Porovnávací studie bezobilných komplexních krmných směsí (KKS) pro morčata
POSTLOVÁ, Štěpánka
The purpose of this bachelor thesis was to compare commercially sold grain-free complex compound feeds (CCF) for guinea pigs. In particular, a comparison of the production technology, nutrient content and prices of the offered feeds. A total of 10 grain-free CFCs were compared and the results were discussed with literature. In particular, the production method of the feeds and the content of the main nutrients needed for the guinea pig were monitored. In addition, the feeds were compared based on their average price per kilogram. The ranking of the most suitable feeds was inducted from on the values, which were summarized in the cre-ated tables and graphs.
Feeding the patients in hospital
NITA, Tatiana
The main goal of the bachelor thesis was to find out what interventions the nurses used in feeding, what communication techniques the nurses used and how they cooperated with other members of the nursing team in feeding patients in hospital facilities. Three research questions were identified, which focused on the nurse's interventions in the feeding, on communication techniques during the administration of food and on the cooperation of nurses with other members of the nursing team. The empirical part of the bachelor thesis was processed through a qualitative research survey. The data collection itself was carried out through participatory unstructured observation of nurses working in a hospital facility. Each observation was converted into written form and further processed by the method of open coding, the "pencil - paper" technique. The results of the empirical part were divided into nine categories for clarity. Among positive findings we include that the rooms had been cleaned and ventilated before the food was served. Before lunch, the nurses allowed non-self-sufficient patients to take a suitable position. The nurses also prepared bedside tables for patients at a sufficient distance and provided non-self-sufficient patients with a paper bib to prevent contamination of their clothing and bedding. No dietary changes were observed. The diet was served at a sufficient temperature and amount. During the diet, the nurses actively offered patients liquids with the help of various compensatory aids for drinking. Among the positive findings was that the nurses fed the patients in clean work uniforms, had no accessories on their hands, were properly combed, and all but one had the prescribed manicure. Furthermore, the nurses actively cooperated and communicated with both patients and nursing staff. Only minor problems were detected, but this did not have a major impact on the provision of quality nursing care to patients. Among the negative findings we can include non-compliance with the principles of barrier care for nurses. The nurses did not exchange incontinence devices for non-self-sufficient patients, they did not allow them to perform hand and oral hygiene. It was also revealed that the nurses did not wash or disinfect their hands before or after eating. This bachelor's thesis is intended for nurses and students of non-medical health disciplines and will serve as a basis for revealing problems and improving skills in the field of feeding patients. The thesis can serve as a basis for further research.
Základy užitkového chovu poštovních holubů a jejich etologie
PITZMOS, Jiří
The bachelor's thesis deals with the basics of commercial breeding of carrier pigeons and their ethology. The aim of this thesis is to determine the economic intensity of closed intensive breeding of medium size pigeons and to evaluate the factors influencing profitability. Part of the research is a breeding experiment in which utility and production parameters such as nesting frequency, hatchability, daily pigeon gains, yield in relation to food intake and ethological monitoring are monitored.

The diploma thesis is on a special pedagogical topic with a specializatin on the field of speech therapy. In its theoretical part, it summarizes the findings on the development of speech in early and preschool children, also focuses on the connection between breastfeeding and other methods of feeding at an early age, the development of the orofacial system and the development of articulation of individual sounds. The practical part presents research of a qualitative nature. It contains information from interviews with mothers of children who have been diagnosed with dyslalia. Based on the grounded theory, the obtained information was processed and research conclusions were created. Microbial association with house dust mites
Molva, Vít ; Hubert, Jan (advisor) ; Žůrek, Luděk (referee)
The house dust mites (HDM; Dermatophagoides farinae and Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus) obtain nutrients from the debris of the skin, hairs and nails, that get off the human and animal body. These debris are covered by microorganisms and the microorganisms are the key factor in the survival of HDM in human-made environments. In this study we made manipulative experiments with the extract from spent growth medium (SPGM). SPGM is the medium after mite cultivation, composed from mite feces, debris of the diet, dead mite bodies and microorganisms. The extract from SPGM (one and three-month-old mite cultures) was used as the source of microorganism to transfer them into diet of D. farinae a D. pteronyssinus. The composition of the bacterial and fungal microbiomes differed between the HDM species, but the SPGM extract addition into diet influenced only the bacterial profile of D. farinae. In the D. farinae microbiome of specimens on SPGM-treated diets compared to those of the control situation, the Lactobacillus spp. profile decreased, while the Cardinium, Staphylococcus, Acinetobacter, and Sphingomonas profiles increased. The addition of SPGM extract decreased the microbial respiration in the microcosms with and without mites in almost all cases. Adding SPGM did not influence the population growth of D. farinae,...

POKORNÝ, Martin
The Bachelor work describe nutrition of dairy cows in selected companies. The main parameter of successful cattle breeding is the provision of natural condition especially for breeded animals. This is mainly about housing conditions of natural movement, nutrition and feeding that corresponds to the suitable physiological needs. With time and the new trends are to increase the quality of cattle breeding, to improve the quality of optimal nutrition, to manage and to implement it. At this companies I focused nutrition of dairy cows which this companies exploits. At the Bachelor work describe nutrition of dairy cows which is great for health and welfare of dairy cows.

The Institution of the Eucharist in context of the miraculous feeding narratives
Revenda, Václav ; Brož, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Scarano, Angelo (referee)
The Institution of the Eucharist in context of the miraculous feeding narratives The Diploma thesis "The Institution of the Eucharist according to Mark in context of the miraculous feeding narratives" studies lexical, intertextual and biblical-theological relations between the Marcan account on the institution of the Eucharist (Mark 14:22- 25) and two miraculous feedings (Mark 6:35-44, 8:1-10) during Jesus' public ministry. The study exposes that in context of the Gospel of Mark all three indicated pericopes are in a key position and significance in Jesus' mission a reveal an essential aspect of the revelation and of the coming of the Kingdom of God. Beside applying the method of continuous commentary of the mentioned texts the work applies a study of parallel synoptic pericopes, referential texts in the Old Testament and an analysis of biblical- theological themes in canonical relation. A special attention is given to different aspects of the Jewish celebration of the Pesach meal and its relations to the Christian Eucharist, which has its origin in Jesus' Last Supper and finds an echo in both Marcan narratives on miraculous feeding of great amount of people as well. 81
