This presented work focuses on problems of textbooks of physics at secondary schools. The contents of the first part is the research work on the subject of exploitation of textbooks of physics in teaching process, satisfaction with their quality and possibility of modernization in conformity with the Framework Educational Programme and present-day demands of students and teachers. The research was carried out by means of a questionnaire form. The forms were set among the students of the second and third years of chosen secondary grammar schools and among their teachers as well. From the evaluation of the questionnaires three most represented suggestions and demands on form and contents of a textbook were chosen. The second part of the work deals with the creation of the text of coursebooks. The text is intended for students and teachers of secondary schools, the level corresponds to secondary grammar school and its subject-matter is magnetic field. It contains 16 chapters organized hierarchically with regard to the Framework Educational Programme. In contrast to present-day textbooks its component part are instructions for experiments, videos to experiments, references to applets, historical notes, sample examples, eventually references to other examples and summary of observations. The output of the work...

Design of a space heating system with an air-water heat pump and bivalent heat source
Skočík, Lukáš ; Elcner, Jakub (referee) ; Katolický, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis is engaged in complete reconstruction of a heat system of a family house with higher heat loss, i.e. heat source, piping and radiators. As a heat source is chosen air-water heat pump. Heat system is designed with panel radiators with regard to minimum building interventions. A required power for hot water heating is calculated and selected a heat pump from suitable power range in combination with storage tank with hot water tank. The bivalent point is determined, as backup source are heating elements installed in storage tank. Drawings and circuit diagrams with safety elements are attached. In the end is calculation of estimated return.

Biotechnology for sustainabilty in agricultural systems
Hroníková, Soňa ; Kuchtová, Perla (advisor) ; Nový, Pavel (referee)
Sustainability of agricultural systems is narrowly connected to protection of land resources and land environment, if possible, without any negative side effects for the environment. Given the great decrease of agricultural soil in the last two decades, it is necessary to set a working system of gradual regeneration of an agroecosystem, based on the gained findings from the field of biotechnologies, products from biotechnological processes, chosen effective substances and auxiliary tools. In the literary research there are individual sorts of agriculture valued, as well as ways of farming and their influence on soil environment and surrounding landscape. Furthermore, it is concerned about biotechnologies in this field. In the last part of the thesis there is a comparative study of two supportive biological means on regulation and quality of the chosen agricultural crops carried out and that is both separately and in the combination with the application of NPK. The results of the study proved a significant impact of a supportive device of WormsAktive on qualitative as well as quantitative parameters of testing crops. Individual values of this supportive device came out from the comparison better than separate application of NPK. The main contribution of this thesis is the discovery that with the help of convenient combinations of the farming which is close to nature and findings of modern science it is possible to achieve a permanently sustainable system of agriculture without any negative impacts on our environment.

Zeemanův jev v polovodičových kvantových strukturách
Stráský, Josef ; Grill, Roman (advisor) ; Výborný, Karel (referee)
This theoretical thesis presents detailed study of negatively charged excitons - trions - confined in single quantum well in presence of perpendicular magnetic field. Complex valence band of GaAs/GaAlAs compound is described within Luttinger Hamiltonian framework. Singlet and triplet states of negative trion are introduced. Advanced theoretical analysis of Zeeman effect for different states of trion is performed. Landau gauge of magnetic field and unusual wavefunctions basis is chosen and its accuracy is tested. Evolution of ground state energy and photoluminescence spectra with magnetic field is evaluated for different values of Landé g-factors. Probability of occurrence of electrons with respect to the hole position and their spatial correlation function are investigated.

Influence of communication elements on interpersonal behaviour
Rosendorfská, Žaneta ; Fiedler, Jiří (advisor) ; Stanislav, Stanislav (referee)
This dissertation deals with the topic of the influence of communications elements on interpersonal role of manager. One of the managers priority skills is to be able to use communication that serves as the main tool for managing follow-up activities and creates early his entire workload. The dissertation is composed of two parts. Theoretical concepts such as management, managers roles and functions, forms of communication and the use of communication in the managers work are explained by a study of academic literature in the first part of the dissertation. The practical part of the dissertation is based on qualitative research using a questionnaire aimed at managers in the chosen organization Service Centre for Road Transport. This method was chosen because of the possibility of gaining a large amount of information and data in a very short period of time, maintaining anonymity and speed in analysing the information obtained. Outputs are evaluated and graphically processed.

The main purpose of this thesis is to analyze the metallurgical industry in certain European countries -- in Czech Republic, Poland, Slovak Republic and Slovenia during the period from 2006 to 2010. Further was made a comparative analysis of chosen representative (U. S. Steel Košice, s.r.o.) with Slovak metallurgical industry. There is also examined, if so called financial crisis, which started in 2007 in USA, influenced the metallurgical industry. Financial analysis is made by classic profitability ratios, liquidity ratios, activity ratios, debt ratios and also by horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements. For obtaining of input data was used database Amadeus.

Evaluation design of civil airports effectivity indices
Novotný, Roman ; Janík, Radomír (referee) ; Veselý, Petr (advisor)
Introductory part of this thesis concludes the development of air traffic, division of airports in the Czech Republic according to the Ministry of Transport, according to the Law on Civil Aviation and according to the Coding of the airports (Requirement L 14). The aim was to realize theoretical definition and division of output and economic indicators. After that comes choice of appropriate airports from the European Union. The choice has been made on the basis of the number of check-in passengers at the airport in Prague-Ruzyně. Eight most suitable airports have been chosen from all twenty-seven member countries of the EU. The following step is comparative analysis of these chosen airports on the basis of specified output and economic indicators for the years 2005-2009. The year 2010 has not been included, because the chosen airports did not complete their annual reports, balances and statements of profit and loss. From these sources the values for calculation of individual indicators have been chosen. These indicators have been shown in charts, evaluated by means of graphs in Excel Programme and further they have been characterized in words. The aim of the thesis was also the evaluation and comparison of output and economic indicators of effectiveness and after evaluation, proposal of methods of evaluations has followed.
