Machining parts made from composite materials
Trčka, Radim ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with fiber-reinforced composite materials in terms of their attributes, development, distribution, usage and production. It analyzes problems of composite materials (especially electroinsulating and thermo insulating) and machining supported by Edgecam software.
Manufacturing Process and Applications of Composite Materials for buses parts
Rusek, Jan ; Julišová, Martina (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is the evaluation and demonstration of the usability of composite materials in the bus industry. The first chapter provides an overview of selected types of composite materials, basic classification, description of their parts and demonstrations of methods of production. The second part of the bachelor’s thesis is focused on the evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of using composite materials. The last part is focused on the producion of the sample from fiberglass.
Mechanical properties of Nodular Cast Iron prepared by method Tundish and process Initek
Vítek, Radovan ; Hotový, Ivan (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a properties and production of nodular cast iron. The first section describes the classification, distribution and structure of nodular cast iron. The second part is focuses on the description of nodular cast iron, modification, inoculation and production. A strong effort is made on the production of nodular cast iron using the Tundish Cover method and the Initek process. In conclusion, the structure of the material is evaluated on samples that were delivered for metallographic analysis. The final evaluation of the structure of the material is used to compare the mechanical properties of a nodular cast iron produced by Tundish Cover method and Initek process.
Searches press brakes
Vavrúš, Tomáš ; Bilík, Martin (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
In facilitating the production and increasing the efficiency of production go more to the forefront of press brakes. The aim of my thesis is familiar with the current state of press brakes. Create a complete classification used hydraulic press brakes.
Carbon Fibre Composite Materials
Mikula, Martin ; Molliková, Eva (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
In the first part of a Bachelor's work there is a general introduction with composite materials. These materials are seperated on the basis of matrix kind. The production of composite materials is described as well. The second part is focused on the carbon fibre materials in more detail. The application of composite materials in aviation industry is in the third part of the Bachelor's work.
Mapping project dependencies
Šárová, Irena ; Chocholatý, Drahomír (advisor) ; Roháčová, Barbora (referee)
This thesis describes the issue of project dependencies. In managing projects we meet almost every time some kind of dependency. Currently, the project is almost never an isolated group of activity that is able to independently bring same value or result. Therefore, this issue occurs in many areas of managing project. The first theoretical part is focused on some of these areas. It describes disciplines such as Project, Program and Portfolio management. These areas are characterized and then described how they can solve project dependencies. The second part is focused on matrices DSM and DMM, which can serve as one of the methods to effectively manage all connections and dependencies in projects. Area DSM and DMM matrix is first explained and then are expressed its possibilities. In the last part are the information gained in the previous phase applied to a practical example in the banking environment. The method is applied to 25 projects that are guided in an unnamed banking institution. For these projects are set dimensions and are subsequently compiled specific DSM (Dependency Structure Matrix) and DMM (Domain Mapping Matrix) matrices. To certain dimensions is then used clustering method and on the resulting matrix is used simple matrix notation, such as transposition and matrix multiplication. It will create basically a tool, which is a network of all the dependencies between dimensions and projects that can simulate pre-defined scenarios.
Extremes of two-variable functions --- a digest of solved examples
SEKAL, Tomáš
The topic of this bachelor work is to create a collection of exercises on the extremes of functions of two variables. It focuses mainly on local extremes. Exercises are ordered from easiest to more difficult. For each example there is solution procedure presented and illustrated with 3D graphs of functions, created using the mathematical program Maple. In the very beginning is provided "first aid" in the form of instructions for solving this kind of examples. At the end are included in "nontraditional" examples from mathematics and physics.
Describing the dominance hierarchy in animals: rating of individuals.
STEHLÍKOVÁ, Jitka
In this thesis I review some of methods used in research on dominance hierarchy in animals. I will focus on analytical approaches designed to quantify dominance position of individuals within a social group. These techniques include, among others, sociometric matrices and a range of dominance indices. I will discus advantages and disadvantages of various analytical tools, strategies of choice for collecting relevant behavioural data, and terminology used in this context.
Historical landscape genesis in sub- mountainous areas.
MIHALČÍKOVÁ, Zdeňka
The aim of this work was to define changes in the landscape from 1949 to the present in the area of Zdíkov which is situated near Vimperk in the Bohemian Forest. The representation of elements land use was established- that are forests, arable land, water areas, water-courses, settlements, road network and permanent grassland - on each of the three aerial photographs from the years 1949, 1973 and 1988.The representation of elements land use was compared in each year on the basis of these photographes and the change and transformation of the original character of the landscape were defined in a given time horizon. The results were worked up graphically.
Optical computation in Matlab
Dvořáková, Pavla
The contribution deals with the optical computation in Matlab. Matrix methods in paraxial optics is a powerful tool which allow to track any ray during its propagation through an optical system by succesive matrix multiplications. The matrix operation can be then easily and clearly programmed in Matlab.
