V této práci je přiblížen historický vývoj palivového článku, popis jeho konstrukce a funkce, včetně porovnání výhod a nevýhod v současnosti nejčastěji používaných typů. Další část se věnuje problematice paliv pro palivové články, jejich výrobě, distribuci a skladování. Poslední kapitoly se věnují automobilu s palivovými články, projektům jednotlivých automobilek a vlastnímu hodnocení jednotlivých systémů palivových článků. In the first part of this work a historical development of fuel cell, description of its construction and function including a comparison of currently used fuel cells is presented. The next part of this work is focused on fuel for fuel cells, its production, distribution and storage. The last chapters are dealing with fuel cell automobile, project of particular car companies and author´s assessment of individual fuel cell systems.
