Molekulární podmíněnost rezistence lnu vůči těžkým kovům a možnost jejího ovlivnění transgenozí
Vrbová, Miroslava
This work is focused on the molecular conditionality of flax resistance to heavy metals. Attention was therefore devoted to the identification of proteins whose role in stress response to heavy metals have not been discovered yet in flax. Two contrasting flax varieties displayed differences in steady state levels of short thiol peptides (GSH and PC) and heavy-metal binding proteins (ferritin and lipocalin) which can detoxify cadmium via chelation. These results are the first published analysis of the proteomic response to cadmium exposure in commercially important annual crop with potential use in phytoremediation. Another of the objectives was to verify the possibilities of influencing the flax resistance to heavy metal using transgenosis. There were obtained a multiplied flax plants, in which the presence of a transgene was verified, and these lines were tested for tolerance and accumulation of cadmium in both in vitro and in the field conditions.

A painting as a graphic metaphor of a gender identity
NIŽNÍKOVÁ, Kateřina
This thesis focuses on how Roznov art therapy schools approach gender issues. It deals with a gender perception development during an art therapy process (through the course of study). In the theoretical part it describes gender issues from the historical point of view and it addresses the feminist movement and its impact on an understanding of gender differences. It also describes psychological theories of the beginning and evolution of sex differences and therapeutic effects of art therapy. The practical part of this thesis includes a characterization of art therapy techniques. It pursues the symbol of ?original sin?. It examines a set of art therapy students? artwork and it studies the gender identification references. It also analyses a set of students? questionnaires, especially the experience of gender identification perception before and during their studies.

Imaging Methods in Antropology
KOBLASOVÁ, Věra
Abstract Imaging Methods in Anthropology. Anthropology, a science born in the 16th century, deals with humans. One of its branches is physical anthropology which includes forensic anthropology and osteology. The imaging methods in anthropology are indispensable tool for identification of the dead and for examination of mummies or other prehistoric bone material. Comparing of pre-death and after-death x-ray snapshots is essential for identification of human remains in forensic anthropology and odontology. The latest trend is 3D face reconstruction with the help of computed tomography. The aim of the thesis is: 1. To analyse all the methods available in the field of anthropology of the present time which use the radiology imaging methods. 2. To compare using of the computed tomography in the Czech Republic and other European countries. The data were obtained through questionnaires sent to anthropology institutes and museums dealing with photographing historical bone material and through searching and processing information focused on the topic of the theses. The results show that the imaging methods in anthropology are under-used. The anthropologists are fully aware of all available imaging methods but the methods are not used often enough because of financial and time consuming reasons. On the contrary to under-using the imaging methods in the Czech Republic the other European countries use the methods a lot more often. A hypothesis was established at the beginning of the research: ?All the available modern radiology imaging methods are not used enough in the Czech Republic. The hypothesis was confirmed. I would like to present the results of the theses at the specialist?s seminars of radiology assistants and to point out the possible further use of radiology imaging methods.

Development of state 1:5 000 maps - derived
PETR, Tomáš
The aim of the thesis is to provide an overview of gradual development of the map series called State Maps 1:5 000 ? derived. From 1945 maps of large scale were required for all types of design work, in particular in the most suitable scale for design, i.e. 1:5 000. Therefore it was decided to prepare ?State Map 1:5000 ? economic? SHM5 being the original one containing planimetry and altimetry of the whole state territory. Since preparation of the original economic map proceeded slowly, it was approached to creation of a temporary map 1:5 000 so called ?State Map 1:5 000 ? derived SMO-5?, which is the subject of my Bachelor?s Thesis. As the name indicates it was a map composed from available materials. Currently SMO-5 has been fully replaced with State Map 1:5 000 (SM-5), which is raster or vector. This thesis provides a total summary of all activities carried out to prepare SMO-5 starting with preparatory work (availability of map sheets and other graphic materials), total creation, layout, identification and dividing of map sheets, control work, issue of SMO-5 map up to creation of map markers according to basic stipulations and altimetric ratios. SM-5 overview, including summary of the existing technology, use of SM-5 digital form and overall assessment of quality and accuracy of planimetry and altimetry concurrently evaluating also SMO-5 creates an individual chapter.

Identification and characterization of newly found antimicrobial peptide (IRAMP) from hard tick \kur{Ixodes ricinus}
OUŘEDNÍKOVÁ, Lucie
Antimicrobial proteins (AMPs) are effector molecules and an important part of the innate immune system. AMPs have a broad antimicrobial spectrum and lyse microbial cells by interaction with biomembranes. Besides direct impact in host defence, AMPs are mediators of inflammation with impact on epithelial and inflammatory cells influencing diverse processes such as cytokine release, cell proliferation, angiogenesis, wound healing, chemotaxis, immune induction, and protease-antiprotease balance. AMPs could replace antibiotics which efficiency has decreased due to extensive clinical use. Therefore knowledge of mechanism of action of antimicrobial peptides, their properties and possible usage is essential for their further use as therapeutics. Ticks are blood-feeding ectoparisites that serve as extremely effective vectors of pathogens. Analysis of the ticks molecules that are involved in immune response to the pathogens invasion represent one of the strategies in searching for new compounds that might be used in future as theurapeutic agents. This study represents analysis of newly identified antimicrobial peptide form in the hard tick Ixodes ricinus (IRAMP). IRAMP revealed the high similarity to the recently described antimicrobial peptide isolated from hard tick Ixodes scapularis (protein ISAMP). Analysis and characterization of novel AMP, testing its antimicrobial potential and expression pattern are the main objectives of this study

Public relations of infant school.
MARŠÁNOVÁ, Jindřiška
Annotation Current financing of schools and school facilities is based on the output, i. e. the numer of pupils attending the school, that is why schools are getting into a competitors fight for customer, which is the pupil. School marketing has become the necessity in school management. Public relations is a part of the school marketing and helps schools draw attention to themselves and promote their activities and objects. The theoretical part contains general characteristics of marketing and school marketing. Special emphasis is placed on the relation between kindergartens and the public, on their Promotion and opening towards the environment, which is very important today. The practical part surveys how kindergartens present themselves in the public and how widely they use the means of public relations. The research has been carried out within the frame of the kindergartens in the Czech Republic and from the point of view of the parents from the kindergarten in Dačice. A part of the project is a suggestion of a complex PR system in the kindergarten in Dačice with the focus to common workplace identification.

The automatic identification technologies usage for company management
