Emisivity and its Impact on the Heat Conductivity
Gančev, Jan ; Hejátková, Edita (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
This work deals with the issue of emissivity and its impact on the heat dissipation. The first part describes the basics of thermal management, the issue of emissivity and its measurement. In the second, experimental part, are dedicated the emissivity values of examined specimens. These values are then used as initial conditions for the thermal simulation. In the last part are compared the measured results and the simulated results and is evaluated the impact of emissivity for the heat dissipation.
Extension of biomass boiler
Kastner, Jakub ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
Goal of this work is design and create extension data acquisition unit for existing system of heating boiler. Work is divided to theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part is mentioned methods of measuring temperature. Methods of measuring flue gas and placement of boilers into different classes according to standard ČSN EN 303-5:2013. The practical part deals with the design of schematic circuit for measuring the required parameters (lambda probe, thermocouple, measuring the light intensity using the photo-resist). Mechanical cover, testing created board under real conditions and the involvement of extension board into existing system of boiler. When commissioning the first version of the board appeared errors that were removed in the second version. In attempts to improve the operations of two boilers were found errors leading to the impossibility of any improvements.
Measurement of light sources heating
Ďurček, Milan ; Škoda, Jan (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to inform readers about the heat stress of different parts of the light sources. My project is made up of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on the structure, surface temperature, the efficiency of converting electricity to light, the parameters of individual sources and the different ways of measuring temperature increase. In the practical part, a testing method was designed to measure the surface temperature of various types of light sources. The results were collated and subsequently evaluated.
Temperature measurement of an asynchronous motor
Bartoň, Petr ; Deeb, Ramia (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
In this thesis there are described methods which are used in order to measure a temperature in electric machines. Whereas there is an influence of magnetic field and mechanical effects in the electric machines it is possible to use only limited number of methods for measuring temperature. These methods can be divided into two basic groups. The first group is being called "contact measurement" and while the second one is "non-contact measurement". Contact measurements are performed by usage of resistant sensors or thermocouples. On the other hand, non-contact measurements are performed by pyrometers and thermal imager cameras. Theoretical values of warming are determined by the FEMM which operates on the basis of the finite element method. In the practical part there are compared several methods whereby asynchronous engine was measured at various loads. Measured values are compared with theoretical values.
Temperature measurement in electric machines
Halfar, Ivo ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis Temperature measurement in electric machines deals with beginning and exuding of the heat of electric motors and measuring of the temperature. The temperature is one of the most important values in diagnostic. High temperature could damage an isolation and it could tend to destroy of the whole machine. The temperature influences their magnetic properties on motors with permanent magnets. If you reach the Curie temperature it could come to its demagnetisation. Measuring of the temperature is important to verify allowable warming of motor or more precisely its spooling. The measuring of the temperature is needed for making motors with minimum of charges and its worth at the end. We could use two methods for measuring the temperature. It is contact and noncontact method. Warming and decomposition of the temperatures it is possible to appoint also with help of theoretic computations which are getting of the method of final elements. A lot of computer programs is using this method. Because of the existence of many sorts of electric motors, one of the viewpoints is the principle of working, another one is the construction. I concentrate on problems of asynchronous motors. In this bachelors thesis I have done theoretical calculation and contact and noncontact method of measuring of warming of the asynchronous motor.
Temperature measurement of jet engine exhaust gas
Tunkr, Pavel ; Beneš, Petr (referee) ; Havránek, Zdeněk (advisor)
In this bachelor`s thesis are preliminary shortly described turbojet engine, their principle and method exhaust gas temperature measurement. Are here mentioned possible to sorts sensors temperature and chosen fit type sensor for given to application. Is here buckthorn connection sensor temperature and inverter. In next parts is processed proposal electronic inverter temperature/voltage and his simulation by the help of programme NI Multisim. After realization functional sample and measured his parameters are here publicize measuring data and achieved record.
Heat technological process model
Krásenský, Jan ; Dokoupil, Jakub (referee) ; Malounek, Petr (advisor)
This work presents possibilities of X20AT2222 and X20AT2402 measuring cards. It describes design of physical heat tunnel with three sections, where each one has own heating elements. In detail is described technical solution and structure of model. Subsequently is designed controller and process visualization for PLC. Based on identified system and model structure is created system simulation in Matlab Simulink.
Measurement of surface temperatures in mechanical engineering
Stránský, Marek ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with contact and non-contact methods of surface temperature measurement. The work contains a list and formulations of basic terms and laws of thermodynamics. Furthermore, the work deals with the description and comparison of the properties and use of certain devices for contact and non-contact surface temperature measurement. The experimental part is focused on dependence of the turning speed on the turning knife thermal stress. Subsurface thermocouples, surface thermocouples and thermovision were used for the temperature detection. The subsurface temperatures were afterwards used (as data inputs) for the inverse calculation of surface temperatures. All results obtained were then compared to each other.
The use of wireless temperature measurement to control the rotary kiln
Bednár, Anton ; Praha, Radek Strnad, ČMI OI (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
This project tries to find out the possible solution for temperature measurement and control on the rotary calcinations kiln at PRECHEZA company, by using of new wirelessHART temperature transmitters.
Brake Disc Temperature Measurement on Moving Vehicle
Mužák, Jaroslav ; Rasch, František (referee) ; Blaťák, Ondřej (advisor)
Subject of this diploma work is to complete preliminary report of possibilities and problems with brake disks monitoring on moving vehicle. A vital condition is to choose appropriate temperature sensor as well as assembling complete measuring set and it’s fastening to the vehicle. Temperature readings from driving tests, after specific brake maneuvers, will be evaluate and according to them a sensor will be determined as appropriate or inappropriate for this kind of tests.
