Hůlková, Romana ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Chovancová, Zuzana (referee)
In the work, there are compared the city mass transportation systems in two cities in the light of the main indicators for the inhabitatnts. The main indicators are: services, rolling stock, timetables, stops and information centres. All these indicators allow to compare and identify the systems, if they have the similarities or some important differencies.

Quod Christus cum Hinieldo: readings in the manuscript context of the Exeter Book
Znojemská, Helena ; Čermák, Jan (advisor) ; Procházka, Martin (referee) ; Franková, Milada (referee)
T HE problem I set out to tackle in this study is bound with what is perhaps the most intriguing paradox of Old English literary history. It is generally accepted that vernacular poetry depended for its preservation on the tolerance of the monastic environment that controlled the mechanisms of recording and transmission of texts. It is true that this monopoly was not absolute. Documents were also produced in centres associated with royal households, but these seem to have specialized in writings of administrative character and purpose: law-codes, charters, wills etc.; and even so, in many instances the task of recording such a text was likewise entrusted to monastic "professionals". Laymen could certainly own texts (as is clear from the anecdote narrated by Asser about young king Alfred and his love of vernacular poetry and the determined effort that had won him the book that belonged to his mother) and we know of rare cases when they composed them (again, we can name Alfred and in a later period, Ealdorman lEthelweard, founder of Cernel monastery and author of a Latin translation of The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle), though our knowledge does not extend to the manner in which these were written down. A document of substantiallength, showing an indisputable degree of craftsmanship in the quality of script, use of...

The role of special teachers in schools in inclusive education of children, pupils and students with disabilities
ROMOVÁ, Eliška
This bachelor thesis deals with a special education teacher?s role in inclusive education of children (pupils, students) with special eduacational needs in the ordinary school. The aim of this thesis was to focus on the role of a special education teacher in inclusive education. It explains and emphasize the importance of this profession. The theoretical framework defines the concept of integration and inclusion. It describes the history of integration and its existence in documents. The process of inclusive education is analyzed with respect to different special needs. Educational consultancy facilities and consulting services for individuals with disabilities are also mentioned. The practical part investigates teacher?s activities and responsibilities in inclusive education. The method of participant observation and structured interviews with teachers and parents of integrated children (pupils) were used. Special Education Centre and Pedagogical-Psychological Counselling were contacted. Two nursery schools and an elementary school were visited by the author of this thesis (along with special teachers). Children with different dissabilities were observed. Finally, the thesis presents the research results: A great importance of a special teacher?s role in inclusive education is blatantly obvious. Positive relationships among a special teacher, a child, a teacher and child?s parents are essential. A comprehensive approach to an integrated child is apparent: a special teacher is a kind of mediator during an integration. He informs and presents the process and procedure of all activities to teachers and teaching assistants. Therefore, his profession is extremely important and almost indispensable. The thesis can contribute to all the students who are interested in this issue. It can also help the schools with inclusive education. Last, but not least, parents of children with special educational needs (SEN) find many answers for their questions here.

Ethics education and its place in the curriculum of basic education
Kachlík, Jan ; Lorenzová, Jitka (advisor) ; Pelikán, Jiří (referee)
The dissertation paper on The Moral Education and Its Place in the Elementary Education Curriculum aims to reflect the urgency of a person's ethical education and moral development in the society today. Thus the paper focuses on the ethics and ethical thinking development, social and cultural conditions in nowadays society, and moral development conditions of an individual person. After the basic terms introduction, the paper covers a brief outline of the ethical philosophical thinking development, which roots lead back to the antiquity times and Christian religion, and keeps track of them to nowadays moral conceptions diversity. Then it focuses on the social existence of a man and includes the moral development of a person in interaction of formative factors, which influence the process. It observes the individual personality dispositions of a person in the development process and also the most important outer formative factors such as the family, the same age group and the overall influence of society. The second part of the paper is about the moral education as an area of school education with the main focus on the years 6 - 9 of the Czech elementary school system. The aim of this paper is not to suggest and defend moral education as a school subject, but to support moral education and development of...

