Analysis of Data on Social Networks Based on Data Mining
Fešar, Marek ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The thesis presents general principles of data mining and it also focuses on specific needs of social networks. Certain social networks, chosen with respect to popularity and availability to Czech users, are discussed from various points of view. The benefits and drawbacks of each are also mentioned. Afterwards, one suitable API is selected for futher analysis. The project explains harvesting data via Twitter API and the process of mining of data from this particular network. Design of a mining algorithm inspired by density based clustering methods is described. The implementation is explained in its own chapter, preceded by thorough explanation of MVC architectural pattern. In the end some examples of usage of gathered knowledge are shown as well as possibility of future extensions.
Automatic configuration of networking devices in Cisco academy laboratory
Verner, Lukáš ; Pust, Radim (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with proposal and system implementation for automatic configuration of Cisco network devices. This system is called AutoConf and it is intended for distant copying configuration files from eagle-server to the switches and routers in Cisco academy laboratory. It is handled by web pages placed on eagle-server. In this system, user can create new laboratory exercises with configuration files for network devices and then these files could be used for configurations. Informations about done configurations are saved in relation database MySQL. Network devices which will be configured by system AutoConf have to be connected with eagle-server. To setup their connection settings was created decision-making mechanism. If it detects physical connection between network device and eagle-server before network device starts, it will set network device for communication with eagle-server.
Design of a Football Association System for Administration Purposes
Vařacha, Jan ; Vyskočil,, Marek (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis aims to design a suitable system based on a relational database for the purposes of administrative activities of the District Football Association. The created relational database should be managed primarily by the association secretary, to a lesser extent by members of association specialist committees. The database should be able to contain all the information and records which have been dealing with the paper form so far (match fixtures, awarding fines, clubs’ fees, players’ punishments, etc.). Routine administrative work, such as reading, inserting, deleting and updating the data will be carried out through the web interface and should not place any special demands on the level of users computer skills.
Creation of Database Application and Solutions for Business Intelligence
Městka, Milan ; Kott, Josef (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
Theme of this master’s thesis is design of software support for business intelligence. Design is realized in cooperation with corporation ZZN Pelhřimov a.s. Introduction is focused on theoretical description of business intelligence and datamining and also on development environment in which is project designed. Corporation is characterised also in introduction. Main part contains data collecting and definition of individual modules. In conclusion of this thesis will be several types of analysis from collected data and then according to these analysis, we can draw measures to improve current state of corporation.
Automatic configuration of intermediate networking devices used in Cisco academy

Monitoring of workstations in Cisco academy laboratory
Hrabal, Zdeněk ; Kubánková, Anna (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of a Web page that allows the manipulation with data on a server and workstation in the laboratory. It is also possible to get more information of these stations, such as installed on the virtual systems, free space on a drive or the contents of the directory. Details of the stations provide scripts written by Bc. Jiří Homolka in a Bash language. For this reason, the work also deals with the issue of scripts to run in various modes - in the background or in the pseudoterminal. Part of this work is the formation of the database structure, which allows to trace the activities on the workstations and show the history. The web is accessible form the Internet so there was given an attention to the security and protection against attempts of unauthorized intrusion. Therefore the system can login only registered users with appropriate rights or new accounts can be created or existing modified.
Information system for management of cars monitored by satellites
Čech, Dominik ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Cvrk, Lubomír (advisor)
To purpose of this master´s thesis is modernization of database system. This system is designed in Microsoft Office Access program. To create the new system will be used HTML and PHP languages, as a database server will be used MySQL. The first section contains information about data modeling. In the next part there is description of UML language and Use Case diagram for users of system. The main part of the thesis is description of the created system. There are views of screens which can be used by users. Multiuser operation is realized by users rights and definitions enter to the system. The whole database is created as a web application. Application will be uploaded to the company server. Users start the system through their web browser.
Application of system catalogue for database management
Nečas, Jaroslav ; Pfeifer, Václav (referee) ; Kacálek, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this project is to create a design and subsequently the web application for a database management which uses the system catalogue of the Microsoft SQL database system. The introduction deals with the principle of the relational databases and includes the list of the most widespread database systems. The next chapter of the theoretical part describes the syntax of the SQL query language, and the next chapter deals with the properties of the system catalogue which were utilized. Finally, the last of the theoretical chapters is centred on the .NET platform and its technologies – particularly the ASP.NET and the ADO.NET technologies. The former is used for creating dynamical web pages, and the latter is an object library used for the data access. The practical part of this work comprises the web application scheme on which is the final web application based. The most emphasized issues in this part are the security and the supposed program design of the web application. The final part of the work contains a description of the finished web application, especially the configuration and the functions which the application provides to a user. And finally, the whole project is briefly evaluated in the conclusion.
Documentation possibilities of relational databases
Weis, Richard ; Palovská, Helena (advisor) ; Kučera, Jan (referee)
The intention of this bachelor thesis is firstly dealing with the matter of documentation of extensive relational databases, and secondly, the assessment of existing naming conventions and standards, that are used for easier orientation in non-document databases. I will acquaint the reader with a software for documenting databases and easier orientation of administrators, as well as programmers, during the database development. Finally, I will be offering my own program for relational database documenting management.
Object-Relational Mapping with Framework Hibernate
Berger, Jan ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Palovská, Helena (referee)
The bachelor's thesis Object-Relational Mapping with Framework Hibernate is primarily concerned with the description of problems of data persistence of programs written in Java programming language in relational databases. The tool for implementing persistence is object-relational mapping. In the first part of the thesis a concept of object-relational mapping is defined and some problems of its implementing are described. Then an example application is introduced, on which framework Hibernate is demonstrated, followed by the description of structure and architecture of framework Hibernate. The second part of the thesis describes the philosophy and conditions for creating mapping metadata for the individual object structures, using XML and annotation notations. At the end of this part both notations are compared.
