Care of the Intangible Cultural Heritage: Case of the Ride of Kings

Care of the intangible cultural heritage is nowadays dependent on several elements. The main element is people and community in the places where the habit or tradition is still kept. But their effort must be supported by national and international authorities who invest considerable resources into their preservation. Except this also the general awareness of public that is a guarantee of passing the tradition to the next generations is very important. On the example of the Ride of Kings there is captured historical evolution of the tradition, which during the previous century undergo the change in the people's celebrations. By their formation was conditioned preservation of tradition, which began to vanish in the second half of the 20th century. Model of the world in the texts of children's folklore and peculiarities of its functioning in a modern children's literature (for example, Grigory Oster's poetry)

(in English): Abstract for thesis on the topic "The model of the world in the texts of children's folklore and peculiarities of its functioning in modern children's literature (the poetry of G. Oster)." The study examined the texts of rhymes and sadistic rhymes identified among pupils of junior classes, in order to identify the main features of modeling the world which are shown in the analyzed texts. Then the features of that models considered by the example of the texts of modern children's literature, in particular texts of G. Oster. The work performes next tasks: 1) to reveal the specifics of child's consciousness, reflected in studied children's folklore genres; 2) to compare the main features of modeling the world in the texts of rhymes and sadistic rhymes; 3) to identify the features of the functioning world's systems in modern children's literature (in the texts by G. Oster). An analysis of 70 text units, which function in the modern children's subculture, identified a specific children's picture of the world and its reflection in the texts of studied genres and texts of modern children's literature (for example the poetry of G.Oster). The History of Folklore Ensemble Skesujan - Interpretation of its Repertoire

This thesis aims to analyze the motivation to found the Skejusan folklore ensemble, and its history and artistic development, which represents part of Ruthenian culture. This work characterizes the multicultural environment of the Ruthenians living in Bohemia, defines the influence of the environment in which they currently reside, their culture and life, follow the historic route of transmission of traditions and customs during moving forefathers and ancestors of today's Skejusans. Another goal of my work is characteristics of the unique Ruthenian ensamble Skejusan (the only one in the Czech Republic), and the capture and description of its activities, national customs and traditions which the ensamble represents, including the description of Skejus authentic costumes. The thesis also compares different and analogous elements between Skejus folklore and folklore of other nations. One of the important outcomes of my work is the creation of a Ruthenian-Czech dictionary based on the ensamble's repertoir e.
The Life and the Early Works of Josef Mach

The Abstract The Bachelor work is based on the interpretation of life, early work and import of writer Josef Mach. According to these criteriors the work is devided to three thematical spheres. The first part represents the Mach's biography, which gets out of original information from his work, from his correspondence and from the documents of instituitons, which his life was connected with. The second part of the work analyses Mach's early two poem digests from the formal point of view and mainly from the semantical point of view. The last part of the work takes aim at representative secondary literature about Josef Mach and at development of publication and adapting of his work. The aim of this work is first effort of completing of information about this czech poet, who influenced home literature and literature abroad, and second to give the elementary thematical view of his early work.
Folklore tourism: a case study Chodsko

The objective of bacalary work is to demarcate a Chodsko region for using in tourism sphere with the conservation of etnographic aspect of region. It is there dealing with a question of tourist profile, tourist behaviour and his influence to local environment. A socio- cultural environment is threated through negative tourism phenomenons and processes. Positive tourism phenomenons and processes reinforce a socio-cultural environment and help to keep a local traditions. The top of influence of tourism to the area, there are expressions of tourism occured in the area. Magic fairytale and its metamorphoses in works of 17th to 19th century

Abstact This bachelor thesis focuses on examining the development of fairytales with an emphasis on literary adaptations of magic fairytales of the 17th to the 19th century. It consists of theoretical and practical parts. The first chapter discusses the basic characteristics of fairytales, its definition, features, classification. Furthermore, the work deals with theories about the origin of folktales and ways of their analysis from a scientific point of view. At the end of the this part fairytales are analysed as a literary genre. The second part represents writers Charles Perrault, Brothers Grimm, Karel Jaromír Erben Božena Němcová. Each of these authors approaches to their fairytale works in a different way, which is described in this section. In chapters of each writer, we first learn about their biography, as well as the time in which they lived, along with its historical and social background and last but not least, with their literary production with an emphasis on fairytale work. The last chapter contains a practical part of thesis. There is comparison of two magic fairytales, that appear in the works of authors from the second chapter. First we meet with a history and short plot of the tales, followed by analysis of their characters and differences in the various versions, and ultimately the story...
Provence mirrored in its legends

Title of the thesis: Provence mirrored in its legends Keywords: legend, myth, tradition, folklore, Provence, anthropology Abstract: The subject of the bachelor's thesis is the French region Alpes-Côte-d'Azur and its legends.The first part is focused on the region itself from several aspects. There is the geographical location, the climate and the typical products of the said region. Furthermore, a part of the thesis consists of the history of the region spreading from the antiquity until the middle ages. A very significant part is that of the language environment of Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur. The legends, which are sorted into the historical development of the region, are then individually analyzed.