Thracian conception of death and funeral observance
Fiedler, Dušan ; Musil, Jiří (referee) ; Bouzek, Jan (advisor)
Thracian conception of death and funeral observance remains unclear though we know many characteristics about their ways of thinking and views they had. These concepts formed their attitude to religion, cult and no less to life. One of the most spectacular expression of such beliefs are tumuli and cult buildings. lt is believed to be a sepulchre for departed - after death a tribal leader became a benefactory hero. He was believed to protect his tribe and in some cases Thracians used to attend well known sanctuaries of such heroes to engage prophecies. Of course, not all deceased became tacitly heroized ancestors but we suppose that they were buried according to such traditions (these tombs served more likely as family cult buildings, i.e. cult building at Propada). A small number of barrows was rebuilt in a cult complex as heraion, oracle etc .. They served as sanctuaries where mythical heroes (demigods) were worshiped. These sanctuaries (Sborjanovo, Miškova Niva etc.) were systematicaly planned according to Thracian principles and cosmology. Orphism and Pythagoreism partook heavily in these conceptions manifested in ground plans of tumuli and cult buildings, decoration and overal! design.

The Evolution and the Limits of the Copyright Protection in the Global Information Society
Andruško, Alena ; Kříž, Jan (advisor) ; Dobřichovský, Tomáš (referee) ; Pítra, Vladimír (referee)
CHARLES UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE Faculty of Law Institute of Copyright, Industrial Property Rights and Competition Law DOCTORAL DISSERTATION The Evolution and the Limits of the Copyright Protection in the Global Information Society ABSTRACT Author: Mgr. Alena Andruško Supervisor: Prof. JUDr. Dr. iur. h. c. Jan Kříž, CSc. Field of Study: Civil Law Theoretical Legal Science Year: 2015 ABSTRACT Copyright law is one of the branches of law that has become, with the development of the Internet, the center of interest for different types of stakeholders in the global information society. With the evolution of "Web 2.0", sometimes called the "Participative Web", represented by user-generated content (UGC), and also with the evolution of peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing and recently cyberlockers, the effectiveness of copyright protection online has become a problem where solutions can be found only with difficulty. Online copyright infringement is a complex phenomenon with a multiplicity of contributing factors. To see and understand these factors one must not only know and understand the territorial and international legal rules governing copyright, but also know and understand the online ecosystem in which copyright infringement takes place, which is impossible without knowing the history, evolution and technical...

Nursing Care of Patients with Infectious Complications after Total Hip or Knee Endoprosthetic Replacement Nursing Care of Patients with Infectious Complications after Total Hip or Knee Endoprosthetic Replacement
BREJŠKOVÁ, Soňa
Infectious complications belong to the most serious problems after endoprosthesis implantation. Their solution is very demanding for its surgical and psychological aspects with regard to its devastating effects and uncertain prognosis. The percentage of infections complications fluctuates between 0.5 and 2 % nowadays. From nurse?s point of view the care about these patients is very demanding and has its exactly defined specifics. The aim of the thesis was 1: To map the knowledge of the causes of occurrence of infectious complications after TEP of hip or knee joint among nurses. 2: To map the knowledge on nursing care of patients with infectious complications after TEP of hip or knee joint among nurses. 3: To examine adherence to aseptic procedures in caring about patients with infectious complications after TEP of hip or knee joint. Three research questions were set to reach the goals: 1. What is the extent of knowledge of the causes of occurrence of infectious complications after TEP of hip or knee joint among nurses? 2. What is the knowledge of specific care of patients with infectious complications after TEP of hip or knee joint among nurses? 3. What is the extent of knowledge of specific needs of patients with infectious complications after TEP of hip or knee joint among nurses? 4. To what extent nurses adhere to aseptic procedures in caring about patients with infectious complications after TEP of hip or knee joint? Qualitative research was applied to elaboration of the thesis. Semi-structured interviews and involved observation were the data collection methods and techniques. The research was performed at the infectious disease department of the České Budějovice Hospital. The survey was anonymous, the interviews and observation were conducted from 1 to 25 February 2013 . The research has shown that nurses know the causes of infectious complications occurrence after TEP. It is also obvious that nurses are aware of the specifics of nursing care about these patients and they also have theoretical knowledge of the needs. However the analysis of the replies has revealed that nurses have problems with applying some nursing procedures, namely becauseof partial ignorance, uncertainty and impossibility to try some procedures. The results have also shown that all the nurses try to saturate physical needs of patients but not all of them are able to saturate patients? physical needs as they mentioned in their replies and as we could observe. These are particularly drawbacks in communication in the field of motivation, mental support and self care support. We have also found that most of the nurses adhere to aseptic procedures in nursing care of patients with infectious complications after TEP, but the results have also revealed weak points. More than a half of the nurses of the monitored sample fail to perform hygienic disinfection in compliance with the standardized technique and a third of them do not disinfect their hands even before the act. We have found further drawbacks particularly in handling sterile and biological material. The research results have shown that despite lack of information and experience the nurses proved their general knowledge of care about these patients in their replies. However there is still a lot to learn, both theoretically and practically. This thesis was written to bring basic outline of the issue of infectious complications after total endoprosthetic replacement so as it can be used as information material for both, experienced or starting nurses that are in contact with patients with infectious complications after TEP. A multidisciplinary seminar aimed at the issues of infectious complications after total hip or knee endoprosthetic replacement (see Annex 12) is the practical output of the bachelor thesis

