Security of Electronic Documentation in Medical Environment
Hauserová, Markéta ; Malinka, Kamil (referee) ; Barabas, Maroš (advisor)
Thesis is analyzing czech laws which are related to medical documentation. Describes the points  which are mandatory for information system, so the medical documentation can be stored electronically. Includes various algorithms for implementation of certain electronic signature and for  identification of person. This thesis deals with asymmetric cryptography, specifically RSA, DSA, and ECDSA. Describes the hash functions and their functions and their characteristics. Describes the principle of the certificate, ways of its obtaining, invalidation and their formats. Analyzes medical information system and suggests ways to create a program for signing medical records. Then based on that analysis, the program is implemented. At the conclusion of the work is discussed, if created program meets the criteria.

This work describes one - way hash functions and cryptographic algorithms . It also describes their implementation regarding DOC, PDF and ZIP files contents encryption . Subsequently , the implementation analyzis is provided . Following next, the brute - force attack procedure levereging GPU is proposed and evaluated.
Tool for PDF Document Transformation
Šústek, Ladislav ; Martínek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
Result of my diploma work is library for Java programming language. Which transform PDF to XHTML files using by open source library PDFBox and FONTBox. Final XHTML file is made by CSS style which allows its easier modification. Library extracts text, images and graphic objects from PDF.
Automated Document Categorization
Sváček, Radim ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Peringer, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of automated document categorization application. Text contains analysis of existing systems and description of classification methods. Thesis includes object oriented design of application including plugins. Application is implemented in C++ with possibility of functionality extension through plugins. Application aims to simplify work with unsorted documents through their organization into directory structure based on informations extracted from files, including their metadata.
Modification of web system for electronic document management
Dufka, Zbyněk ; Fujdiak, Radek (referee) ; Botta, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to provide a systematic study of Open Journal System, which is designed for electronic research papers publishing. Due to the nature of information published in this system, there is an elaborate approval process controlled by the editor. The main objective of this thesis is the realization of a system module, which would, at the end of the approval process, implement a stamp incorporating metadata of the source magazine to individual electronic documents. The thesis gives insight into the development of the structure of the Open Journal System and, briefly, describes the possibility of implementing this system. Another part of the work focuses on the sub-steps of the stamping module which was implemented into the system. This module allows editors to stamp individual electronic PDF documents that are published within the magazine and its various volumes. The module is designed to simplify the editing process of the journal with no prolongation or any other additional time required. Among other things, the reader learns how it is possible to create a block module, which can be used in the sidebar to display any system information. The work, also, previews the possibility to customize the user interface. Each implemented part contains solution proposals and, further, the implementation method and technical description is described in more detail. For better understanding and integrity of the work, stretches of the given code are also included, this might serve as an inspiration for users‘ modifications of the system.
Intelligent document
Šprta, Vlastimil ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Jirsík, Václav (advisor)
This diploma thesis, interested in intelligent documents, covers, in its introductory chapters, the basic problematics of inteligent documents. The major part of major part of these theorethical chapters is devoted to the analysis of possible practical applications of certain parts of knowledge management. The second part of the thesis, focused more on a practical usage of intelligent documents, includes the proposition of the actual structure and the realization of the specific intelligent document. This part also includes the evaluation and the examples of the differences between an ordinary electronic document and an intelligent document. The conclusion of the practical part of the thesis is the summary of all the findings concerning the practical implementation of an intelligent document and the evaluation of possible applications, extension possibilities and changes of such intelligent document.
Automatizované získávání dat z veřejných rejstříků a generování dokumentů
Petrovský, Jonáš
The thesis deals with public registers, options of acquiring data from them and document generation. Firstly the system of basic registers is described and the overview of registers in Czech Republic is created. Then the module for data acquiring from chosen registers is created (in PHP). Finally the web application for generating standard types of documents (document model in XML, generating to PDF) is created. It is focused on agreements, but it can be extended on other document types. It consists of two modules: 1. administrative for user and document type management, 2. user for document management. Used technologies: FPDF, Nette, curl, PHP, MySQL, Apache.
Electronic books at VŠE
Saska, Filip ; Koubský, Petr (advisor) ; Šperková, Lucie (referee)
The master dissertation Electronic books at VSE is focused on analysing the opportunities of e-books in the environment of VSE. The aim is to describe the current state of different study materials used at VSE and to explore different ways of improving them using e-book technology. The dissertation briefly describes various attributes of e-books with stress on the relevant attributes -- the possibility of inserting notes, bookmarks, multimedia and interactive content. Also the possibility of editing the content and sharing resulting changes with other students is a key attribute. The dissertation then moves on to describe the different kinds of study materials that are in use at VSE. The second half of the dissertation builds on previous analysis of the study materials and introduces a hypothetical optimal state, which could result from implementing e-book technology. This state is the answers the question of what is actually possible to achieve. The next chapter in this half is the technical analysis, which answers the question of how is it possible to achieve the suggested hypothetical state. The conclusion of this dissertation answers the questions whether the proposed solution is a viable candidate for implementation. The results of this dissertation could be used as a guideline for the project of implementation of e-book technology in the environment of VSE.
PDF security
Řezníček, Jan ; Čermák, Radim (advisor) ; Hubáček, Josef (referee)
Final thesis deals with the PDF file security. The aim of this paper is to map the security options available for this file format, deeper analyze their technical implementation, provide guidance on their usage and then test their reliability. The work is dedicated to security from the perspective of the publication of documents, i.e. the content of PDF files. It does not deal with application security, i.e. a possible attack on PDF files by malicious software. This text educates readers in the topic and its conclusion is an evaluation of security types, along with a practical set of recommendations for publishing secure PDF documents.
