Finanční analýza podniku cestovního ruchu zkoumá finanční situaci největší cestovní kanceláře na českém trhu - Čedoku a.s. Je zaměřena z pohledu investora, tedy především na analýzu rentability a její podrobné rozklady logaritmickou metodou, dále na ekonomickou přidanou hodnotu EVA a vybrané souhrnné indexy hodnocení podniku. Diplomová práce ale nejen hodnotí vlastní situaci podniku, nýbrž i poukazuje na specifika, odlišnosti hospodaření podniků cestovního ruchu.

Financial analysis of Uhersky Ostroh based on the individual and consolidated financial data

The aim of this thesis is to perform a financial analysis of the city Uhersky Ostroh in the years 2012 to 2015 on the basis of individual and consolidated financial data. The work is divided into two parts, the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts and characteristics of the municipalities,define their nature and specifics, then we will deal with budgets and budget structure, financial analysis and also consolidation, basic concepts, procedures and methods. The theoretical part is followed by a practical part where is the financial analysis of Uhersky Ostroh,first on the basis of individual data and later on consolidated data. Finally, we compare the both of the analysis and evaluate the management of the city Uhersky Ostroh.

Specifika podnikatelského prostředí Ukrajiny a její zapojení do mezinárodních vztahů

Diplomová práce charakterizuje podnikatelské prostředí Ukrajiny, popisuje existující překážky obchodu (tarifní, netarifní), ekonomickou a politickou situaci. Práce hodnotí, jaké jsou příležitosti pro zahraniční podnikatele. Součásti práce je také popisování obchodních zvyklostí ukrajinských podnikatelů a znalostí, které jsou nezbytné při uzavírání obchodních smluv. Dále jsou analyzovány zahraniční vztahy Ukrajiny, její zapojení do mezinárodního obchodu, účast v mezinárodních organizacích a regionálních seskupeních. Pozornost je věnována vztahům České republiky a Ukrajiny ? vzájemný obchod mezi ČR a Ukrajinou, možnosti pro české podnikatelské subjekty. Na příkladě konkrétní české firmy jsou popsány problémy, se kterými se lze potkat při vstupu na ukrajinský trh.

Practical dramaturgy of a great drama house

The aim of the diploma thesis Practical dramaturgy of a great drama house (Is it possible to create a conscious artistic concept in the National theatre?) is to try to reflect practical experiences obtained during the first season as a dramaturg of the drama department in the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre and based on them to name the specifics and problematics of the dramaturgy of a great drama house in a regional city. NMST is a four department theatre operating two big stages (Jiří Myron Theatre and Antonín Dvořák Theatre) and a small stage (rehearsal room in Antonín Dvořák Theatre), where on all of them the drama department is operating. Therefore it is not a classical one department drama house as it is (like e.g. Vinohrady Theatre), but it is essential that in Ostravian theatrical context it fulfills exactly this function. Major role in the functioning of drama department of NMST is obviously played by two “systems”, which it is a part of: ie the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre (thus also other departments and its overall profilation) and Ostravian theatre scene, therefore I consider necessary to outline the wider context at first because it largely affects the drama department of NMST as its subset. The part of this work is also a pursuit of naming the task of a permanent dramaturg in this type of theatre, using which means he can (and must) participate on the directions and formation of the department, with short-term and long-term outlook, which comes obviously from the specific experience in this specific theatre. It is not the aim to pursue the past of the drama department of NMST, thus analysis of the historical tendencies of this department, but its contemporary situation, ie the present and possible future. Based on the analysis of the current repertoire and upcoming dramaturgical plans I will pursue the options and limits not only of this drama department, but of the great drama at all.

