Creation of Apple iPhone Applications
Ondrůj, Daniel ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to create a tutorial that could help developers interested in creating new applications for Apple iPhone to pass their initial unfamiliarity with the phone, its development environment, the programming language and the use of other components of the phone. The tutorial should be helpful for readers who have at least basic knowledge of the application development. There are also some useful links for readers who have no previous knowledge of programs' development. These materials describe some basic features and then clarify the common issues in more depth. Not only does this tutorial describe the phone's features and development tools, it also explains development procedures of concrete application. The phone has been introduced with a lot of new features such as accelerometer, large touch screen, etc. Therefore the application is trying to take advantage of most of these characteristics. The motive of this application stems from the old Russian game Tetris. This document describes only the functional and graphical design, concrete implementation and the source code are included in attachments.
Night Sky on Mobile Device
Plešek, Jan ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Menlo} This thesis describes concept and implementation of the application designed to observate the night sky in the simple and intuitive way using the concept of augmented reality. Based on the brief specification of the most widespread mobile operation systems, the iOS system was chosen as the implementation platform. The thesis describes methods to calculate the position of celestial objects based on the data gathered from GPS module, magnetometer and accelerometer. Stars, planets and other objects are rendered by the stereographic projection. The user can see celestial objects trough the mobile device display and control the direction of the view by positioning and turning the device. The application could be used for quick orientation in night sky during astronomical observation or educational purposes.
iPhone OS Software Development
Matejovič, Martin ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis covers software development for Apple's mobile phonde iPhone. Official iPhone SDK is available from Apple developer's web site. The thesis includes iVoip application, developed using iPhone SDK. This application could be used as VoIP client using SIP protocol.
Sport Assistant for iOS
Fišer, Jakub ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to create a mobile phone application for iOS, that would be used for recording all sport activities of a person. The application can record activity using GPS or count the exercise manually, automatically at time intervals or by motion sensor. For recognition of moves while using motion sensor was developed a library called Motion Recognizer. The application uses HealthKit framework. The application also offers an opportunity of planning a sport activity by using Trainer objects. It uses Core Data framework while working with data and it backs up the data on iCloud.
Design and Implementation of Mobile Application for iPhone Device
Vodák, Jakub ; Šmíd, Lubomír (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to design and build mobile application for iPhone by Apple. Application is placed and sold in the online store App store. Work contains several marketing campaigns for sales support.
Mobil system for monitoring of sports activity
Maleňák, Filip ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis is to analyse methods that are used for monitoring athlete’s activities and a description of current technical solutions with a focus on heart rate and respiratory rate monitoring. The presented solution shows the possibilities of using available open source SW and HW technologies and their implementation in the design of an integrated tool for monitoring sports activities with the iOS operating system.
Location tracking via GPS
Stříteský, Jan ; Vychodil, Petr (referee) ; Nagy, Ľuboš (advisor)
The presented thesis deals with the subject of tracking via GPS and focuses on possibilities of the practical implementation of user tracking system with the help of mobile end user devices. The introductory theoretical part shortly describes the properties and history of the GPS navigation system. It outlines possible development of end user mobile applications on the level of operating systems and mobile web applications. The final theoretical part provides a short outline of properties of tacking systems available in the Czech market. The primary aim of the thesis was to create an application which would enable the tracking of user position via GPS. The practical part describes the selected solution as well as the individual parts of the designed tracking system. The resulting system allows to record and track user position determined by a mobile phone with an integrated GPS module. The systems also enables the creation of user groups, tracking their routes and visualization of the given position or entire route on a map.
Mobile System for Monitoring Sports Activity
Maleňák, F.
The aim of this thesis is to present possible technical solution for monitoring sports activity. Electric signals of heart are transmitted into an open-source Arduino platform and results are presented to the user in a clear and structured way through a mobile application. The suggested system shows the possibilities of using available SW and HW technologies and their implementation in the design of an integrated tool for monitoring sports activity. System also shows the user’s respiratory rate.
