Formula Car Fuel System Design
Rubíček, Pavel ; Svída, David (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
The fuel system is a very important part of the vehicle and the engine. The main function is to deliver the fuel- air mixture into the engine cylinder. This thesis describes the design of the Formula student car fuel system. The first part is an introduction to Formula Student competitions. The next section describes the options of the fuel systems structure and options for individual components. Those rules limit the possibilities for us FSAE that in the next chapter. The following parts are major chapters dealing with the actual design of the fuel system and analysis of selected components. The last part are chapters that deal with the production possibilities of parts and subsequent incorporation into the fuel system of the car.
Low temperature fuel cell for ultra-light-plane
Hladiš, Lukáš ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the concept of propulsion for ultralight plane with using fuel cells technology. Here are described the individual kinds of fuel cells and possible fuel. Furthermore it is listed the calculation of low-temperature fuel cell H2 - O2 with polymeric membrane (PEM). The thesis includes also a part with the design drawings of the proposed solutions.
Steam boiler with wood grate firing
Jakeš, Pavel ; Skála, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with proposal of the steam boiler on combustion uncontaminated wood. For the specified parameters have been implemented stoichiometric calculations and calculations enthalpy burnt gas. In the next part have been dealt with heat balance of the boiler, the efficiency of the boiler, design of the combustion chamber and calculation of particular rating surfaces. The output parametres are temperature, pressure and the amount of steam.
Optimization of biomass boiler
Mizerovský, Karel ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Štelcl, Otakar (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis solves the problem of measure to optimization boiler of biomass. Theoretic part deals with divided of boiler using solid fuels, exactly boiler focus on biomass combustion. Second part deals with design of deflectors to increase combustion efficiency and practical testing of proposal.
Boilers for house heating
Grepl, Martin ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of small boilers for solid, liquid and gas fuels for heating houses. Its introductory part describes types of fuels, their basic classification, characteristics, and environmental impact during combustion. Various types of boilers suitable for domestic heating are described in its second part. It shows classification according to the type of combustion fuel, advantages/ disadvantages, and also basic parameters of these boilers. The last part of this thesis focuses on calculation of selected boilers in terms of their parameters and cost.
Travel Modification of a Motorcycle
Gawliczková, Dominika ; Klimeš, Lubomír (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design travel modifications of a Yamaha XG250 Tricker motorcycle that is planned to go with on a trip to Central Asia. These modifications involve a design of a bigger fuel tank including physical models and a design of luggage racks that will be followed by a strength check.
Fuel cell and vehicles
Zlámal, Josef ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
In the first part of this work a historical development of fuel cell, description of its construction and function including a comparison of currently used fuel cells is presented. The next part of this work is focused on fuel for fuel cells, its production, distribution and storage. The last chapters are dealing with fuel cell automobile, project of particular car companies and author´s assessment of individual fuel cell systems.
Boilers for house heating
Kádek, Viktor ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with solid fuel boilers for house heating. It contains information about boilers using fossil fuels and various forms of biomass. The first part is devoted to the search retrieval of solid fuels currently used. Their properties, composition, important technical characteristics and parameters and also their environmental impact are described and explained in this part. The second part contains a brief description and distribution of solid fuel boilers for house heating, comparision of varios types of boilers and an overview of the market for solid fuel boilers in the Czech Republic. The last part of this thesis focuses on calculating and comparing the costs of each type of boiler for the selected reference house.
The heating system with accumulation
Bártů, Marek ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Štelcl, Otakar (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis "The heating system with accumulation" is concerning with an appropriate solution of heating of a house. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is dedicated to theoretical introduction that clarifies the issue of accumulation tank and describes how it works and what kind of processes takes place here. The second, practical part is devoted to calculation of losses and design of heating system in combination with the accumulation medium. As a model example is taken a house in Brno - Židenice.
Small boilers as a source for family houses
Studnicki, Jakub ; Katolický, Jaroslav (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The paper summarizes the basic parameters of boilers with low power for use in family homes. The boilers are divided into chapters according to the used fuel (gas, solid fuels, liquid fuels, biomass, pellets...). For each boiler there are basic characteristics, dimensions, methods of attachment to the wall or floor and if hot water heating is integrated. It is also characterized by a boiler heating system, i.e. the flue requirements, size and location of the water supply for heating. In another part there is an assessment of economic and environmental aspects of boilers. From an economic perspective I focus on a fuel economy and from an ecological mainly on the ratio of fuel efficiency and pollutants emitted into the air.