Forage utilization of alternative crops
VOBROVÁ, Petra
Alternative crops are divided into cultural and newly cultivated plants. Growing of these crops was gradually eliminated as the crops had not reached good feeding values. Nowadays, however, they are re-implemented and new kinds and varieties are grown again. The Institute of Fodder Crops is focused on their cultivation and it offers even advisory services. The important thing is to know the appropriate growing method because each plant differs in its demands concerning the location, agro technique and harvesting. The advantage of these crops is that they are undemanding regarding climate and soil conditions. Thanks to their cultivation, they are able to produce high amounts of phytomass with good nutritional value, and thus they can be compared to some traditional crops. The interest in alternative crops is still increasing and therefore the scope of these crops will increase in the future. Out of the chosen crops, I would like to emphasize Lotus cornitulatus, for its high contents of phytomass and an outstanding quality of fodder. Forage quality is one of the best clover, compared Melitotus, which has a bitter taste of her animals forage and therefore does not accept

Alternative Dispute Resolution
PARDAMCOVÁ, Marie
The project of ?Alternative dispute resolution? imports an innovative and effective instrument of consumer protection to the Czech Republic. The ADR works in Czech Republic since 2008. The whole procedure is easy and it is not obligatory for adverse parties. There are three methods of disputes resolution: qualified counsel, mediation and arbitration. Concerning mediation, the problem is the willingness of the procedure. That is the reason, why more than 80 % of delivered suggestions end with non-cooperation from the adverse party. Even if an agreement were found during the mediation, this agreement is not binding. Arbitration is on payment and most of the consumers identify it with the juridical process. But in case of arbitration, the resulting arbitration award is binding for both adverse parties. The fee is paid by the party who has lost the dispute. The work focuses above all on the awareness of ADR and on consumers´ rights. The work revealed that a quarter of all respondents don´t know their rights. The awareness of ADR is very poor also. The research results showed that only 14.4 % of respondents know what ADR is. Nevertheless, the results from the period of 1st April 2011 to 31st January 2012 show, that the project has a future, because the statistics of registered cases have a rising tendency. But without an effective publicity, it will take a long time before the consumers´ awareness of this possibility extends. The Ministry of industry and commerce issued an informative leaflet within the pilot period of the project. However, it was not distributed to the consumers in the right way. In the Czech Republic, there is a lack of consumers´ education due to a difficult access to legal regulation. The legislation is for a Czech consumer hardly findable but above all, it is incomprehensible. Nowadays, fortunately there exist a lot of web sites where all needed information can be found rapidly and in a shorter version. Due to my own experience I know, that an overwhelming majority of consumers looks for advices only after they did not succeed with a claim or after another problem with a vendor occurred.

LAYERS OF METALS NANOPARTICLES ON VARIOUS SEMICONDUCTORS FOR HYDROGEN DETECTION
Černohorský, Ondřej ; Žďánský, Karel ; Yatskiv, Roman ; Grym, Jan
Metal nanoparticles have many interesting properties which is given by their space restriction. Their large active surface is very well exploited during catalysis. Pd and Pt are metals know for their ability to dissociate molecular hydrogen on single atoms. We prepared Schottky diodes on semiconductors InP, GaN, GaAs, and InGaAs to obtain hydrogen sensor. Method of preparation such diodes is electrophoretic deposition of Pd or Pt nanoparticles from their colloid solution onto semiconductor substrate. Over the layer of nanoparticles, porous metal contact was prepared. Hydrogen molecules are dissociated on these metal nanoparticles and single atom which settles on the interface between metal and semiconductor and they increase or decrease Schottky barrier height. By this method we can measure from 1 ppm H2 in the air, where the current change is over one order of magnitude
