Štefaňáková, Lucia
Following bachelor thesis is concentrating on analysis of possible impacts on forming a new model of labour market due 3D printing technology extension. In the first section are defined basic concepts related to 3D printing, core technologies, but also used materials, which are important for understanding this issue. Essential part of the thesis is to refer methods and the main goal. The next section of the thesis is dealing with the search of available literature, but on the other hand is also talking about processing knowledge and information needed to identify jobs, that might arise or completely disappear because of 3D printing extension.
Automated design and 3D printing of prototypes for urban engineering
Krutáková, Anna ; Vořechovská, Dita (referee) ; Podroužek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with automated design and 3D prototype printing for urban engineering. In the first part, there is a general definition of 3D printing, including development and overview of basic technology and materials. It also follows the focus on certain measurement methods and the creation of 3D models. In the second part, the thesis focuses mainly on the use in the building industry and it discusses related topics such as the automatic optimization of the external elements of building elements or objects(shape), the internal topology of these building elements (fill) and the possible inspiration from organic structures. There is also distinguished between terrestrial applications focusing on the production of prefabricated building components and implementation at site. Extraterrestrial autonomous applications discuss the possibilities this technology for colonizing the Moon or Mars. This thesis presents the results of a unique assessment of the current state of the art in the field of applicability of 3D technology for additive production in the context of urban engineering and demonstrates the associated advantages and open problems on many examples. Finally, the benefits of this technology are evaluated.
Design of the extruder for 3D printing the composite parts
Šmalec, Petr ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Kočiš, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on 3D printing of composites parts. Thesis deals with methods of additive manufacturing and describes principle of selected 3D printing technologies. In addition to additive technologies, the theoretical part presents an overview of composite materials and methods of composite production. Then there are four concepts that lead to 3D printing of continuous fiber reinforced composites components. The final concept is selected according to multi-criteria analysis and then designed. Designed extruder allows 3D printing of composite materials. The principle of the function consists of fiber impregnation by matrix inside the heat chamber and then deposition of composite on printing platform. The extruder also consist of fiber cutting mechanism. The extruder's ability is verified by the experiment.
Experimental 3D printer for the selective laser sintering of polymers
Kroutil, Tomáš ; Čížek, Petr (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with design and realization of experimental 3D printer for selective laser sintering of plastic powders. The output of the work is a device that can create the main process conditions for laser sintering. A diode laser is used in the device, which allows aluminum composite powders to be processed. The printer allows you to heat up the applied layer of powder and set-up space. The research section focuses on similar equipment, process parameters, laser technology and control system. The design section contains solution variants and a description of the chosen solution.
Development of process parameters for the stereolithography
Vítek, Jan ; Škaroupka, David (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the search for optimal process parameters to reach a high strength of the Detax Solflex model material, with the DLP (digital light processing) 3D Solflex 650 printer. In the first part of this thesis the principle of printing using a laser and using a DLP projector and their comparison are presented. Further information about materials and impact of the process parameters on a printing are discussed. Based on a knowledge two assumptions were set: influence of exposure time and influence of layer thickness on strength. Firstly, samples were tested by the hardness Shore D test and the results from the test were compared. New samples for the stress test with the optimal set of parameters given by the previous test were printed and tested. Process parameters influence on strength was determined from the achieved results.
Desigm of the 3D printer for print material with carbon fibers
Chaloupka, Matyáš ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The presented thesis deals with FDM 3D printing method with emphasis on printing carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). The aim of this thesis is to engineer the FDM 3D printer designed for printing CFRP and to execute the experiment targeted on comparison of CFRP material properties against commonly used 3D printing plastics such as PLA, ABS, PET etc. The device designed in this work has printing area of 200 x 200 mm with maximum height of the object of 200 mm. The printing bed is heated and the whole device is enclosed. There are two kinds of experiments carried out within the thesis. The first one is focused on tensile strength and Young's modulus of selected materials, while the second experiment compares Charpy's impact strength of specimen with different infill percentage on two selected materials, PET and PET filled with chopped carbon fiber.

Processing of aluminium alloys using 3D technology selective laser melting
Měchura, Lukáš ; Koutný, Daniel (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with finding of appropriate process parameters for minimizing porosity with SLM technology for processing aluminum alloy 6061. The search part deals about the issue of additive manufacturing aluminum alloys and evaluation of porosity measurements of relative density. Based on general knowledge were proposed test samples produced by sintering of metallurgical powder using a laser with ytterbium optical fiber. In this work was used high power of laser up to 400 W, with which 6061 alloy was not been in terms of porosity in detail tested yet. As the result, the technological parameters dependence on relative density and the overview of this alloy processing by SLM technology was determined.

This diploma thesis deals with finding and verification of appropriate technological parameters of SLM technology for the processing of aluminum alloy 2618. In the theoretical part, an introduction to additive manufacturing of aluminum alloys and general description of processes occurring during SLM production is given. Based on general knowledge were designed different types of testing samples produced by sintering the metallurgical powder using 400 W ytterbium fiber laser, which so far in the literature for aluminum alloy 2618 were not described. As the result, the technological parameters dependence on relative density and the detailed overview of the 2618 alloy processing by SLM technology is determined.