Nové přístupy ke sledování solventnosti pojišťoven

Cílem této diplomové práce je popsat a zhodnotit různé přístupy používané ke sledování solventnosti pojišťoven. V úvodní části jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy z oblasti pojišťovnictví jako riziko, risk management, pojištění a také jsou zde uvedeny specifika hospodaření pojišťoven a možná rizika působící na pojišťovny. V dalších kapitolách jsou přiblíženy principy jednotlivých přístupů, kterými jsou klasický přístup přes míru solventnosti, RBC přístup a dále z moderních přístupů to jsou simulační modely prezentované metodami DFA a scenario testing. V poslední kapitole jsou popsány připravované projekty regulace solventnosti Solvency II a Swiss Solvency Test. Na závěr jsou zhodnoceny výhody a nevýhody uvedených přístupů a jejich dopad na pojistitele.

Risk Management in the Railway Construction Contracts

The purpose of this master´s thesis is to perform a risk analysis of a specific rail infrastructure building project. In the first part I described the goal of the thesis and the methods used. In the second part I focused on determining notions related to the rail infrastructure - its historical development until the present. I then described specifics of nowadays railway and the standards it makes use of in today´s construction projects. Next I took a closer look at risk management, defined risks, described today´s guidelines and classified the risks based on standards commonly used at present. In the third and final section of the thesis I applied the risk management process to a selected rail infrastructure project.

Project of implementation of new information system in a company

In first part of this thesis will reader become familiar with term project management and its history. Later will be intorduced to standards of project management, meaning of the word project, there will be display of project lifecycle and defining succesful projects. There will also be an explanation of information systems and its basic models. At the end will be list of specific topics dealing with implementation of new information system.
Second part will introduce case study of implementation specific warehouse information system. This project will be presented phase by phase and at the end evaluated from the perspective of strengths and weaknesses. Author will also prepare improvements for detected weaknesses.

Příprava reklamní kampaně v oblasti cestovního ruchu

Práce analyzuje specifika návrhu, přípravy marketingových komunikací v reálném prostředí cestovní kanceláře ve srovnání s teoretickými doporučeními a metodami. Základem je zevrubná analýza všech odlišností trhu cestovního ruchu, specifik tvorby produktu, distribučních cest, cílových skupin i komunikačních nástrojů. Analytická část práce i vlastní návrhy reklamní kampaně vycházejí z reálných a aktuálních informací, předmětem zkoumání je cestovní kancelář FIRO-tour.

Macromedia Flash Technology and Its (Practical) Application

V oblasti internetu je Macromedia Flash světovým standardem pro tvorbu a distribuci interaktivního a multimediálního obsahu. Touto technologií můžeme vytvářet fascinující internetové prezentace, účinné reklamní kampaně, obchodní aplikace, výukové kurzy, on-line hry či interaktivní video. Flash dnes používá přes jeden milión vývojářů, kteří svými produkty mohou ihned oslovit více než 500 miliónů uživatelů internetu po celém světě. Rozšířenost na velké množství platforem umožňuje Flash aplikace přímo spouštět na osobních i kapesních počítačích s různými operačními systémy nebo mobilních telefonech. Cílem bakalářské práce je tuto technologii představit jak z pozice uživatele, tak z pozice vývojáře. Práce popisuje praktické využití této technologie v oblastech internetových prezentací, her a reklamních bannerů. Poté se zabývá vývojovým prostředím Flashe a popisuje některá specifika práce v tomto programu. Následně stručně popisuje praktický vývoj jedné flashové hry a nakonec přibližuje historický vývoj verzí Flashe a trendy. Přínos této práce spočívá v teoretickém popisu východisek této technologie a v její následné demonstraci na multimediální flashové aplikaci (hře). Tato práce by měla být také přínosem pro všechny se zájmem o tuto oblast a ukázat směr jakým by se měli vydat při komplexním poznávání této technologie.

Draft of Mobile Application Prototype for Students of Faculty of Management of University of Economics Prague

This study looks at creating a mobile application prototype of Faculty of Management of University of Economics Prague. The theoretical section discusses the digital product design process, the particularities of the mobile user interface and general cognitive theory. In the practical section, personas and product functional requirements are modelled using user research. The key application structure is designed on the basis of these requirements and cases of use. Finally, an interactive prototype is created and the most important parts of the application are refined using visual design.
