Security alarm with IoT features
Kubů, Jiří ; Pokorný, Jiří (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the implementation of own design of an electronic security system with the possibility of extension with the elements of home automation. The control panel is built using the Raspberry Pi3 B+ with a touch screen that communicates with the sensors using Bluetooth Low Energy technology.
Bluetooth Low Energy Voting Device
Vybíral, Tomáš ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and implementation of embedded voting device and application for voting. The proposed voting device uses Bluetooth Low-Energy protocol which helps to achieve low energy consumption. The result of this thesis is a fully functional prototype. UI application was created using the Qt framework and is responsible for handling wireless connections, processing of individual voices and displaying the voting results.
Energy Consumption Monitoring Using Bluetooth Low Energy
Ježovica, Filip ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with communication in a wireless technology environment. The aim of this work is shows to the reader with the possibility of using communication in networks with low energy. It is trying to demonstrate these informations in the design of the prototype which is communicating in Bluetooth Low Energy network. This device is senses light pulses in space limited electricity meter. Recorded pulses are forwarded using this technology to the storage devices.
Internet of Things Device Based on ZigBee and 6LoWPAN
Halász, Dávid ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Musil, Petr (advisor)
Internet of Things is the latest phenomenon in the computing industry. Even if it has not been completely defined yet, we are already surrounded by various devices connected to the Internet. This thesis project focuses on low cost and low-power wireless solutions and on the on-line backend behind the architecture. At the same time the present work also deals with Cloud Computing which can provide a highly scalable runtime environment for this backend without building an infrastructure. To handle the huge amount of data collected by billions of devices, BigData services could be used in the same cloud space. The project is a collection of the theoretical background of the Internet of Things; so as a result, it provides the reader with an overview of the concept. It also provides a walktrough of the design, implementation and testing process of a complex agricultural Internet of Things solution.
Zero knowledge authentication
Bošeľa, Jaroslav ; Hajný, Jan (referee) ; Dzurenda, Petr (advisor)
This thesis looks to authentication, principle and basic divison. Another part of thesis looks to Zero–Knowledge protocols, which protocols with zero information, their analysis and base elements, also thesis presents technology Bluetooth Low Energy, specification of this technology in transmission simple data between computer Raspberry Pi 2 and mobile phone. The practical part of thesis works on experiment of sending simple data between Raspberry 2 and Android phone.
Authentication in the IoT
Drápela, Roman ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Dzurenda, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on authentication in the IoT. Some of the authentication protocols from the area of IoT are introduced at the beginning of the thesis. Next part of the thesis describes the NFC and BLE technologies, which can be applied in the IoT. Multi-device protocol is implemented using different devices (PC, mobile phone, SmartWatch). This protocol enables autentication based on the processes above the elliptic curves. Two sets of measurements (simulated and practical) are provided. In the final part of the thesis all the results are assessed.
Localization system
Chlad, Miloslav ; Novotný, Radovan (referee) ; Levek, Vladimír (advisor)
The intent of this master’s thesis is to look for the best solution of finding lost items of everyday use. Described solution is based on GPS for outdoor and Bluetooth Low Energy for indoor localization. User of this system will be able to find his/her lost items using smartphone application.
Bluetooth device security testing
Hlaváček, Jan ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dzurenda, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is analysis and inventory security risks of Bluetooth technology, assembly Bluetooth adapter and proposal and poposal of testing procedures, which will helps evaluate security of tested device.
iBeacon - New Technology in Retailing and Tourism
KŘÍŽOVÁ, Tereza
The purpose of this bachelor work is a proposal for the use of iBeacon technology for a specific subject and the subsequent costing for implementation of this technology. The particular purpose is the analysis of IBeacon technology focusing on the sector of trade and tourism. The academic part is dedicated to the description of iBeacon and analysis of potential uses in trade and tourism; it includes a comparison with other technologies, acceptance of the innovation by customers and specifications of selected technologies used in examined sectors. Practical part consists of five case studies. A proposal for the implementation of this technology in city of Pisek is put together based on the obtained information. Part of the thesis is a calculation that enumerates expenses for the implementation of the concept for one year and a list of potential benefits for the city.
Communication between the Android OS and Arduino Platform
Mychko, Maksim ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with creating a library for the Android OS which enables efficient wireless communication with platform Arduino. The target is to create an application for Android OS, using a created library that allows you to capture data from various sensors and control effectors. The work describes basic wireless interfaces for Android OS and Arduino platform. The main benefits and drawbacks functions are also introduced. The comparison of current consumption for modules HM-10 and DIGI S1 has been carried out as well. Possibility of data acquisition and effector controlling exercises have been tested and verified.
