The role databases in the recruitment process in relation to GDPR
Vais, Vojtěch ; Morávek, Jakub (advisor) ; Štefko, Martin (referee)
The role of databases in the recruitment process in relation to GDPR Abstract With the development of databases and computers, the possibility of automated data processing has emerged as we know it in the form of advanced databases today. Within half a century, the company switched from a paper file to a fully automatic way of manipulating data. This of course directly affects the processing of personal data. The law on the protection of personal data, which was initially part of the right to privacy, had to respond to the rapid development in the world of information technology. Working with the development of the right to protection of personal data is not addressed in isolation, but in the context of the development of information technology, and thus states the whole legal framework in the context, thus offering readers a wider understanding. The aim of the work is to respond to the stormy reactions that accompany the adoption of the general regulation with the support of the media world. In particular, to provide the reader with a real guide in applying the general regulation to the recruitment process in a situation where a large number of materials have been created in the public space, but they are kept at a very general level and do not provide real help to their users when dealing with specific...

Drug Information Centre service analysis II. Author: Natália Čikovská Supervisor: PharmDr. Kateřina Malá, Ph.D. Consultant: PharmDr. Petra Thomson Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University, Czech Republic Introduction: Drug Information Centre (DIC) of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralové was established in 1994 and is the only university-based DIC in the Czech Republic. DIC is providing expert information about drugs, such as answering medicines-related enquiries received from healthcare professionals. Objective: The objective of diploma thesis was to gather and analyze information about the informational service of LIC FAF UK a FN HK in 1994-2016 aimed for general characteristics of drug enquiries and professional drug information resources used for solving the enquiries. Methods: Detailed analysis of DIC activities was performed to compile suitable data. All enquiries from years between 1994 and 2016 were summarized into a database using Microsoft Excel software. General characteristics of the enquiries were analyzed, such an average number of enquiries per year or time needed for resolving one enquiry. Information about enquirers was considered as well, e.g. their profession and region, from which the enquiries were sent....
Automation of Geodetic Measurements and Their Data Analysis
Vojkůvka, Michal ; Štětina,, Josef (referee) ; Kratochvíl,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Talácko,, Milan (referee) ; Bureš, Jiří (advisor)
The present thesis deals with the process of automation of geodetic measurements using electronic geodetic instruments, e.g. electronic levels, electronic total stations, as well as other measuring instruments and devices generally used for geodetic measurements, including meteorological sensors. The goal is to design and create a platform for automated measurement system with integrated data collection, their storage and analysis with the help of remote internet access and allowing to export data in various formats.
Cycle Path GIS of Moravian Wine Trails
Žďárská, Kristýna ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (referee) ; Ježek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with creation of a geographic information system for two wine cycle route near by Mikulov. The main requirements were visualization of line and point symbols and research possibilities of publication data on the internet. Data, information and photos were collected in the field by the device Zeno 20 from the company Leica. This thesis was created in software ArcGIS for Desktop 10.4.1. from the company Esri and includes formation database queries and simple analysis over the measured data. Final GIS is available to everyone and allows to display the course of the route according to various criterions and points of interest for the needs of wine cyclist.

Creation and analysis of in-house database of pyrazine derivatives with potential antimicrobial activity
Kebakuile, Legae Gomolemo Boemo ; Zitko, Jan (advisor) ; Kučerová, Marta (referee)
In the early phases of drug design and development, scientists must overcome many challenges involved in identifying potential drug-like or lead-like compounds. This has led to the need of creating large sets of chemical data which will aid in improving the identification of pharmacophores and active compounds. Various scientific fields especially pharmacology, medicinal chemistry and biochemistry have begun to employ the use of computer sciences to aid in the screening for potential leads with more specificity with regards to drug-like compounds' or substances' bioactivity. The emphasis of this project was to create a database containing a collection of pyrazine compounds synthesized overtime in the Faculty of Pharmacy (Charles University, Hradec Kralove) with the aim of having anti-mycobacterium (and possible antibacterial and antifungal) activity, and further utilize this database to predict certain pharmacokinetic and bioavailability properties. This project seeks to demonstrate how certain molecular descriptors can be used as reliable chemoinformation to determine the likeliness or possibility of developing a lead-like or drug-like compound by utilizing computer software. An in-house database of 623 compounds saved in SMILES format was created and used in demonstrating quantitative...
The posibility of journal publishing the results of nursing research
Hůlová, Eva ; Hercová, Jana (advisor) ; Dynáková, Šárka (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to explore the possibility of publishing the results of research in professional nursing journals in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. In connection with the increasing demand on the education of nurses the involvement of nurses in nursing research also increases and expands. The content and extent of nursing care is necessary to verify as well as to promote research in order to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care. In this context, it is so interest the possibility of publishing the results of research and the criteria of the review process and other requirements imposed by editors of Czech and Slovak journals on authors interested in publications of scientific articles. In the theoretical part we deal with the development of nursing research journals. Work will be carried out by the analysis of written documents, citation analysis method that enables us to evaluate the documents on the basis of bibliographic references. We will draw on information sources in citation databases such as Science Citation Index, Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar in the category of Nursing, and the List of journals Publisher by the Council for Research, Development and Innovation of the Czech Republic. The result of this review of possibilities, rules and requirements for...
Modern approach to user interfaces for e-mail
Hruška, Marcel ; Kratochvíl, Miroslav (advisor) ; Škoda, Dominik (referee)
Webmails are indisposable interfaces for working with the e-mail on the current Internet, mostly because of the simplicity of their deployment in bro- wsers and easy integration with many provider-specific features. The most important features that are partially or fully missing in current open-source webmail implementations include directory-less mail organization by tags, navigation driven by a high-performance fulltext search, and integration of time-management capabilities. This thesis describes a new open-source alter- native to advanced commercial webmails that possesses these features. The software integrates full-text search capabilities of the ElasticSearch database with current e-mail processing infrastructure on UNIX systems to create a back-end server application, which is used by a Javascript-based browser front-end. The performance of the solution is tested on a large e-mail dataset. 1
