do ZŠ 1 Monika Musilová Abstrakt Cílem teoretické části práce je zjistit, jak je v odborné literatuře pojednán fakt předčasného nástupu dítěte do školy. Tyto literární nálezy jsou konfrontovány s daty v empirické části práce, které byly získány na základě rozhovorů s dětmi, rodiči a učitelkami mající s předčasným vstupem do školy zkušenost. Rozhovory byly realizovány se dvěma rodinami. Zjistili jsme, že v obou případech byl hlavním důvodem vstupu zájem o četbu a čtení dítěte a obavy rodičů z nudy dítěte ve škole. Z rozhovorů také vyplynulo, že tato volba je přísně individuální a vyžaduje komplexní posouzení řady aspektů.
