Carrier Frequency Generator for Portable Radar Signal Simulator
Filip, Martin ; Raida, Zbyněk (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis and solution source for carrier frequency generator for portable radar signal simulator. This simulator is tunable in the frequency range from 2 GHz to 18 GHz and as it´s frequency source generator is used YIG oscillator for its very high frequency realignment. Simulator provides output power up to 1W on the SMA connector which can be connect to internal antenna by using jumper cable. To achieve this output power will be used by semiconductor amplifier.
Meaurement process automatization of deviations and stability of oscilators
Čermák, Jan ; Nováková Zachovalová, Věra (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This Master´s thesis on a topic ,,Meaurement process automatization of deviations and stability of oscilators‘‘ describes methods for measuring the difference of time scales. Using this method, calculates the parameters of the oscillator, which is also describes in this work. Parameters of the oscillator means inning and stability. Describes is the procedure for calculating the uncertainties and their presentation in the final calibration sheet. This Master´s thesis also describes the practical measurement with this method in the Czech metrology institute in Brno. Measurement of the parameters of oscillator by the method of measurement of the difference of time scales is carried out automatically by computer. This Master´s thesis deals with the creation and development of new software and thus the automation of the entire task.
Universal active elements and their usage in frequency filters
Vencálek, Roman ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Herencsár, Norbert (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the advanced universal modern active elements, such as the current and voltage conveyors. The problem with small bandwidth has been fixed due to the quick development in recent years. Current and voltage conveyors are still being researched. The good properties of conveyors promise their possible commercial usage in the future. For the research of current conveyors we can use parts of other integrated circuits and thus get elements with similar properties. This thesis suggests how to make an active filter using the DBTA and FDBTA elements which were created by “combination” of the universal current and voltage conveyor. Simulations were carried out on selected circuits containing the DBTA to verify their properties. It was for finding out about their behaviour in real applications that the circuits were constructed. This enabled the comparison of the results acquired from the simulation programs with the ideal behaviour of the elements and with the models simulating real properties against the values acquired by measurements of the circuits.
Doble-balanced mixer - laboratory equipment
Dušek, Libor ; Baran, Ondřej (referee) ; Vágner, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this work was double-balanced mixer implementation, which will be used like laboratory equipment. This thesis deals with design of the double-balanced mixer from first theoretical principles to a practical design of a laboratory equipment. For the practical design the integrated mixer SA612 was used. Input signal to the mixer up to 500 MHz frequency can be used. For required operation external oscillator and fifth-order low pass filter were constructed. Oscillator was designed for fixed frequency 32 MHz. Fifth-order low pass filter was inserted between the mixer and the oscillator, because of filtering higher harmonics. The second aim of the work was measuring double-balanced mixer basic parameters, such as Compression Point (P-1dB) and Intercept Point (IP3). For the IP3 measurement, another one device was required. It consists of the power combiner for mixing two frequency close signals and third-order bandpass filter, which selects required frequency band. Finally, the laboratory equipment was fabricated and its real parameters were measured.
Design and construction of automatic galvanic line
Vondruš, Jiří ; Janda, Marcel (referee) ; Melichar, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of automated system of electroplating. The first part is centered on designing the technological process for this electroplating and the setout of operating vats. It also deals with the project of mechanical construction, electrical system, with the computing procedure and the optimum choice of gear for galvanic line model. The work includes the design of a DC motor controller, the computing procedure and the construction of heating element for vats heater simulation. The last part of this thesis offers an insight to the control system and the assembled program. In the addendum, the photo of the realized model, the wiring scheme, and the programme transcript for control galvanic line model can be found.
Design of mechatronic system with electromagnetic damper for presentation of oscillation
Borek, Dušan ; Lošák, Petr (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of mechatronic system with electromagnetic damping to control the oscillator with single degree of freedom. Final system should present the immediate effects of the excitation and damping of the basic dynamic system.
The usage of technical analysis on spot Forex market
Melichárek, Martin ; Brůna, Karel (advisor) ; Blaheta, Petr (referee)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is to describe the various elements of the technical analysis and their practical usage for real trading in the international Foreign Exchange market. In the first part there is a characteristic of the market in terms of participants and their motivation and in terms of traded currency pairs. Next part is focused on technical analysis and development from its beginnings to modern graphical and statistical methods. Application of the assumptions of these methods to real data of the EUR/USD currency pair and the analysis of these results is the main goal of this thesis. Selected formations, oscillators, trend and predicting indicators are analyzed in detail and finally is outlined comprehensive analysis that links all these elements. The stated main goal is to find out whether we could rely on technical analysis in the prediction of exchange rates with an emphasis on speculative trading on Forex.
Circadian rhythm of secondary alga Chromera velia
JONÁKOVÁ, Martina
A life cycle of many known algae is influenced by the circadian clock. It seems probable that also Chromera velia, the closest known photosynthetic relative to Apicomplexa, uses circadian oscillator. We tested, if fluctuating of zoospore?s abundance is driven by the circadian clock. This rhythm is stable even in the constant light condition. Furthermore, three cryptochrome genes, involved in circadian rhythms, were sequenced and consequently phylogenetically investigated. Two of them were classified as CRY-DASH, the third is CRY-DASH-like. The rhythmicity of CRY-DASH expression in C. velia was also investigated. The level of expression was also tested under constant light and dark condition. It was suggested that expression of these genes is associated with the circadian oscillator. This is the first study of the circadian clock in C. velia.
Investment Analysis Using Fibonacci´s Method
Knupp, Aleš ; Musílek, Petr (advisor) ; Jablonský, Petr (referee)
This diploma thesis examines an investment analysis of pairs of currencies quoted relative to American Dollars, British Pounds and Euros. Oil is introduced into the analysis to be representative of comodities in general. The study presented here is based on Fibonacci's analytic tools. These tools are introduced to the reader from basic concepts including off-market coherences to more advanced topics such as real market situations. The reader is lead through each concept by example and as the reader becomes more familiar and able to handle the basic concepts more difficult scenarios are covered including combinational analysis of the market with accesible instruments on a price axis. From this basis, we focus on market evolution with using abstract approaches and finally time aspects of a price cycling will be presented. The conclusion is followed by a complex example using all the elements previously discussed for an actual set of market data featuring the currency pair EURUSD.
