Opportunities of Czech exporters in China

In the first part the thesis concentrates on People's Republic of China - basic characterization of the state, its history, present situation and future prospects. In the second part the framework conditions for export of Czech firms are described. This includes support from the government, services provided to exporters and information about trade and economic cooperation between China and Czech Republic. Third part is about specifications of doing business in China, competitive strength of Czech exporters and cultural differences of Chinese people. The last part is focused on export opportunities in China according to following sectors: automotive industry, construction, electronics and software, chemicals, energetics, aviation industry and environmental technologies.

Czech-Chinese foreign relations: perspectives of cooperation

The development of the People's Republic of China over the last decades is considered being one of the most significant trends in the current international environment. The Czech Republic has also experienced series of political, economical and social changes over the last years. However, the development of the Czech-Chinese foreign relations has not so far reflected these fundamental changes sufficiently. This thesis therefore describes the past development of the Czech-Chinese foreign relations and the development of the foreign policies of both sides and examines options for their mutual cooperation in the future. It is concluded that increased mutual cooperation could be beneficial for both sides for which supporting arguments covering the political and economic fields are presented separately for the Czech Republic and the People's Republic of China. In addition, specific diplomatic, economic and ideological instruments are proposed that might be used by both states in order to intensify the mutual Czech-Chinese foreign relations.

China's Accession to the WTO: the Impact on Relations with the Main Economic Partners

People's Republic of China is currently one of the most performing asian developing countries and at the same time it is also one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Aim of this thesis is to compare the territorial structure of China's external economic relations before and after the year 2001 when China joined the World Trade Oragnization. The thesis puts the accent on the main economic partners such as the European Union, Japan and the United States of America.

Main trends in development of Chinese economy from 1990s

People's Republic of China is nowadays one of the fastest growing economies. That is the reason why my bachelor thesis concentrates on a position of China in the world economy during the last two decades. I focus on the development of particular macroeconomic indicators (GDP, inflation and unemployment). I also emphasis on China's foreign trade, especially on volumes of exports and imports, main trading partners and commodity structure. Furthermore I describe economic cooperation between China and the Czech Republic.

Diplomatic relations between the USA and the People's Republic of China

In my thesis I analyze the diplomatic relations between the United States of America and the People's Republic of China and their influence not only on the Pacific region but also on the rest of the world. The thesis relies especially on written pieces on the topic as there is sufficient amount of them with regard to the broadness of the topic. The aim of the thesis is to describe the development of the diplomatic relations between the two states in the international framework, to record the circumstances which forced each state to take the position to another and the impact which the development of mutual relations had to the world. The thesis is divided into 4 chapters. The first chapter maps the period of the time from the end of the 19th century to the establishment of the People's Republic of China. It deals with the problems of the open door policy, The World War Two and the following third Chinese civil war. The second chapter investigates the Korean War and its incidence on the mutual relations. Next chapter is focused on the normalization of the mutual diplomatic relations in particular in the 1970s. In the last chapter I analyze creation of the triangular diplomacy, the impact of the normalization on the Pacific region and the admission of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations.

Obchodní vazby České republiky a Čínské lidové republiky

Práce analyzuje vzájemné obchodní vazby České republiky a Čínské lidové republiky za období 1993 - 2006. Úvodní část je věnována makroekonomické komparaci obou republik. Dále obsahuje kvantitativní a kvalitativní analýzu zahraničního obchodu, smluvní základnu a specifické kulturní odlišnosti v obchodě. Závěr PB patří proexportní politice a SWOT analýze čínského trhu.

Special Economic Zones in PRC in 1980s

Cílem této práce je analyzovat vývoj čínských zvláštních hospodářských zón (SEZ) a způsob, jakým ovlivnily čínskou ekonomiku po jejich založení v 80. letech 20. století. Zmíněna jsou vysvětlení pojmu SEZ, stejně jako některé teorie regionálního rozvoje. Dále, výkon SEZ v 80. letech je porovnán s důvody, které vedly k založení SEZ. Podán je i krátký popis vývoje SEZ Shenzhen v první polovině 80. let.
