Automatic configuration of networking devices in Cisco academy laboratory
Verner, Lukáš ; Pust, Radim (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with proposal and system implementation for automatic configuration of Cisco network devices. This system is called AutoConf and it is intended for distant copying configuration files from eagle-server to the switches and routers in Cisco academy laboratory. It is handled by web pages placed on eagle-server. In this system, user can create new laboratory exercises with configuration files for network devices and then these files could be used for configurations. Informations about done configurations are saved in relation database MySQL. Network devices which will be configured by system AutoConf have to be connected with eagle-server. To setup their connection settings was created decision-making mechanism. If it detects physical connection between network device and eagle-server before network device starts, it will set network device for communication with eagle-server.
Principals, switching functions and routing techniques in computer networks
Dvořák, Pavel ; Pelka, Tomáš (referee) ; Polívka, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis consider main principles and function of active network components. Mainly is intent to component working on the third level of referential model ISO/OSI, router. There are described its main parts and more closely charactered routing protocols. Then is verified the ability of dynamic routing to react to failure in the network and there is measured the reaction time of crossing to secondary route when using different routing protocols. Another part of the thesis is focused on the questions of Quality of Service (QoS) and its support in computer networks. There are explored various ways of the QoS configuration on the routers and the proper of them is chosen and applied to the test network.
Network element project by means of neural network
Pokorný, Petr ; Krček, Petr (referee) ; Šťastný, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis deal with a priority network switch whose model was made in programming environment Matlab - Simulink. Problem of optimal switching is solved by Hopfield’s artificial neural network. Produce of the diploma thesis is a model of packet switch and time-severity comparison of optimalization problem solved with or without artificial neural network. The thesis was developed in research project MSM 0021630529 Intelligent Systems in Automation.
Future trends of the specific semiconductor components utilization
Chocholáč, Jan ; Kosina, Petr (referee) ; Běťák, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with discrete components such as Multiplexers and Sample-and-Hold. The central objective of this work is to provide a description of how the components work, to outline a survey of their construction design, and to define the relations between the product series. By the help of graphic diagrams, various aspects of difference and comparison related to the manufacturers are specified in order to complement the main analysis.
Network Infrastructure Design in the Building of Labour Office in Prostejov
Slunský, Tomáš ; Koutný, Vladimír (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The thesis concentrates on the network infrastructure problems , its proposal in the civil service area and analyses in detail the present condition of surroundings in the chosen organisation which requirements and needs for the suggested network infrastructure result from subsequently . On the base of the analysis it considers the posibility of realising the network infrastructure which consists in the choice of the suitable technology and the proposal of the computer network structure , including the implementation the solution in the given organisation and the specification of the financing resources.
Computer Network Design
Bartoň, Jan ; Kavan, Jiří (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to analyze the current state of the customer's computer network and his requirements. Then the changes and the way of their realization were proposed. The next part of the thesis are the description of appropriate components, selected technologies and the detailed description of the implementation process, including blueprints.
Software design for mapping of the network topology
Janura, Dominik ; Novotný, Bohumil (referee) ; Sobek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis addresses the issues of network topology mapping, where the network consists of multiple Cisco devices. It includes theoretical knowledge in this field and closely describes possible solutions to this problem. It explains the process of design and implementation of this kind of network mapping software by chosen means. Correct function of the created application is tested on a virtual network.
Design of Switch Used in Modern Communication Networks
Mojžiš, Ľubomír ; Novotný, Bohumil (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with switching components of modern communication networks. A switch architecture focused on the quality of service is described in this paper and there are two switch models designed and simulated in the simulating program MATLAB-SIMULINK. The first model is based on classic switching and the other one is controlled by neural network. A laboratory exercise suitable for communication networks education is created in this paper on the basis of designed models.
ARM Cortex M4 Development board
Volek, Lukáš ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
In this work I aimed at designing a universal system for testing either STM32F407/417 by STMicroelectronics and later various sensors and communication buses. The result then is a main board with many specific connectors for individual buses even with connectors making all I/O pins accessible at the same time. Thanks to advanced switching regulators the power supply is capable of accepting a wide range of sources like single Li-Ion cell, pair of alkaline cells, 12V Lead battery, common wall power adapters (both DC and AC up to 15 Vpp ), USB, laboratory power supplies with multiple outputs and finally POE (Power Over Ethernet). Supply voltages are supervised by voltage comparators with an optical signalisation. (It is possible to determine the sick branch without a measuring instrument and blowing components in the most cases.) Another important parameter was a robustness of the supply and communication lines. There is a number of TVSs, chokes, and big and low ESR capacitors A PC software is intended for a basic functionality demonstration only.
Switch optimization in converged network
Švec, Adam ; Sobek, Jiří (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
Switch Optimization in a Converged Network thesis discusses the role of the Ethernet switch in the network. It describes differences between the switch and the hub in the network and the impacts on the collision domain size. In the converged network, priority data switching according to their origin and thus the qualitative point of view is also addressed - e-mails, voice services and multimedia will each behave differently. A real element, switch L3 - a switch with services quality support - is mentioned. The tool Matlab - Simulink is briefly described and a functional simplified model of the ethernet switch was created. Furthermore, the topic was used as a theme for a laboratory task in the subject Services of Telecommunication Networks. A model for Simulink and an example of the laboratory protocol for the created task are attached to the thesis.
